Definitions
- the invention relates to a drilling tool according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Drilling tools with interchangeable conveying coils are mainly used to produce breakthroughs using electrically or pneumatically driven rotary hammers.
- the carbide-tipped drill head is designed as a cross-drill head or solid drill head. Such tools are shown for example in DE-OS 26 39 310, DE-OS 30 44 757 or DE-OS 25 43 578 A1.
- the contact force generated by the support spring between the feed helix and the drill head depends on the load capacity of the plastic helix. If the contact pressure is set very high, an axial displacement of the feed screw and thus a separation of the form-fitting connection between the feed screw and the drill head only occurs when there is a very high load as a result of tilting or jamming. However, this can lead to premature destruction of the conveyor helix. Conversely, the contact pressure must be at least so great that there is always a good positive fit between the helix and the drill head to bridge the play for the helix.
- the object of the invention is to provide a drilling tool of the type described in the introduction to improve that the conveyor helix is exposed to lower forces during operation, so that the wear of the conveyor helix and thus the risk of breakage is reduced.
- the drilling tool according to the invention has the advantage over the known devices that the service life, in particular of a plastic conveying helix, can be increased considerably for certain purposes. According to the invention, it is provided for this that no otherwise conventional form-fitting connection between the conveyor helix and the drill head, but a frictional connection is used.
- the invention is based on the finding that it has proven to be harmless in practice if the conveying helix rotates slightly with respect to the drill head or the push-on shaft, even if it is easier to jam. This twisted position can generally not affect unimpeded removal of drilling dust, so that a positive connection between the helix and the drill head is not essential.
- the contact surface between the helix and the drill head can be flat, conical or curved.
- the latter has the advantage that a larger contact surface and thus a better frictional engagement is guaranteed.
- the contacting contact surfaces between the helix and the drill head are roughened.
- the roughening can e.g. B. be designed as a type of corrugation.
- the better frictional connection can take place by means of an additionally applied friction lining or an additional friction disk.
- the spring force of the support spring and thus the frictional engagement is adjustable. This can happen, for example, in that the support ring is adjustable in its axial position. Support springs of different hardness can also be used.
- the drilling tool 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a drill shaft 2 and a drill head 3 which, for. B. is designed as a cross drill bit, as is known for example from DE-OS 34 26 977.
- the attachable and exchangeable conveyor helix 4 is designed as a fully profiled plastic helix, d. H. the conveyor helix has its own drill helix profile. Such full plastic coils are known for example from DE 36 14 0010 A1.
- a wound conveying helix can also be used, provided that the same problem according to the invention occurs there.
- the feed spiral 4 is limited in the axial direction by the support spring 5 downwards, the support spring being supported on a support ring 6.
- the support ring 6 consists of a radially expandable, longitudinally slotted support sleeve 7, which can be snapped into a puncture groove in the drill shaft 2, the lower part of the support spring 5 enclosing an upper support sleeve region 7 'to block the radial expansion of the support sleeve.
- the support spring 5 has the same winding direction as the helix 4, so that there may be an additional funding effect for the drilling dust.
- the axial support of the conveyor spiral 4 takes place in its upper region 8 by means of a frictional connection on the contact surface 9.
- the left one is Half of the figures as a conical or frustoconical contact surface 9 'and the right figure representation as a flat contact surface 9 ⁇ shown in an alternative embodiment.
- the conical design of the contact surface 9 ' has the advantage of a larger connecting surface and thus an increased frictional engagement.
- This surface can also be curved.
- the mutual contact surfaces 9 between the helix 4 and the drill head 3 are expediently roughened.
- a type of corrugation 10 is indicated schematically in the left figure representation of FIG. 2.
- Another type of roughening can also be used to increase the friction torque, e.g. B. in the form of a glued or sprayed on friction lining or an additional friction disc.
- the support spring 5 presses the feed screw 4 with a certain pressing force 11 in the direction of the drill head 3. This results in a frictional connection between the feed screw 4 and the drill head 3 under normal load on the drilling tool, so that a secure rotation of the feed screw 4 on the drill shaft 2 is ensured.
- the contact force 11 can be changed by varying the spring hardness of the support spring 5. This would be e.g. B. guaranteed by an axial displacement or adjustability of the support ring 6 or by different strength springs 5.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht des erfindungsgemäßen Bohrwerkzeugs und
