Die Sortiereinrichtung ist insbesondere für einen Platten­transporteur für Druckplatten gemäss der schweizerischen Pa­tentanmeldung 1303/88 vorgesehen. Der Sortierwagen 2 bzw. jeder Sortierwagen weist an einer Platte 11 einen oder mehrere Stössel 10 auf, die frontseitig mit einem Fach B, das über dem zu belegenden Fach A liegt, kurz vor dem Ein­legen der Druckplatte 1 verschwenkt wird. Hierbei stösst das Fach B mit an diesem angebrachten Distanzstücken 16 an einem Fach D an, das ebenfalls, aber um einen kleineren Winkel verschwenkt wird. Bei der in Fig. 4 gezeigten Ausführung werden die Druckplat­ten 1 in Fächer 56 eingelagert. Durch elektronisch gesteuerte Vorwahl wird für jede Druckplatte ein Fach 56 vorbestimmt. Die Elektronik erkennt freie Fächer 56 und ordnet die Druck­platten 1 diesen zu. Auf einem Bildschirm 57 ist sichtbar, in welchem der Fächer 56 sich welche Druckplatte 1 befindet. Dadurch ist es möglich, vor Beginn des Andruckes am jeweili­gen Falzapparat die Druckplatten 1 sortiert einzulagern.In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the printing plates 1 are stored in compartments 56. Wie die Fig. 4 zeigt, ist die Sortiereinrichtung mit drei Sortierwagen 70 bestückt, die an einer Führung 71 geführt sind und die jeweils fünzehn Fächer 56 bedienen. Die Sortier­wagen sind untereinander fest verbunden und haben einen fixen Abstand zueinander. Jeder Sortierwagen 70 ist mit einer Klappe 54 ausgerüstet, die in zwei Stellungen geschal­tet werden kann. In der Arbeitsstellung ist die Klappe 54 eingeschwenkt und hebt die ankommende Druckplatte 1 aus den Plattenhaltern 53, die mittels einer Transportvorrichtung 50 bewegt und an einer endlosen Antriebskette 72 angebracht sind. In der anderen Stellung ist die Klappe 54 ausge­schwenkt und lässt die Druckplatte 1 passieren. Dies ist dann der Fall, wenn einer der drei Sortierwagen 70 bei einem bereits belegten Fach 56 steht oder eine nicht identifizierte Druckplatte 1 in einen Ueberlaufbehälter 73 geleitet werden muss. Die Antriebsketten 72 laufen in Führungsschienen 51, die frontseitig Düsenöffnungen 52 besitzen. Durch einen Un­terdruck in den Führungsschienen 51 werden die Druckplatten 1 an die Schienen 51 gezogen und dadurch die Druckplatten 1 in vertikaler Lage gehalten. Da die Druckplatten 1 durch die gefalzten Ränder vergleichsweise steif sind, genügt ein geringer Druck auf die Druckplatten 1. Der Durchlauf einer Druckplatte 1 wird mit ein Spiegelband 74 aufweisenden Licht­schranken 75 erfasst. Mit weiteren Lichtschranken 76 und 77 wird der Einlauf der Druckplatten 1 in die Fächer 56 erkannt und wird festgestellt, welche Fächer 56 belegt bzw. frei sind.As shown in FIG. 4, the sorting device is equipped with three sorting trolleys 70 which are guided on a guide 71 and which operate fifteen compartments 56 in each case. Since the pressure plates 1 are comparatively stiff due to the folded edges, a slight pressure on the pressure plates 1 is sufficient. The passage of a pressure plate 1 is detected with light barriers 75 having a mirror band 74. With further light barriers 76 and 77, the entry of the printing plates 1 into the compartments 56 is recognized and it is determined which compartments 56 are occupied or free.

Sortiereinrichtung, insbesondere für einen Plat­tentransporteur, der Druckplatten, insbesondere flexible Druckplatten einem oder mehreren Falzapparaten einzeln zu­führt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an einem Gestell (30) mehrere Fächer (3,56) übereinander angeordnet sind, in denen jeweils wenigstens eine Druckplatte (1) ablegbar ist, dass vor den Aufnahmeöffnungen (31) der Fächer (3,56) eine Trans­portvorrichtung (6,24,50) angeordnet ist, mit der die Druck­platten (1) den Fächern (3) entlang bewegbar sind, dass wenig­stens ein zwischen den Fächern und der Transportvorrichtung angeordneter Sortierwagen (2,70) vorgesehen ist, der den Fächern (3,56) entlang steuerbar verfahrbar ist und der steuerbare Mittel (2′,54) aufweist, die eine abzulegende Druckplatte (1) von der Transportvorrichtung (6,50) in ein Fach (3,56) umlenken oder die Druckplatte (1) passieren las­sen.1.
