Abstract

In the process described, the panel (1) consists of layers (3, 4) of which at least one (3) has been cross-sectionally weakened and bevelled and, after flexural distorsion, is joined to the other layer (4) by bonding and compression techniques. The cross-sectional weakening of at least one layer (3, 4) is produced by forming, by chip-removal, of grooves (5) parallel to one another; the intermediate parts (6) are, at the point where the panel (1) has to have weakened walls (2), bevelled by chip removal at a specified angle.

Description

The invention relates to methods for producing a hollow building board made of wood or wood substitutes, in which two originally full-walled part panels are fluted on one side, so that between standing webs trough-shaped depressions arise, after which the part panels glued to the end faces of the webs and with each other directed webs are pressed together.

Such hollow building boards are described in DE-C-30 44 039 and are essentially required for the production of doors.

The invention is based on the object of developing panels of different thicknesses which on the one hand can be produced in a process-favorably manner and on the other hand have high stability.

This object is achieved in that at least one partial plate is chamfered along at least one edge to the edge, so that webs of different heights are formed, after which the partial plate area weakened by the bevel is bent deformed against the webs of the opposing partial plate and the partial plates subsequently to Formation of a hollow building board with different thicknesses glued and pressed against each other.

Within the scope of the invention, numerous variants can be derived which result from the subclaims.

For example, it is possible to reduce the plate thickness over the entire plate circumference, or only a part thereof. If two adjoining plate sides are to be provided with such bevels, it is advisable in the sense of the invention to notch the webs in the region of the plate transition from normal to reduced plate thickness transversely to their longitudinal axis, or to break through in some other way. In this way it is possible to deform the layer (partial plate) provided with bevelled webs in such a way that in the corner region of the plate there is a kind of ridge between the differently inclined bevels of the plate.

In another expedient embodiment of the invention, it is provided that at least one pair of channels lying opposite in the hollow building board is milled out to the edge of the partial plates and a profile with an adapted cross section is inserted into this pair of channels and glued or pressed to the partial plates.

Such profiles can be used according to the subclaims for different purposes, for example for the purpose of reinforcing the plate or the formation of a fitting for a plug connection of adjacent plates, or to create a basis for the introduction of threaded holes and the like connecting means.

Such usable profiles can be formed from a wide variety of materials, for example metal, with light metal profiles being particularly recommended. But when it comes to firmly anchoring connecting elements, such as screws, it is advisable to place them in the channels To use profiles made of hardwood built up in layers, whereby such profiles do not necessarily have to penetrate the gutter, but only need to have short lengths in the area of the connection points.

In the example in FIG. (1), a partial cross section through a plate (1) is shown, which should have a bevel (2) on at least one side. The invention is based on the assumption that this plate (1) is formed from at least two layers (partial plates) (3, 4), of which the layer (3), which contains the bevel (2), is cross-sectionally weakened and along the base plane ( 8) is connected to the other layer (45). It is of course conceivable to provide the other layer (4) with such a bevel (2) or to form the plate (1) from several layers. It is essential here that the face which contains the bevel (2) is designed with a weakened cross-section and is therefore designed to be deformable.

In the example in FIG. (2) it is shown that the individual layer (3, 4) consists, for example, of a solid wooden plate, in particular chipboard, into which grooves (5) are formed by machining. The grooves 55) are preferably arranged parallel to one another. At least one of the partial plates (3, 4), in the example in FIG. (2) it is the partial plate (3), is machined along a milling plane (9). This processing has the consequence that the webs (6) along this milling plane (9) are shortened by machining.

If the surfaces of the partial plates (3, 4) facing one another are now provided with adhesive (7) and pressed together, the partial plates (3, 4) are shaped, for example in accordance with the shape according to FIG. (1). It is crucial here that the milling plane (9) according to FIG. (2) is brought into the basic plane (8) according to FIGS. (1) and (2) by deforming one or more of the partial plates (3, 4). It is easy to see that the partial plate (4) would also have to be deformed if it had a shortening of its webs (6) along a plane analogous to the milling plane (9).

In the examples of Figures (3) and (4) it is shown that the machined grooves (5) run out via fillets (11) into the base plane (8) according to FIGS. (1) and (2) and thus a solid frame area Form (10), which is arranged on the plate (1) all around. The partial panels (3, 4) are glued to one another in these frame areas (10) and are therefore designed to be solid.

But you can also design the channels (5) to the edge of the individual sub-plate (3,4) continuously, as shown in Fig. (4). Then there is only a partial connection of the frame areas (10), but this has the consequence that fittings can be used (see FIG. (11)) which are suitable for connecting adjacent panels (1) to one another.

In the embodiment of Figures (5) and (6) it is initially assumed that one part plate (4) is machined along the milling plane (9), while the other part plate (3) remains unprocessed. Both partial plates (3, 4) have of course been previously machined to form the channels (5).

In order to connect the webs (6) of these partial plates (3, 4) to one another, it is necessary to deform the partial plate (4) by bending. It is understood that the milling plane (9) must be placed so that the end faces of the webs (6) can come to rest flat against each other. The embodiment of Figures (5) and (6) shows that the plate (1) is flat in one surface and beveled in places on the other surface. The deformation is at the point where the bevel (2) begins. As a rule, a groove or groove (5) should be located at this point, so that only the residual wall thickness is affected by the deformation.

In the embodiment of Figures (7) and (8) it is shown how a plate (1) can be chamfered on both surfaces. This is achieved in that the webs (6) of both of the two partial plates (3, 4) are shortened along the two milling planes (9). Depending on the angle assigned to the individual milling plane (9), different inclinations of the bevels (2) can be achieved.

According to the embodiment shown in Figures (9) and (10), bevels can also be made around the corner of a plate (1). It is only necessary to provide the webs (6) with notches (13) or other grooves along the bending line, provided that the associated partial plate (4) has to be bent along these notches (13).

If two adjoining sides of a plate are deformed in this way, a symbolic edge (14) results, as shown in FIG. (10). In FIG. (10) it is also indicated by dash-dotted lines how the channels (5) are designed in this case. It goes without saying that the pressing of the partial plates (3, 4) is maintained until the adhesive between the webs (6) has come off.

In the example of FIG. (11), measures are shown as they appear to be suitable for use in the plate according to the invention. These measures are to be considered individually, although they are shown in a figure.

You can e.g. design the channel (5) of a partial plate (3, 4) in a cylindrical shape and thus use a tubular tubular profile (15) which can serve both as a stiffener and as a fitting. Instead of a tubular profile (15), a cylindrical solid profile can be used.

The profile can also be formed in the form of a rectangle (16) or a square (17). In the case of FIG. (11), the usability of a specially shaped profile, for example an I profile (18), is also shown.

diese vorgenannten Profile dienen im wesentlichen zur Versteifung der Platte (1) in Sinne einer Armierung.these aforementioned profiles essentially serve to stiffen the plate (1) in the sense of a reinforcement.

However, it is also possible to use profiles in the form of hardwoods (19) built up in layers, which are referred to, for example, as delignites (WZ). Such hardwoods are particularly suitable for forming the base for screw holes and the like connecting means. For this reason, such connecting means can also be dimensioned relatively short and arranged in such places where connecting measures have to be taken.
