Infact, even to get in the point into the sand (which is the less compact soil), it is necessary to make the stick perform fatiguing conical rotating movements with a contemporary downward push. Furthermore, said rotating movement creates a cone-shaped a­rea of removed sand which, successively, offers little resi­stance and support to said stick.
  • the aim set forth is reached according to the present inven­tion by forming the lower pointed end of the stick like a screw in the shape of a cochlea, i.e. with a thread of a con­siderable height and with an acute angle generatrix, having its vertex on the circumference.
  • the diameter and the circumference of the cochlea or screw are slightly greater that the diameter and circumfe­rence of the stick so that the core of the cochlea is not too this with an eventual damage, when under stress, of said screw in the rotating penetration movement.
  • a hole is provided on the upper part of the sunshade stick, somewhat below the cap cavity in which the lower end of the upper part of the stick is housed, i.e. that part that carries the cloth sunshade; in that hole a corre­spondig piston-pin will be fitted that will allow to easily impart to the stick the rotating movement around its own axis necessary to make the screw point penetrate the soil.
  • a poligonal metal ring is provided on the upper part of the sunshade stick, nearby said cup cavity, on which metal ring a corresponding, double handle "key” is engaged which allows, like in the pre­cedent variant, to impart to the stick the rotating movement for the penetrating of the screw point in the soil.
  • the figures show a sunshade stick with an autopenetrating point for shores, meadows and generally non-rocky soils, mainly comprosing the point or end 1 of stick 2 being prov­ided with a helical screw thread 3 of acute triangular shape with the vertex on the circumference similar to a cochlea.

  • the shape and the dimension of the poligonal me­tal ring 13 are identical to the inner shape and dimension of a key 14 having two opposite operating arms 15.
  • the sunshade stick according to the present invention may easily penetrate a soil T, fitting in it ist point 11 and imparting to said stick a rotating movement by means of a key 14, making use of arms 15 of the same.
  • the present invention provides two latches 12' on the upper part of stick 2 for fixing arms 15 of operating key 14.
