Description

The invention relates to a floor plate for raised floor systems with a plate core, on the underside of which is a metal plate, on the top of which there is a floor covering and on the peripheral edge of which a edge band is arranged.

Floor panels of the type mentioned are known from the German utility model G 85 02 109.

When using chipboard or plates made of mineral material such as The edge banding is only unsatisfactorily solved in plaster of Paris. In addition to poor adhesion of the edge band to the peripheral edge, the joint between the edge band and the floor covering is critical. Moisture penetrates into them over time, which can destroy the core.

The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a floor panel of the type mentioned, the edge band has an improved adhesion to the peripheral edge and in which the penetration of moisture in the area of the joint between the edge band and the flooring is avoided.

The object is achieved by a floor plate in which the circumferential edge is provided with at least one groove for receiving hot-melt adhesive, the metal plate has an upstand which encompasses the circumferential edge, extends to the lower edge of the groove and is flush with a first edge band, and a second edge band is arranged on the first edge band, which covers the groove and part of the upstand of the metal plate.

The first edge band can abut the underside of the floor covering, the second edge band preferably covers the edge of the bonding surface. ABS or PVC material that conducts electricity can be used as the edge band. To increase the flexural rigidity of the floor slab, a metal plate can be arranged between the floor covering and the slab core.

The invention has the advantage that the floor plate achieves the required bending stiffness even when using gypsum fibreboard or chipboard of poor quality. On the other hand, the edge banding can be processed on conventional edge banding machines.

The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of a drawing illustrating only one embodiment:

The floor plate, the plate core 5 made of wood or mineral material, such as fiber plaster, is reinforced on the underside with a metal pan 8 (steel, galvanized sheet steel or aluminum), the upstand 4 includes the circumferential edge of the plate core and up to a groove 9 extends. Furthermore, the upstand 4 is aligned with a first edge band 7. The groove 9 serves to receive adhesive 3, preferably hot-melt adhesive. On the first edge band 7, a second edge band 2 is arranged, which covers the groove 9 with the adhesive 3 and the edge part of the upstand 4. On the top of the plate core 5, a floor covering 1 is arranged, which can consist of metal, PVC, textile material, HPL material, linoleum, ceramic, natural stone, cork or parquet. When using non-metallic floor covering 1, it may be expedient to arrange a metallic sheet 6 between the floor covering and the core of the board. All conventional adhesives, in particular electrically conductive adhesives, are suitable as adhesives for the edge banding 2, 7, the floor covering and metal plates 6, 8. The first The edge band 7 abuts the sheet 6 or the floor covering 1 from below, while the second edge band 2 covers the edge of the floor covering and is flush with the top of the floor covering 1. In order to dissipate static charges on the floor covering 1 to the tub 8, the edge banding 2, 7 can be equipped to conduct electricity.
