Description

The present invention relates to a dispenser for granules, pills, tablets or similar products.

Certain pharmaceutical products and in particular homeopathic products made up of granules cannot preferably be touched with the hands and are sold in suitable containers fitted with a stopper in which the granules are collected so as to bring them to the mouth without touching them.

However, this method does not easily count the number of granules prescribed. On the other hand, following an awkward gesture, there is a risk of seeing all of the granules from the container escape.

The object of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks by presenting a dispenser making it possible to extract the prescribed number of granules, or similar products, from the container while preventing the granules, or similar products, from escaping freely.

Such distributors are known. GB Patent 1,385,900 describes three embodiments of a dispenser which has the disadvantage of requiring an intermediate container or an additional tool for catching the granules extracted from the dispenser and for bringing them to the mouth. The distributor described in US 3,O99,365 suffers from the same drawback.

The dispenser described in patent FR 77 2O996 does not have this drawback but is of a relatively complex construction since it is made up of three parts.

The dispenser described in European patent application O 155 711, describes such a dispenser whose container is extended by a cylindrical outlet duct made of eccentric resilient material, provided with longitudinal slots and a transverse stop, the cover being provided with two fingers which by the rotation of the cover, push the granule one towards the cylindrical conduit and the other of the cylindrical conduit out of this conduit into the cover.

The construction of this dispenser, while being simpler than the previous one retains the possibility of blocking, all the more so since the fingers of the cover constitute fragile parts of this dispenser, which no longer works as soon as one of these fingers is found. shortened by a fracture.

The invention further aims to provide a dispenser which not only works entirely reliably but which is also of simple construction.

To this end, the dispenser according to the invention, comprising or mounted on a container containing the products, is characterized in that the bottom comprises an axial cylindrical core delimiting with the external body of the dispenser an axial annular space, subdivided by means of resilient separation into sectors and partially closed by a disc constituting the end of the core, one of the sectors having an orifice connecting the annular space with the interior space of the container, and the other sector being below the part closed from the bottom while the disc below the other sector is provided with one or more orifice (s) which receive the said products by the rotation of the cover, provided with means for bringing these products from one sector to the another sector, at the level of the orifices and thus falling into the space of the cover.

Other details and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description which will be given below of a dispenser according to the invention, the annular space of which is only subdivided into two annular sectors. This description is given by way of example only and does not limit the invention. The reference notations refer to the appended figures.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of the dispenser according to the invention, with the cover partially removed.

Figure 2 is a longitudinal section, dd in Figures 3, of the dispenser according to the invention in reverse position with the cover placed on the dispenser.

Les figures 3a,b,c sont des coupes transversales du distributeur selon l'invention, respectivement selon les lignes aa, bb et cc de la figure 2.FIGS. 3a, b, c are cross sections of the dispenser according to the invention, respectively along the lines aa, bb and cc of FIG. 2.

The dispenser according to the invention is placed on a container (1), FIG. 2, which can contain the products (9) to be dispensed, such as granules, pills or tablets. For hygienic and filling reasons, this container (1) can consist of a small cylindrical tank (2), generally made of glass, introduced into the external body (3) of the dispenser through its open bottom (4) whose outline is provided with small projections (5) which prevent the reservoir (2) from escaping from the dispenser once this reservoir (2), filled with products, has been introduced into the dispenser.

Une fois que le distributeur est placé sur l'ouverture du récipient (1), figures 2dd et 3aa, cette ouverture est partiellement fermée par le fond (7) du corps (3) du distributeur, constitué par un noyau cylindrique (6) axial et un espace annulaire (10) partagé en secteurs, dont certains, les secteurs (15) sont ouverts vers le récipient, par l'orifice (8) tandis que le secteur (16), dans sa partie supérieure est plein et sert de raccord du noyau cylindrique (6) axial au corps (3) du distributeur, et dans sa partie inférieure est ouvert vers le couvercle (17), tandis que le noyau cylindrique (6) se termine par un disque (12) de diamêtre légèrement inférieur au diamêtre du cylindre (11) intérieur du corps (3) du distributeur, empêchant la chute des produits (9) de diamêtre moyen supérieur à l'espace laissé entre le cylindre intérieur (11) et le disque (12) en dehors de l'échancrure prévue dans le disque (12) en dessous du secteur (16) du fonds (7) du distributeur, constituant l'orifice (13) par lequel les produits (9) peuvent tomber dans l'espace (18) prévu à cet effet dans le couvercle (17).Once the dispenser is placed on the opening of the container (1), Figures 2dd and 3aa, this opening is partially closed by the bottom (7) of the body (3) of the dispenser, consisting of a cylindrical core (6) axial and an annular space (10) divided into sectors, some of which, the sectors (15) are open towards the container, through the orifice (8) while the sector (16), in its upper part is full and serves as a connection from the cylindrical core (6) axial to the body (3) of the distributor, and in its lower part is open towards the cover (17), while the cylindrical core (6) ends in a disc (12) of diameter slightly smaller than the diameter of the cylinder (11) inside the body (3) of the distributor, preventing the fall of products (9) of average diameter greater than the space left between the interior cylinder (11) and the disc (12) outside the notch provided in the disc (12) below the sector (16) of the fund (7) of the distributor, co nstituant the orifice (13) through which the products (9) can fall into the space (18) provided for this purpose in the cover (17).

Près du noyau cylindrique (6) sur le fond (7) sont fixés des doigts résilients (14) inclinables radialement, qui délimitent deux secteurs (15) et (16), dont le secteur (15) est situé entre les orifices (8) et le disque (12) et dont le secteur (16) est situé entre le fond (7) et l'orifice (13).Near the cylindrical core (6) on the bottom (7) are fixed resilient fingers (14) which can be tilted radially, which delimit two sectors (15) and (16), the sector (15) of which is situated between the orifices (8) and the disc (12) and whose sector (16) is located between the bottom (7) and the orifice (13).

Between the sectors (15) and (16) there is a passage whose dimensions are limited by the resilient fingers (14) and are smaller than those of the products (9). Thus, when the dispenser according to the invention is held upside down, the products (9) falling through the orifices (8) of the container (1) in the sector (15) cannot roll in the sector (16) .

The resilient fingers (14) have a triangular section, the base of which faces the central core (6) and the other two faces of which can be flat or rounded (FIGS. 3a, 3b). These resilient fingers (14) can be inclined radially under the action of an external force which can thus give free passage to dimensions larger than those of the products (9), which, in this case, pass from the sector (15) to the sector (16).

The dispenser according to the invention comprises a cover (17), provided with an interior space (18), and which can be placed on the exterior body (3) of the dispenser by covering the orifices (13). Thus, when the dispenser is held upside down, the products (9) falling through the orifices (13) of the sector (16), are received in the cover (17).

Then, the dispenser according to the invention is also provided with a rotor which can rotate in the annular space (1O). This rotor can be turned from the outside by the user of the dispenser. In a preferred embodiment, the rotor is part of the cover (17), Figures 1, 2, and consists of a cylindrical jacket (19) provided with several notches (2O) calibrated to the dimensions of the products (9). A circular notch (21) between the disc (12) and the external body (3) of the dispenser, allows the introduction of the cylindrical mantle (19) into the annular space when the cover (17) is placed in position on the external body (3) of the distributor. The resilient fingers (14) leave free a passage whose dimensions are always sufficient to allow the rotor to rotate in the annular space.

The disc (12) which is at the end of the axial cylindrical core (6) is of frustoconical shape so as to facilitate the rolling of the products (9) after their fall in the annular space (10), towards the notches ( 20) of the cover (17).

To extract a certain number of products (9) the user must hold the dispenser upside down and turn the cover (17). A product (9) falling through orifices (8) can fall into the annular space only when an empty notch (2O) of the rotor is below this product (9). The products (9) fallen into the notches (2O) are carried by the rotating rotor and transferred from the sector (15) to the sector (16) around the resilient fingers (14) inclined radially towards the cylindrical core (6) each time that 'a product (9) is pressed against their rounded side. Once arrived in the sector (16), the products (9) can fall from notches (2O) through the orifices (13) in the interior space of the cover (17). The user hears or, with a transparent cover (17), sees the products (9) falling into the cover, can count them and extract the desired number of products (9) from the container (1) by stopping turning the cover ( 17) and raising the cover (17) after waiting for the last product (9) to fall into the cover (17).

Instead of a cylindrical tank (2), the container (1) can also consist of a small bottle with a threaded neck which is screwed into a corresponding thread provided inside the external body (3) of the dispenser.

Although there is always a question of products in the preceding description, it is clear that the dispenser according to the invention can also be used to eject one by one round objects which would not necessarily be pharmaceutical products.
