Description

The invention relates to a device for improving the closure between the shaft of a ski boot or an inner boot and the leg with a band fixed on the ski boot or on the inner boot, which surrounds the boot and the leg and can be closed in the manner of a belt.

Ski boots with a relatively hard shell usually have a soft-padded inner shoe and, due to the cushioning strength of such inner shoes, there is a certain mobility of the foot within the inner shoe. The shaft of a ski boot connected to a relatively rigid shell part is usually connected to the shell in an articulated manner for pivoting the leg into a template position, and the pivotability of the shaft relative to the shell can be limited by suitable damping stops. In view of the padded design of the inner shoe and the resulting mobility of the leg in the inner shoe, the tight closure of the leg on the inner shoe is not readily guaranteed, with the padding being compressed on one side in particular when the leg is pivoted in the direction of a template. As mentioned, the maximum pivoting of the shaft into a template position can be limited by stops on the shell and it is also customary in known shell ski boots to limit the maximum pivoting angle of the shaft relative to the shell to the rear. With such a limitation of the swivel movement, the material properties of the shaft also act as damping, since the support or limitation of the swivel angle does not take place near the upper end of the shaft but rather near the connection of the shaft to the shell.

The invention now aims to provide a device of the type mentioned, with which the tight closure of the inner shoe with respect to the foot is ensured in all pivoting positions and with which the possibility is optionally created to additionally damp the properties of the material of the shaft To limit the pivotability of the shaft without losing the tight seal of the leg with respect to the inner shoe. To achieve this object, the invention essentially consists in that the band has at least one coupling member for the optional fixing on the shaft or on the inner boot of the ski boot, the band being releasably connectable to a corresponding coupling member on the shaft or on the inner boot of the boot. While it was known with older inner shoes to ensure the tight closure of the leg relative to the inner shoe by means of a lacing on the instep, a band encompassing the inner shoe at the upper edge now allows the closure near the upper edge of the inner shoe to be ensured regardless of the compression of the padding of the inner shoe . In order to ensure correct positioning of the band encompassing the upper edge of the shoe in these cases, the coupling member on the inner shoe can be brought into operative connection with the corresponding coupling member of the band, a tight seal of the inner shoe with respect to the leg being ensured regardless of the pivoting position of the inner shoe . If, as provided in accordance with the invention, a coupling member can optionally be attached not only to the inner shoe but optionally also to the shaft, the band that in turn encompasses the inner shoe in a belt-like manner encompasses not only the inner shoe but also the rear part of the shaft, in this case the damping properties of the material of the shaft are effective in limiting the pivoting of the shaft into the original position. It can thus by exchanging the connection point of the tape by optionally setting the coupling member on Shaft or on the inner shoe not only the tight seal against the leg can be ensured, but the damping of the limitation of the pivoting of the shaft can also be changed by a suitable choice of the connection point.

Advantageously, the design according to the invention is such that the coupling members of push buttons, Velcro fasteners, openings and pins or the like. are formed, wherein the coupling members are preferably designed differently from one another for different fixing positions. For the secure fixing of the band on the shaft, in particular the outside of the shaft, the design can be made in a simple manner so that the coupling member for fixing on the outside of the shaft is formed by a pin which can be connected to the shaft and which extends into an opening of the band engages, in this context a different design of the coupling member for fixing to the liner is not least particularly important because pressure points in the interior of the shoe are avoided in this way. The fixing of the band on the inner shoe can be designed in a particularly simple manner as a Velcro fastener, the coupling members each being formed by interacting parts of a Velcro fastener, as a result of which a particularly flat construction and pressure-distributing coupling of the band to the inner shoe is achieved. When fixing on the outside of the shoe, a particularly secure and also large force-absorbing fixing on the upper can be achieved with a coupling member that deviates from such a Velcro fastener, in particular with the preferred pin. A push button can of course also be used on the outside as a coupling member. In order to ensure correct positioning of the closing elements for the belt in any coupling positions either on the shaft or on the liner, the design is advantageously made such that the on the shaft or on the liner firmly placed coupling members are each arranged approximately in the longitudinal center of the shoe at the rear end of the shaft or the liner outside.

In order to secure the coupling members against damage, the design can advantageously be made such that the pin of the shaft is overlapped by a bracket which can be releasably fixed to the shaft. In a particularly simple manner, as corresponds to a preferred embodiment, the pin can be formed in one piece with the bracket. The attachment or fixing of the bracket to the shaft can be achieved, for example, by angles engaging in slots, wherein the bracket can be inserted into the slots with elastic deformation.

By connecting the straps of two boots, a carrying device for the ski boots can also be formed in a simple manner.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. 1 shows a schematic side view of a shaft with the device according to the invention on the rear part of the shaft, FIG. 2 shows a section through the longitudinal central plane of the shaft in an enlarged view with a modified device, and FIG. 3 shows a portion of the band in a view of it Inside.

In the drawing, a ski boot 1 is shown, which has a shell 2 and a shaft consisting of two parts 3 and 4, the shaft part 3 provided in the rear area being foldable to the rear in the embodiment shown. An inner boot 5 is indicated schematically in the interior of the ski boot 1. The two shaft parts 3 and 4 are ver relative to the shell 2 about a pivot axis indicated by 15, which is arranged in the ankle area swiveling. As can clearly be seen from FIG. 1, the shaft part 4 facing the toe has a lower height than the rear part 3. In order to avoid gaping in the rear area when presenting, a band is on the outside of the shaft part 3 in the illustration according to FIG. 1 6 fixed, which encompasses the rear part 3 and the inner shoe 5 in its upper region. In a simple manner, the band 6 is fixed to the shaft part 3, for example by means of a Velcro fastener. In order to vary the length of the band, this has, for example, an eyelet 7, in which the band is deflected, a secure closure in the desired length being made possible by providing, for example, a Velcro fastener. A buckle 8 in the region of the shaft is indicated schematically in FIG. 1 as the closure of the ski boot.

In the illustration according to FIG. 2, the band 6 provided according to the invention is fixed on the shaft part 3. In this embodiment, the band 6 is fixed via a bracket 9, which engages via recesses 10 in the recesses 11 provided in the shaft part 3, the positioning of the band 6 via a pin 12 provided on the bracket 9, which is provided by an opening 13 provided in the band of the band 6 passes through.

The band 6 has the opening 13 for receiving the pin 12, the opening 13 being surrounded on the inside by a part of a Velcro fastener 14 which can be fixed on the outside of the inner shoe 5 with a correspondingly complementary part of the Velcro fastener.
