  • the hydrophobicity can be provided by an oleophilic portion of the molecule (e.g. and aromatic alkyl or aralkyl group; and oxypropylene unit or oxypropylene chain, or other oxyalkylene functional groups other than oxyethylene, e.g. tetramethylene oxide).
  • the hydrophilicity can be provided with oxyethylene units or chains or blocks and/or ester groups (e.g. organophosphate esters), salt-type groups, or salt-forming groups.

Thus, the presoak can comprise up to 15 wt-% enzyme if three different enzymes are utilized.

  • a preferred buffering agent comprises sodium bicarbonate.

Claims (3)

  1. Verfahren zum Abgeben eines funktionellen Materials aus einem Spender, bei dem Wasser auf einen in dem Spender enthaltenen Artikel gerichtet wird, um ein Konzentrat zu bilden und dieses Konzentrat auf den Ort der Verwendung gerichtet wird, wobei der Artikel folgende Bestandteile aufweist:
    a) einen versiegelten, wasserlöslichen Behälter; und
    b) eine für den institutionellen Bereich für mehrere Anwendungen reichende Menge von mindestens 200g einer pelletisierten, wasserlöslichen oder -dispergierbaren funktionellen Zusammensetzung, mit:
    (i) 5 - 90 Gew.-% eines Alkalimetallsilikats: und
    (ii) 1 - 90 Gew.-% eines Maskierungsmittels.
  2. Verfahren zur Freisetzung einer wässrigen alkalischen Waschchemikalie, wobei das Verfahren folgende Schritte umfasst:
    a) Einsetzen eines Artikels in eine Spendervorrichtung mit:
    (i) einem Behälter mit einer versiegelten, wasserlöslichen Folie; und
    (ii) einer für den institutionellen Bereich für mehrere Anwendungen reichende Menge von mindestens 200g einer pelletisierten wasserlöslichen oder -dispergierbaren Waschchemikalie, die ein Silikat, ein Alkalimetallhydroxid oder Mischungen daraus umfasst und in dem Behälter enthalten ist;
    b) Ausrichten von Wasser auf den im Spender enthaltenden Artikel, um die Folie zu öffnen und aufzulösen und einen Vorrat an einem alkalischen Waschkonzentrat zu bilden; und
    c) Herauslassen des Vorrats an dem alkalischen Waschkonzentrat aus dem Spender.
  3. Verfahren zum Abgeben mehrerer Volumen einer wässrigen Lösung aus einer Waschchemikalie von einem Spender, mit folgenden Schritten:
    a) Einsetzen eines eine Waschchemikalie enthaltenden versiegelten wasserlöslichen Artikels in den Spender;
    b) wiederholtes Ausrichten von Wasser auf einen in dem Spender enthaltenen Artikel in Verbindung mit einer Vorrichtung zur Überwachung der Konzentration, um auf diese Weise ein Konzentrat zu bilden; und
    c) wiederholte Abgabe des Konzentrates zu einem Ort der Verwendung, wobei der Artikel folgende Bestandteile aufweist:
    (i) einen versiegelten wasserlöslichen Behälter aus einer flexiblen Folie, und
    (ii) eine für den institutionellen Bereich für mehrere Anwendungen reichende Menge von mindestens 200g einer pelletisierten wasserlöslichen oder- dispergierbaren Waschchemikalie, die ein Silikat, ein Alkalimetallyhdroxid oder Mischungen daraus aufweist und in dem versiegelten wasserlöslichen Behälter aus einer flexiblen Folie enthalten ist.
