Abstract

In an electric cooking plate (1), the profiled ring (17), which serves for support on the cooker tray (2), is provided, by means of elastically resilient circumferential extension and a springy cross-sectional zone (29), with an external annular leg (18) which is resiliently deflectable within narrow tolerances and which forms, by means of a ring-target shaped annular edge (28), a flat support surface (26) for support on the cooker tray (2). When the electric cooking plate (1) is tightened, the seat part (25) of the profiled ring (17), which is thus movable in the manner of a disc spring, slides with a sliding edge (27) out of an angular position into its full-surface contact against the seat surface (8) of the cooker tray (2). <IMAGE>
