Definitions
- the present invention relates to a storage container with a plurality of storage boxes arranged one above the other and connected to one another by a handlebar in such a way that an upper box can be brought at a distance from a lower one.
- Storage containers of this type are known, but they have the disadvantage, among other things, that the vertical distance between two adjacent boxes is too small for the convenient insertion of files. This is due, among other things, to the fact that the links connecting the adjacent boxes can twist until the bottom of the upper box rests on the upper edge of the lower box.
- the degree of torsion of the handlebars is therefore not limited and depends entirely on the dimensions of the boxes.
- the present invention was based on the object of avoiding this disadvantage and of creating a storage container in which the height of the insertion openings given up to now by the dimensions of boxes adjacent in the vertical direction can be freely chosen, completely unconcerned about this dimension.
- the storage container according to the illustrated embodiment has three storage boxes 1-3, boxes 1 and 2 being connected by links 4 and 5, boxes 2 and 3 being connected by links 6 and 7. With the handlebars 4 and 5, the box 2 can be lifted from the box 1 and by rotating the handlebars 6 and 7, the box 3 from the box 2.
- the lifting of the top box would be partially canceled if the handlebars of the top box could twist as desired under the effect of the weight of this box or the files contained therein, in such a case this twisting would continue until the lower edge of the upper container comes to rest on the upper edge of the lower container. This would reduce the opening between two adjacent containers (insertion opening), or the width of this slot would depend on the container dimensions, which is now to be avoided.
- the handlebars at their ends facing the relevant boxes with bearing blocks 4a-7a, respectively.
- 4b-7b which engage in the bent-over side edges 1a, 1b-3a, 3b of the boxes 1-3 and each have a free surface 8-11 and an adjoining boundary surface 12-15.
- the dimensions are chosen so that depending on the angle of rotation of the handlebars 4-7 these locking means, namely the locking edges 16 come into contact with the lower edge of the upper box or with the upper edge of the lower box at the same time, the respective locking edges parallel to each other lie so that they come to rest on the corresponding box edge at the same time. So if, starting from the basic position shown in Fig.
- the handlebars 4 and 5 are rotated counterclockwise until the Box 2 is lifted as far as box 1, as shown in the drawing in relation to boxes 2 and 3, so the locking edges 16 come to rest against the box edges 2a and 3a, whereby the upper box, in the illustrated embodiment box 3, is secured in its upper position, and a further, the insertion opening reducing further rotation is excluded.
- the box edges 1a, 1b-3a, 3b are made of resilient material, e.g. a suitable plastic. If, as is the case in the illustrated embodiment, the distance between the locking edge 16 formed by the intersection of a free surface 8-11 with the adjoining boundary surface 12-15 from the pivot point of the handlebar concerned is greater than the distance between the free surface 8-11 and the boundary surface 12-15, there is a kind of inhibition by which the respective handlebars are held in their upright position.
- a wart 17 is additionally placed on the locking edge 16 (there could also be several) to improve the escapement, through whose arrangement the transition from the open areas 8-11 to the boundary surfaces 12-15 is additionally underlined and one kind of closure effect results.
- a total of at least four or eight locking points formed in relation to the storage boxes 2 and 3 by the two links 6 and the two links 7 at the edges 2b, respectively. 3a at the same time a total of at least four or eight locking points formed. This results in a secure, easily releasable locking of the storage boxes. Due to the majority of the locking points, the deformation of the box edges is very low. This eliminates signs of fatigue and wear and tear on the plastic material used, which in turn has a favorable effect on the lifespan of the storage container.
- the arrangement described makes it possible to keep the insertion opening open between adjacent boxes in the vertical direction and to select them independently of the dimensions of the boxes in question.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a storage container with a plurality of storage boxes arranged one above the other and connected to one another by a handlebar in such a way that an upper box can be brought at a distance from a lower one.
Das Mass der Verdrehung der Lenker ist demzufolge nicht begrenzt und hängt vollständig von den Ausmassen der Kästen ab.Storage containers of this type are known, but they have the disadvantage, among other things, that the vertical distance between two adjacent boxes is too small for the convenient insertion of files. This is due, among other things, to the fact that the links connecting the adjacent boxes can twist until the bottom of the upper box rests on the upper edge of the lower box. The degree of torsion of the handlebars is therefore not limited and depends entirely on the dimensions of the boxes.
The present invention was based on the object of avoiding this disadvantage and of creating a storage container in which the height of the insertion openings given up to now by the dimensions of boxes adjacent in the vertical direction can be freely chosen, completely unconcerned about this dimension.
This object is achieved by the teaching according to the characterizing features of
- Fig. 1 eine schaubildliche Darstellung des Ablagebehälters,
- Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht des Ablagebehälters,
- Fig. 3 einen Schnitt nach der Linie III-III in Fig. 2,
- 1 is a diagrammatic representation of the storage container,
- 2 is a side view of the storage container,
- 3 shows a section along the line III-III in FIG. 2,
- Fig. 4 on an enlarged scale a section along the line IV-IV and
- Fig. 5 such along the line VV in Fig. 3, wherein in Fig. 5 the handlebar is shown in its pivoted position.
The storage container according to the illustrated embodiment has three storage boxes 1-3,
Lenker in ihrer aufrechten Stellung gehalten bleiben. In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the
In the embodiment shown, a
The arrangement described makes it possible to keep the insertion opening open between adjacent boxes in the vertical direction and to select them independently of the dimensions of the boxes in question.
