Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Entsorgung von Küchenabfällen. The invention relates to a method for the disposal of kitchen waste.

It is currently common to deliver food waste to pork fattening farms in a more or less fresh or spoiled state. The kitchen waste from jam, butter, quark and mugs, and in particular Coca Cola and beer cans, is separated and disposed of as normal garbage. This work is complex and is only reluctant to be carried out by those affected.

Plastikbechern unterschiedlicher Größe, Milchtüten, Coca Cola-Dosen aus Aluminium, Kondensmilchdosen aus Aluminium u.dergl..Feeding kitchen waste to eg pig fattening is problematic for hygienic and epidemic reasons. This also applies to disposal on normal rubbish dumps, since kitchen waste that is generated daily in large quantities in communal catering kitchens is not so-called household waste. The kitchen waste consists of food such as bread, sandwiches, potato peels, soups and sauces, apple sauce, whole lettuce sticks, leek sticks, meat or sausage leftovers, dessert leftovers and the like. and on the other hand from packaging, eg plastic cups of different sizes, milk cartons, Coca Cola cans made of aluminum, condensed milk cans made of aluminum and the like.

To dispose of kitchen waste, it has so far only been pressed into a "cake". This method is not a solution to the problems mentioned, because neither the "cake" thus produced nor the liquid squeezed out are sterile and enable problem-free disposal.

The invention has for its object to develop a suitable method for the disposal of kitchen waste.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the cake waste is first crushed, then heated to at least 100 ° C., then cooled to room temperature and finally fed to the waste incineration in a highly pasty to crumbly consistency.

According to the invention, the comminuted kitchen waste is at least pasteurized in order to make it durable for a certain time. If the heating is carried out in a pressure-resistant system, heating to over 100 ° C, e.g. to 125 ° C and thus sterilize the mass.

If desired, condensation can be condensed out of this moisture after the comminuted mass has been heated. The dehumidification process can take up to 30 minutes and take place under vacuum with the aid of a condenser and a vacuum pump. Depending on the composition of the waste, up to 40% of the original weight can be condensed out of the shredded mass.

In principle, it is possible to carry out the comminution and the thermal process in separate apparatus. In order to simplify handling and to shorten the preparation time, however, it is expedient if the mass begins to be heated as it is being comminuted.

Dabei laufen die Zerkleinerungswerkzeuge z.B. mit 1.500 oder 3.000 U/min um.The kitchen waste is preferably shredded with rotating shredding tools, e.g. Knives that cause a targeted circulation of the kitchen waste to be shredded. The shredding tools run e.g. at 1,500 or 3,000 rpm.

To support the size reduction process and to accelerate the heating of the mass, it is advantageous if the waste is circulated during the size reduction and during the entire heating phase. This additional circulation can be achieved by means of a transport wing which rotates considerably more slowly than the shredding tools and the waste to be shredded or the already shredded mass from the container wall to the center.

Since kitchen waste is not very compact and therefore takes up a high volume, it is advantageous for the implementation of the method according to the invention if, in a first shredding stage, only one half of the batch is shredded and then in a second shredding stage the second batch half is shredded into the pre-shredded mass is added. It is sufficient if in the first shredding stage the shredding tools run at around 3,000 rpm and for around 30 s. This results in such a high level of compaction of the waste or such a large volume reduction that the second batch half can be added after only about 1/2 min. In this way, the capacity of the apparatus used can be optimally used. It is useful if in the second shredding stage, the shredding tools run at about 3,000 rpm and for about 1 min.

To improve and, in particular, shorten the heating phase, it is expedient if, after the second size reduction stage has ended and the heating phase is still ongoing, the size reduction tools circulate briefly once or several times.

To heat the mass, the heat can be supplied directly and / or indirectly. Direct heat can be supplied by injecting steam into the mass to be heated. Due to the permanent circulation of this mass, the heat is given off to the mass completely evenly. In the case of direct heat supply, the second comminution stage, including the entire heating phase, takes up to about 6 minutes.

The heat can also be supplied indirectly, e.g. by electrical heat using heating mats, by hot water, by thermal oil and the like. . For this purpose, a bowl with a double jacket is preferably used to hold the waste to be shredded. In the case of indirect heat supply, the second crushing stage, including the entire heating phase, takes up to about 30 minutes.

In the method according to the invention, it is advantageous if the waste from food is shredded to a piece size of about 2-3 mm, and if the waste from packaging is shredded to a piece size of about 10 mm. It is possible to feed the kitchen waste from food separately from the kitchen waste from packaging. The advantage of the method according to the invention lies in the fact that such a separation is not necessary. During the heating phase, they take on piece sizes of about 2 to 3 mm shredded food waste has a musky consistency, while the packaging content is less than or equal to 10 mm.

After cooling to room temperature, the mass is in the form of a highly pasty to crumbly cake that is easy to handle, can be collected or temporarily stored for up to two weeks, if necessary, so that it can then be incinerated, e.g. via groupage. A volume reduction of up to eight times can be achieved by the preparation of the kitchen waste according to the invention.
