Abstract

It is known to link handball goals (1) to extension arms which, in turn, are linked to a gymnasium wall so that, in conjunction with a cable drive acting on the goal frame, the handball goal (1) can be folded against the wall and, in this case, is situated at a height depending on the length of the extension arms. If the respective gymnasium is also used for football, the football goals (2) have to be set up and dismantled manually. By means of the device according to the invention, football goals (2) are linked via extension arms to receiving rails (14) which, in turn, are guided vertically in a slidable manner in guide rails (13) on the gymnasium wall. The football goal (2) can thus be stored at a height on the wall which allows the simultaneous storage of the handball goal (1). Both the handball goal (1) and the football goal (2) can be moved by means of special cable drives between a lower position, set up on the gymnasium floor, and an upper position situated on the wall. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a device according to the preambles of claims 1 and 2.

There are known handball and soccer goals for sports halls that can be fixed on the floor via pins. To use them, they must be taken from the appropriate storage rooms and placed in the designated places. Fetching and setting up the gates is often time-consuming and arduous and is often associated with risk of damage to the hall floor.

There are also handball goals are known, on the posts, namely at the upper area of which one end of a cantilever is articulated, the other end of which the hall wall is pivotally attached. Via a cable, the points of attack are placed on the crossbar of the handball goal, this can be folded by pivoting the boom on the hall wall, and at such a height that there is no risk of injury when using the sports hall. The handball goal is safely stored in this way and can be set up again in a very short time by simply swiveling the extension arm.

For example, DE-OS 26 50 2289 shows a single indoor handball goal, to the two upper ends of which a boom is articulated, the end of which is turned away from the goal in a vertically movable displacement device on a hall wall about a horizontal axis. Approximately in the central area of the crossbar of the door pull ropes engage, which interact with a manually operated winding device. By tightening the traction ropes, the above-mentioned gate, starting from its lower position standing on a hall floor, is first transferred to a position folded against the wall by pivoting about the horizontal axis of the said shifting devices and then moved upwards by vertical movement of the shifting devices parallel to the wall surface.

Since sports halls are increasingly being used not only for handball, but also for soccer, soccer goals still have the problem of often time-consuming and, due to the greater mass of these goals, also difficult setting them up and the associated problem of accommodating the soccer goals in special storage rooms.

It is therefore the object of the invention, devices to design the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the wall of, for example, a sports hall can be used in a simple manner for the simultaneous storage of both a football and a handball goal or a comparable flat object, which goals can be quickly and correctly and avoiding the risk of accidents between a lower, ie standing on the floor of the hall and an upper position, ie, folded against the wall, are movable. This object is achieved in a generic device by the features of the characterizing parts of claim 1 or claim 2.

Essential to the invention is the simultaneous storage of a handball goal and a soccer goal, thus two objects of different dimensions in width, on one and the same wall. Both gates can be stored on the wall at such a height, which excludes the risk of accidents for the users of the respective sports hall. Both gates can optionally be moved into a lower position, ie standing up on the hall floor, so that the usability in a sports hall either for handball or football, in particular with regard to the assembly and dismantling times of the corresponding gates, is considerably improved. In order to avoid the risk of collisions, but also to ensure that both gates are at the same distance from the hall wall in their lower position, certain movement sequences are provided, which are expressed in claims 1 and 2. These also aim to ensure that the gates are stored on the wall of the hall in a perfect, ie non-interfering, manner. According to the invention, these requirements are met in accordance with the characterizing part of claim 1 in that the arms of both gates are of equal length are, however, the boom of the relatively larger football goal on the wall are held vertically displaceable. As an alternative to this, however, according to the features of the characterizing part of claim 2, the arms of the handball goal and the soccer goal can also have different lengths, the heights of the articulation points of the arms on the hall wall being dimensioned such that in the lower position both goals in turn are at the same distance from each other exhibit the hall wall. In addition, by designing the drives of the cantilevers and the displacement devices required for the transfer movements as motor drives, with the main focus being on electromotive drives, the prerequisites are created for implementing safety functions by means of circuitry measures. According to the invention, the handball goal is articulated in the middle of the soccer goal on the hall wall, so that both goals can be accommodated in an arrangement that partially surrounds one another in the area of the hall wall. This has the advantage of the smallest possible storage space for the gates.

The features of claims 3 to 5 are directed to advantageous embodiments of the control of the movement sequences of the gates. These relate essentially to the electrical locking of individual movements depending on the current positions of the two gates in order to avoid the risk of accidents as a result of incorrect operation, for example the simultaneous lowering of both gates or the initiation of a lowering movement of one gate while the other gate is lowered at the same time. Due to the control assigned to the motor drive in connection with the structurally predetermined possible movement sequences of the swiveling movements of the individual gates creates the conditions for their faultless handling, which is particularly safe against incorrect operation. The control system, which interacts with position detection devices, ensures that the drives of the cantilevers and of the displacement devices can only be actuated in a predeterminable sequence and otherwise only in such a way that collisions of the gates are excluded. An accidental switching movement aimed at the lowering of one gate while the other gate is lowered is thus ineffective. The position detection devices, which are of any design, ensure that such signals describing the operating state of the entire device are always available in the control and can be used for the purpose of electrically locking individual switching functions.

The subject of the invention has been described above with regard to its use in handball and soccer goals. It can also be used on hockey goals. Other applications relate to billboards, warehouse shelves and stage conversion equipment. In the latter case, the device serves as an aid in the rapid conversion of scenery, but also in the appropriate design of different usable halls.

In particular, existing sports halls, which have previously only been used for indoor handball, can be easily retrofitted by the device according to the invention.

The levers 6 acting as spacers or cantilevers extend approximately horizontally in the user position of the handball goal 1 in the direction of the hall wall 4.

It can be seen that the handball goal 1 can be moved between the user position shown in solid lines in FIG. 3 and the storage position shown in broken lines by actuating the motor 11 by means of the cable winches 10 and the pull cables 9. During this movement, the levers 6 are moved about their articulation points 7, the articulation points 5 in turn describing the circular path 12 shown in dashed lines in FIG. 3.

With 13, two, in the drawing of FIG. 1 symmetrically located on both sides of the handball goal 1, fixed to the hall wall 4, vertically extending guide rails 13 are designated. In or on these guide rails 13, a receiving rail 14 is slidably guided in the direction of arrows 15. The mounting rails 14 are driven by a motor 16 which interacts with the mounting rails 14 via a cable winch 17 and pulling cables 18. The traction cables 18 are each guided over deflection rollers 19 fixedly attached to the hall wall 4. It can be seen that the actuating rails 15 can be moved in a straight line relative to the guide rails 13 by actuating the motor 16.

20 in turn denotes levers which are articulated at one end to an articulation point 21 located at the upper post area of the football goal 2 and at their respective other ends to an articulation point 22 attached to the mounting rail 14. The hinge point 22 is attached to the lower end of the receiving rail 14.

Motors or gears are indicated schematically at 23, which are attached to the mounting rails 14 and are equipped with cable pulls, the respective pulling cables at the points of attack 24 at the upper post area of the soccer goal 2 are attached.

It can be seen that by actuating the motors or the gear 23, the soccer goal can be moved between the storage position shown in solid lines in FIG. 2 and the storage position shown in dashed lines and the extended position shown in dashed lines, in which the levers 20 extend approximately horizontally. With this movement initiated by means of the motors or gears 23, the articulation points 21 are thus pivoted on circular arcs 25.

It can also be seen from the preceding illustration that the transfer of the soccer goal 2 from the storage position shown in solid lines in FIGS. 1 and 2 into a user position is carried out essentially by two successive movements. These are the initial pivoting movement of the levers 20 about the articulation points 22 initiated by corresponding actuation of the motors or gearbox 23 into the position shown in dashed lines in FIG. 2, and the subsequent lowering movement of the receiving rails 14 sliding in the guide rails 13 by corresponding actuation of the Motors 16 until the posts of the soccer goal 2 stand on the hall floor 3. It must of course be assumed here that the handball goal 1 located in the user position according to the drawing in FIG. 1 has previously been transferred to the corresponding upper storage position on the hall wall 4. The guide rails are dimensioned and arranged on the hall wall 4 in such a height position that both gates can be accommodated in an arrangement that partially surrounds one another in the area of the hall wall 4. Both gates are in their storage position on the hall wall at a height that excludes an accident source at least two meters above the hall floor.

Not shown in the drawing is an electrical control assigned to the motors 11, 16 and 23 and the switching devices serving to pivot the gates. The control mentioned is expediently such that certain switching operations are mutually electrically locked, so that the transfer of a gate into the user position is only possible after the other gate has been transferred to the storage position. The device according to the invention is accordingly equipped with corresponding limit switches or other position detection devices by means of which the operating state of the individual door, in particular its position, can be detected and implemented within the framework of the control mentioned, with the aim that only certain switching operations can be practically triggered:

In principle, the pivoting movement of the levers of the soccer goal 2 and the lowering movement of the mounting rails 14 can also take place simultaneously. This is always possible if the movement curve resulting from these combined movements is not affected by the handball goal 1 folded against the hall wall 4. Such a solution is advantageous since only one drive is required for the soccer goal.

The subject matter of the invention has been described above with reference to two gates which can be folded against a wall, in such a way that one gate is rotatably mounted on a displacement device and the other gate on the wall. In this case, the levers 6, 20 or extension arms can be of the same length. It is also possible according to the invention to dimension the arms of the two gates of different lengths, so that both gates are assigned fixed pivot points with respect to the wall, and that the different gates Heights whose storage positions on the wall can be achieved by the corresponding length of the boom. The drives to be assigned to the cantilevers can in principle be of any type, namely manual or motorized.

Claims (5)

1. A device for moving football goals (2) and handball goals (1) or other frames and equipment spanning substantial areas, the goals (1,2) being moved from a lower position on the floor away from a wall to an upper position located on the wall with the goal being articulated on at least one bracket which can simultaneously pivot around a horizontal axis on the said wall, characterised in that:

   - a football goal (2) together with a handball goal (1) is articulated to the wall, the handball goal (1) being positioned in fact in the middle of the football goal (2),

   - in the lower position the distances of the goals (1,2) from the wall are identical,

   - in each case the bracket(s) of the football goal (2) on the one hand and the bracket(s) of the handball goal (1) on the other hand are of identical lengths,

   - the bracket(s) of the football goal (2) at the wall side are accommodated in vertically slidably pivoted relocating devices,

   - the brackets as well as the relocating device(s) are dimensioned in such. a way that both goals can pivot at a defined height on the wall,

   - in each case motor drives are fitted to the brackets of the handball goal (1) and the football goal (2) as well as to the relocating device(s).
2. A device for moving football goals (2) and handball goals (1) or other frames and equipment spanning substantial areas, the goals (1,2) being moved between a lower position on the floor away from a wall to an upper position located on the wall with the goal being articulated on at least one bracket which can simultaneously pivot around a horizontal axis on the said wall, characterised in that:

   - a football goal (2) together with a handball goal (1) is articulated to the wall, the handball goal (1) being positioned in fact in the middle of the football goal (2),

   - in the lower position the distances of the goals (1,2) from the wall are identical,

   - in each case on the one hand the bracket(s) of the football goal (2) and the bracket(s) of the handball goal (1) are of different lengths and are articulated fixedly to the wall,

   - that the lengths of the brackets are dimensioned in such a way that both goals can pivot simultaneously in the position located on the wall and

   - that each bracket is fitted with a motor drive.
3. A device as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that a control device by which the rope drives of the brackets as well as of the relocating device(s) are connected together in a circuit in the sense that they can always only be activated in a predetermined sequence.
4. A device as claimed in claim 3, characterised in that the drive of the bracket of the handball goal (1) is operatively connected to the control device in the sense that from the circuit point of view it is not possible to move the handball goal (1) and the football goal (2) simultaneously into the lower position.
5. A device as claimed in claim 3 or 4, characterised in that the position sensing devices are on the one hand operatively connected to the goals (1,2) and on the other hand to the control device.
