Ein derartiger Spender ist aus der US-A-44 79 592 bekannt. Dabei hat die Innenhülse an der Oberseite des Spenders eine Stirnwand mit der Austrittsöffnung. Die das äußere Gehäuse überragende Stirnwand dient gleichzeitig auch als Betätigungselement. Durch Druck auf diese Stirnwand wird die Innenhülse dieses vorbekannten Spenders relativ zum Außengehäuse und zu dessen Boden hin verschoben. Dabei stützt die Spreizfeder mit ihrem inneren, bodenwärts gerichteten Randbereich den Kolben an der Hubstange ab. Die austrittsseitige Stirnwand bewegt sich somit gegen den Kolben, der sich aufgrund der Spreizfeder nicht mitbewegen kann. Dadurch wird die in der Innenhülse befindliche Füllung unter Druck gesetzt und aus der stirnseitigen Austrittsöffnung herausgedrängt. Die mittels der federnd abgespreizten Wandabschnitte 19 gegen die innere Umfangsfläche der Innenhülse 3 gedrückten Dichtungslippen oder dergleichen Vorsprünge 21 stützen den Kolben 4 während eines Spendevorganges widerhakenartig an der inneren Umfangsfläche der Innenhülse 3 ab. Somit wird praktisch ein Verschieben des Kolbens 4 durch die unter Druck gesetzte Füllung in Pfeilrichtung Pf 1 verhindert.

Da der die Aussparung 27 umgrenzende Randbereich der Ausbuchtung 26 an der Hubstange 9 angreift und die etwa kegelförmige Ausbuchtung 26 mit ihrem sich verjüngenden Endbereich zum Boden 16 des Spenders 1′ gerichtet ist, läßt sich der Kolben 4′ relativ zur Hubstange 9 nur in Pfeilrichtung Pf 2 bewegen.

Vor Gebrauch des Spenders 1′ wird beim Abheben der Kappe 29′ gleichzeitig auch die mit der Kappe lösbar verbundene Innenhülse teilweise aus dem Außengehäuse 2 herausgezogen und in ihre obere Ausgangsstellung bewegt, von der aus sie mit ihrer Stirnwand 5 während eines Spendevorganges in Pfeilrichtung Pf 1 gegen den sich dabei an der Hubstange 9 abstützenden Kolben 4′ bewegt werden kann.

Durch ein leichtes manuelles Hochziehen der Innenhülse 3 im Außengehäuse 2 kann der Spender 1′ in seine Entnahmestellung gebracht werden. Dadurch werden Funktionsstörungen durch den nachrückenden Kolben 4′ weitgehend vermieden. Durch den vergleichsweise großen Verstellweg seiner Innenhülse 3 im Aussengehäuse 2 kann die bei einem Spendevorgang jeweils entnommene Füllmenge auf ein gewünschtes Maß dosiert werden. Auch der Spender 1′ ist beim Herausdrücken des Füllmediums leicht zu bedienen, da der Benutzer keine Rückstellkraft beispielsweise einer Rückstellfeder zu überwinden hat. Darüber hinaus wird das Füllmedium auch auf dem kürzesten Weg durch den beispielsweise 10mm langen Austrittskanal der Austrittsöffnung 6 herausgedrückt, wodurch die leichte Bedienbarkeit des erfindungsgemäßen Spenders noch zusätzlich begünstigt wird. Da der Spender 1′, ebenso wie der in den Figuren 1 und 2 dargestellte Spender 1, in seinem oberen austrittsseitigen Bereich keine Fördermechanik oder dergleichen aufweist, kann auch dieser Raum mit als Vorratsraum für das Füllmedium genutzt werden.
Ebenso wie der Spender 1 kann auch der Spender 1′ von oben her befüllt und verschlossen werden. Dadurch wird weitgehend vermieden, daß sich Luftblasen zwischen dem Kolben 4′ und der Füllmasse bilden, die ansonsten zu Funktionsstörungen führen könnten.
Eine hier nicht dargestellte Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen Spenders sieht auch vor, daß als Betätigungselement und/oder Greifteil ein die Innenhülse überragender Vorsprung dient, der insbesondere gleichzeitig auch der Austrittskanal mit der Austrittsöffnung sein könnte. Bei einer solchen Ausführungsform muß die Innenhülse nicht notwendig in jeder Gebrauchsstellung des Spenders das Außengehäuse bereichsweise überragen.

An embodiment of the dispenser according to the invention, not shown here, also provides that a projection, which projects beyond the inner sleeve and serves as the actuating element and / or gripping part, which in particular could also be the outlet channel with the outlet opening. Claims (20)

  1. A dispenser (1) for pastes, creams or like media, particularly ones of high viscosity, including an outer housing (2), an inside sleeve (3) displaceably guided therein, as well as a piston (4, 4') movably arranged in the inside sleeve (3) and in cross section more or less filling the latter, by means of an expanding sprang (8, 8') said piston engaging with an interiorly arranged lift rod (9) in such a way that during the restoring movement of the inside sleeve said piston is capable of following the diminishing volume of the filling as the dispenser is gradually emptied and cannot move in the other direction, upon discharge and upon actuation of an actuating element provided on the inside sleeve (3) the one end wall of said inside sleeve being movable counter to the direction of movement of the piston (4,4'), exerting pressure on the filling and forcing the same out of an outlet opening (6), characterized in that the inside sleeve (3) itself directly carries the actuating element as well as a grip for manually applying a lifing force, pull or a like restoring force to the inside sleeve (3), that the actuating element as well as the grip project above the outside housing (2), that the piston (4, 4') has projections (21, 21') which under spring pressure are set against the internal circumferential surface of the inside sleeve (3) and support the piston thereagainst during the restoring movement of the inside sleeve (3), and that the dispenser (1) does not have a return spring.
  2. A dispenser as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the inside sleeve (3) projects above the outside housing (2) and in its projecting area the inside sleeve (3) is preferably integrally connected to the actuating element as well as to the grip.
  3. A dispenser as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the end wall (5) at the outlet end of the inside sleeve (3) serves as the actuating element, and the circumferential wall (10) zone forming part of said inside sleeve and projecting above the outside housing (2) and situated adjacent to the actuating element serves as the grip.
  4. A dispenser as claimed in any one or mote of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the end wall (5) of the inside sleeve (3) presenting the outlet opening (6) takes the form of a cover and is preferably adapted to be fitted undetachably to the circumferential wall (10) of said inside sleeve.
  5. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a ring groove (11) is provided in the outlet-end area of, and on the circumferential surface pointing inwards of, the circumferential wall (10), the end wall (5) in the form of a cover preferably being adapted to snap with a snap-in flange (12) into said ring groove.
  6. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the inside sleeve (3) has at its side opposite the outlet opening (6) a ring flange (13) which, in one end position of the axial path of displacement of said inside sleeve, is applied to a preferably approximately radial stop face (14) which belongs to the outside housing (2) and is arranged above said ring flange in the discharge direction.
  7. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that preferably equi-circumferential ribs or like sliding projections are provided between outside housing (2) and inside sleeve (3), on at least one of said parts of the dispenser.
  8. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the end face in the form of the bottom (16) of the outside housing (2) is preferably undetachably interlockable with the circumferential wall (17) of said outside housing.
  9. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the piston (4, 4') has sealing lips (21, 21') at the area bordering its piston skirt and turned towards and/or away from the filling, said sealing lips being set against the internal circumferential surface of the inside sleeve (3).
  10. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the preferably circumferential, ring-shaped sealing lips or like projections (21') have their free end zone pointing slantwise outwards and, in particular, tapered.
  11. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the piston (4, 4') has a guide bush (23) which is arranged particularly approximately centrally preferably on the piston head (22) side averted from the filling, and that a lift rod (9) movable relative to the piston and suitably fixed to the bottom (16) of the outside housing (2) traverses the guide bush (23) as well as an opening (24) of the piston head (22).
  12. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the piston (4, 4') is provided with a connecting sleeve (25) which surrounds the guide bush (23) at a distance, is preferably coaxially arranged and with an expanding spring (8, 8') acting on the lift rod (9) is movable relative to the lift rod (9) only in the discharge direction (Pf 2).
  13. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the sealing lip(s) or the like provided at the area (20') bordering the piston skirt and averted from the piston head (22) is (are) preferably spring urged, particularly by means of the expanding spring (8') also acting upon the lift rod (9), to apply pressure to the internal circumferential wall of the inside sleeve (3).
  14. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 13, characterized in that during the restoring movement of the inside sleeve (3), the piston (4, 4') is supported against the inside sleeve (3) by means of the tip(s), remote from the piston head (22), of the sealing lip(s) (21, 21') or the like.
  15. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the sealing lips or like projections (21) are provided at the free edge areas (20) of wall segments (19) springily spread apart outwards, and that preferably four such wall segments (19) essentially compose the piston skirt or outer circumferential surface of the piston (4).
  16. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 15, characterized in that a clip-on bead (35) is provided externally on the free end area of the connecting sleeve (25), and that the outer edge area of the expanding spring (8, 8') engages preferably form-lockingly behind the clip-on bead (35).
  17. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 16, characterized in that a cap (29') or like closure is adapted to be placed upon the end zone of the dispenser (1') presenting the outlet opening (6), and that in the closed position of the dispenser (1') the cap or the like locks, presses against or similarly engages with the inside sleeve in a detachable manner.
  18. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 17, characterized in that the cap (29') or the like has a receiving cavity (31) reduced towards the bottom (30) of the cap, and that in the closed position of the dispenser (1') the cap (29') or the like with the reduced area of the inner cap surface preferably detachably presses against the area (32) bordering the inside sleeve (3) and facing the outlet opening (6).
  19. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 18, characterized in that the outlet opening (6) is closed by a nipple (33) or like closure, and that a location (34) for rupturing, cutting or similarly opening the outlet is provided to remove the nipple (33) or the like before the first dispensing action.
  20. A dispenser as claimed in any one or more of claims 1 to 19, characterized in that a projection, preferably the discharge duct, projecting above the inside sleeve serves as the actuating element and/or grip.
