daß der Ring als Band (4, 5, 21, 22, 24) ausgebildet ist, die Halteelemente sich vom oberen Rand des Bandes (4, 5, 21, 22, 24) nach oben erstrecken und den Rand des Schmucksteins (18) umfassen, und das Band (4, 5, 21, 22, 24) zur Fixierung in der Trägeröffnung (33, 34, 35) nach außen und oben gebogene Haltezungen (12, 13, 14) auf­weist, wobei das Band (4, 5, 21, 22, 24), die sich vom oberen Rand des Bandes (4, 5, 21, 22, 24) erstreckenden, den Schmuckstein (18) umfassenden Halteelemente und die aus dem Band (4, 5 21, 22, 24) gebogenen Haltezungen (12, 13, 14) durch Ausstanzen aus einem Metallband gebildet sind, und der Schlitz (15) zur Ausbildung der festen Fas­sung beim Einschieben der Fassung in die Trägeröffnung (33, 34, 35) verkleinerbar ist.
