Also of particular importance is the design of the break-off pins (30). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a device according to the preamble of patent claim 1. In addition, the invention relates to a method for precisely fitting driving in of stripping pins of a stripping tool.

In the production of folding boxes, mainly sheet material made of cardboard is processed. In the so-called sheet lay-out, one or more cut-outs or uses in the cardboard sheet or the like, depending on the sheet and folding box size. brought in. In any case, waste or pieces of waste are added to the benefit and separated from it by predetermined breaking lines. The aim is to arrange the benefits of spreading the sheets in such a way that as little waste as possible arises, which incidentally also arises differently with different benefits.

After the sheet is laid out, the sheet material is continuously punched and grooved in a flat punching machine, i.e. the fold, crease and predetermined breaking lines are introduced or embossed. The waste is then broken out with stripping tools that grip the waste pieces on both sides of the waste pieces with pressure elements, hold such a piece of waste in a clamped manner and pull it off from the plane of the sheet.

Such stripping tools are known for example from DE-B 1 085 759; the waste piece is pressed out of the cardboard sheet by a plate moved perpendicularly to it onto the head of a shaft which is resiliently mounted underneath and is thrown off by the latter. Such a device is relatively complicated and expensive, especially since a sheet design often requires the use of one hundred to two hundred individual stripping tools. In addition to this high capital tie-up, the fact that the setting of the stripping tools in a dressing table outside the machine performing the stripping process is extremely time-consuming is also disadvantageous.

Orders often return in the folding box industry, so that as many preparations as possible are left to avoid long makeready times. For this reason, breakout boards with hand-driven nails have long been used as a stripping tool for recurring jobs and the stripping bed is screwed to the upper tool frame of the machine. This is a very inaccurate method that leads to frequent malfunctions in the punching machine.

Die US-A-3 550 831 beschreibt einen Vorsatz für ein pneumatisches Druckelement, in dem einzelne Nägel, von denen mehrere in einem U-förmigen Tragstreifen aus Kunststoff hintereinander und in Abstand parallel zueinander angeordnet sind, beim Andrücken des Vorsatzes gegen ein Werkstück vom Tragstreifen gelöst und in eine Schlagbahn mit zylindrischem Mündungsende überführt werden.US-A-3 550 831 describes an attachment for a pneumatic pressure element in which individual nails, several of which are arranged one behind the other and spaced apart in parallel in a U-shaped support strip made of plastic, when pressing the attachment against a workpiece from the support strip solved and transferred into a stroke path with a cylindrical muzzle end.

In view of these circumstances, the inventor has set itself the goal of improving a device of the type described in the introduction and of ensuring simple and inexpensive breaking out with high operational reliability.

The teachings according to the independent patent claims lead to the solution of this task.

A stripping plate to be equipped with stripping pins is assigned a pressure element which is movable relative to or from the plate surface, and between this and the stripping plate there is provided a single detachable magazine device which carries detachable stripping pins and by means of which the stripping pin to be fixed on the stripping plate to be fitted can be transferred into the printing path of the pressure element is; either the - then container-shaped - magazine device and the pressure element as a guide device are assigned a guide or mouthpiece and the latter in the feed path of the Magazine container provided for its stripping pins with its receiving opening or the magazine device is assigned a guide device and can be pivoted out of the printing path determined by the printing element.

In the second-mentioned embodiment, this brings the stripping pins into the stroke of the piston, which detaches one stripping pin from the magazine belt and drives it into the stripping plate at a precisely predetermined location. During the striking or driving process, the magazine band is pivoted away from the piston. For this purpose, the piston or plunger can be automatically moved and with it the described parts of the device. According to the invention, the points to be approached are automatically controlled by a microprocessor.

According to a further feature of the invention, the magazine device or the band-like conveying member is guided in a rail system preferably made of two flanking rails and designed to be pivotable; the rail system is laterally guided away from the stripping pin for removal, the stripping pin passing through a rail gap. The magazine band made of elastic material is easily curved.

The magazine band, which is formed in particular from plastic, is equipped with lateral clamping members, each of which receives one of the stripping pins in the manner of a slotted sleeve, as described in more detail in the claims. For cost reasons, the magazine belt is divided into short sections for about five to ten stripping pins each, whereby the connection between two belt sections is made by a joint, the axis of which is formed by a stripping pin - after removal, the empty belt section falls off and no longer interferes with the movement of the entire system.

In addition to serving as hinge axes, the stripping pins also serve to drive the magazine belt; their shafts are carried along by the teeth of a drive gear.

According to the invention, during a first working stroke, the piston receives the shaft of the intermittently supplied stripping pin, which has been stopped at a stop, in a sleeve part of the piston rod and holds it - optionally supported by magnetic or spring forces - while the conveyor system consists of magazine belt and rail guide swings to the side. Then the piston automatically strikes the stripping pin into the stripping plate at a predetermined point.

The pen setting device according to the invention is screwed onto the support of an impression machine, for example according to DE-B-31 33 462, and thus forms a unit with the movable support. The stripping plate lies on the printing table. Separate machines are no longer required, compared to manual nailing there is greater accuracy with a faster manufacturing process. The pen setting device can also be provided on the support of a movable cross member that spans a simple table top; in contrast to the aforementioned attachment to that impression machine itself, however, it is necessary here to apply the contours of the sheet design to the stripping plate in order to define the blanks for the folding boxes and their waste pieces.

In this hand table, a jigsaw can then additionally be provided for making large recesses in the stripping plate, with which the known suction effect between the table top and the stripping plate can be counteracted.

According to the invention, the stripping pins are clamped in the magazine band at a distance and approximately parallel to one another and guided with the latter into the movement path of a piston, after which a stripping pin is detached from the magazine band with the piston and its tip is driven into the stripping plate running transversely to the direction of stroke of the piston. In addition, it has proven advantageous to move the piston parallel to its direction of impact and / or to have it driven to a point of impact by means of a microprocessor. If necessary, the piston is then transferred to the point of impact before the stripping pin is removed from the magazine belt.

Within the scope of the invention, a specially designed stripping pin can be used which, like that according to DE-C-1887, is provided with at least one axial pocket slot and these flanking anchor fingers, preferably with a pair of anchor fingers, which optionally offer cutting-like front edges. Such a stripping pin can easily be driven into the corresponding holding plate and then sits there in a reliable manner.

For this purpose, it has proven to be advantageous to provide the anchor fingers with clamp surfaces on the end edges that are inclined outward at an angle to the pin axis. In the case of inwardly inclined desk surfaces, the anchor fingers are pressed outwards when they are driven in, so that a V-shaped spreading end is formed, with outwardly inclined clamp surfaces, those anchor fingers overlap one another, with an additional, opposing inclination, directed transversely to the clamp surface, sliding past one another Anchor fingers favored.

According to a further feature of the invention, the leg surfaces of the anchor finger can preferably run at a distance from the shaft axis.

The nail or stripping pin according to the invention is generally a cylindrical metal body which is drilled at the end and then machined with a countersink. This is followed by a frontal slit. If, for example, this nail pin is driven into a wooden plate, the shape of the spreading surfaces, as described above, causes the anchor fingers to slide outwards, thus increasing their distance from one another. The material of the support plate flows between the two anchor fingers until it reaches the deepest part of the slot: this deepest part acts like a nail head.

In this hand table, a jigsaw can then additionally be provided for making large recesses in the stripping plate, with which the known suction effect between the table top and the stripping plate can be counteracted.

According to the invention, the stripping pins are clamped in magazine band at a distance and approximately parallel to one another and guided with the latter into the path of movement of a piston, after which a stripping pin is detached from the magazine band with the piston and its tip is driven into the stripping plate extending transversely to the direction of stroke of the piston. In addition, it has proven to be advantageous to move the piston parallel to its direction of impact and / or to have it guided to a point of impact by means of a microprocessor. If necessary, the piston is then transferred to the point of impact before the stripping pin is removed from the magazine belt.

Within the scope of the invention is a specially designed stripping pin for which protection is claimed independently; this stripping pin is provided with at least one essentially axial pocket slot and these flanking anchor fingers, preferably with a pair of anchor fingers, which optionally offer cutting-like end edges. Such a stripping pin can easily be driven into the corresponding holding plate and then sits there in a reliable manner.

For this purpose, it has proven to be advantageous to provide the anchor fingers with desk surfaces inclined inward at an angle to the pin axis. Instead, however, in other designs, outwardly inclined clamp surfaces can also be provided on the front edges. In the former case, the anchor fingers are pressed outwards when they are driven in, so that a V-shaped spreading end is formed, in the other case those anchor fingers overlap, with an additional, opposite tendency, directed transversely to the desk surface, promoting the sliding of the anchor fingers together.

According to further features of the invention, the cross section of the anchor finger is designed as a segment or as a sector of the shaft cross section, and the leg surfaces of the anchor finger can preferably run at a distance from the shaft axis.

The material of the support plate flows between the two anchor fingers until it reaches the deepest point of the slot; this deepest works like a nail head.

Of course, in the embodiment with the spreading surfaces it is also possible to form a cross-slot in the face of the metal body, so that four anchor fingers are formed; The number of anchor fingers is only limited by production.

In other applications, it may be desirable not to let the anchors spread outwards, for example in order not to enlarge the space occupied by the stripping pin. Here, according to the invention, instead of the spreading surfaces, so-called clamp surfaces are provided on the anchor fingers, which run opposite to the spreading surfaces, ie conically rising from a lateral surface to a longitudinal axis of the nail pin. This arrangement of clamp surfaces causes the anchor fingers to be moved towards one another, for example when they are hammered into a wooden support plate. In order to achieve such a clamping effect, the anchors should be able to slide past one another. This is guaranteed above all if they are designed as sectors. In any case, these clamp surfaces must be designed to run to one another. It is preferred if the anchors are arranged in opposite sectors of a quarter circle, so that there is enough room for movement between them and, in addition, a sufficiently large base area is formed which limits the penetration of the nail pin.

Einer der Zuschnitte oder Nutzen 12 ist in Fig. 2 besonders hervorgehoben, ebenfalls zwischen benachbarten Zuschnitten 12 verbleibende Abfallstücke 14.Fig. 1 shows a cardboard sheet 10, which has been provided in a flat punching machine with continuously punched or grooved blanks or panels 12 for the production of folding boxes not shown in the drawing. One of the blanks or benefits 12 is particularly emphasized in FIG. 2, waste pieces 14 also remaining between adjacent blanks 12.

From the flat punching machine, the cardboard sheet 10 reaches a holding board 16 of a stripping station 18; there, each piece of waste 14 is gripped by an upper stripping tool 22, held on frames in support rods 20, and a corresponding lower stripping tool 23 and broken out through a recess 17 in the holding board 16.

According to the invention, the waste pieces 14 are broken out by means of break-out pins 30, which according to FIG. 4 to 6 comprise a shaft 29, a radial collar 38 surrounding it and a pen tip 27 and are clipped into clamping members 32 of a magazine band 36 made of plastic; each clamping member 32 consists of two mutually curved gripping ribs 33, each of which abuts the shaft 29 of one of the break-out pins 30, and an associated stop lug 34 for a collar 28 of the break-out pin 30. 4, 5 are produced in inexpensive, short pieces, which are each provided with hinge parts that complement one another at both ends of the tape, namely with a central strip 38 running parallel to the strip edges 37 on one end and two flank strips 39 complementing the central strip to form the hinge body this and that median strip 38 are equipped with sections 33 a of a clamping member, one of the break-out pins as hinge axis 30 s can connect two of the magazine strips to one another (FIG. 6).

The magazine band 36 with its break-out pins 30 inserted in parallel at intervals e is wound on a drum (not shown) and is guided through a rail system 40. A toothed wheel 42 transports the magazine belt 36 - and thus the break-out pins 30 - intermittently into a working position up to a stop 43 at which the respective break-out pin 30 remains.

In this working position, a piston 44 receives the stripping pin 30 during a first downward movement with a sleeve part 45. The latter is now held with a magnet attached outside of the sleeve part 45 - for the sake of clarity 47 only indicated - or by a spring.

Now the entire system of the magazine band 36 swings to the side, the stop pin 30 passing through an opening 46 in the rail system 40 and being pulled out of the magazine band 36. The piston 44 now has the necessary freedom to carry out its working stroke and to drive the stripping pin 30 or its pin tip 27 into a stripping plate indicated at 50. The pieces of the magazine band 36 automatically fall into a compartment 48 after the hinge axis 30 s has been pulled out.

In the embodiment of FIG. 1O, the described pen setting device is accommodated in a simple steel engraving 6O. This carries a hand-displaceable traverse 62 with support 64 receiving the pen-setting device. For this purpose, it is necessary to apply the contours of the sheet design to the stripping plate 50, for example in accordance with FIG. 1. The steel table 60 can be arranged horizontally or inclined to it - this also results in a vertical or inclined lifting direction y of the piston 44.

The shaft 29 a of a stripping pin 30 a indicated in FIG. 11 consists of a metal body, for example circular in cross section, such as a wire section or bolt piece. From its free end, two prong-like extensions are formed as anchor fingers 52; a central slot 53 of width i - approximately one third of the shaft diameter d - separates the two cross-sectionally shaped anchor fingers 52 from one another.

By introducing a conical bore surface into the shaft 29 a - before its slitting - pulp surfaces 54 which are inclined inwards at an angle w are formed on the anchor fingers 52.

Beim Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 12 sind die Querschnitte der Ankerfinger 52i sektorförmig mit in Abstand i beidseits der Schaftachse A angeordneten Spitzen ihrer Schenkelflächen 55.In the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 12, the cross sections of the anchor fingers 52 i are sector-shaped with tips of their leg surfaces 55 arranged on both sides of the shaft axis A at a distance i.

If such a stripping pin 3O a is hammered into a stripping plate 50 or the like, the material of this stripping plate 5O penetrates along the desk surfaces 54 into the central slot 53 and drives the anchor fingers 52 outwards, as shown in FIG. 13.

This creates a barb-like anchoring of the stripping pin 3O a in the stripping plate 5O, which would be destroyed if the stripping pin 3O a was removed. When stripping pin 3O b of FIG. 14, the end faces 56 of the armature fingers 52 n inclined outwardly. While this stripping pin 30 a is being driven in , its anchor fingers 52 n - deforming in a bending manner - partially slide past one another according to FIG. 16; a kind of clamp is created within the plate material.

The end or clamp surfaces 56 are produced in a simple manner in that the corresponding metal body is conically turned, ground or milled at its tip. The metallic material is then lifted off between the two anchor fingers 52 n until the two sectors are formed in cross section.

The between the pairs of anchor fingers 52, 52 i , 52 n of a stripping pin 3O; 3O a ; 30 b remaining head surface 58 acts like a nail head with regard to the material of the stripping plate 50; if that head surface 58 hits the surface 51 of the stripping plate 5O, further penetration of the anchor fingers 52; 52 i ; 52 n into the stripping plate 5O is prevented or possible only under disproportionately high pressure with appropriate material compression.

In particular, the break-out pins 3O a and 3O b - but also other pin designs - can be driven in the striking direction y by a device shown in FIG. 18. In a mouthpiece or guide piece 70, which is bolt-like here, a recess 74 of semicircular cross-section and a length n is provided above a guide surface 72, the latter corresponding to the width b of a box-like pen magazine 76; this brings individual stripping pins 30 z onto the guide surface 72 and places the stripping pin 30 z resting in a receiving channel 73 in front of a guide channel 75. The conveying direction Z of the pin magazine 76 is perpendicular to the direction of impact of a piston 44, which is only indicated. This is not described in detail here, since this device corresponds to that of FIG. 6: the piston 44 drives - if necessary by means of a pressure neck 44 a - the superior Break-out pin 3O z in the direction of impact y from the mouthpiece 7O, the front stop piece of which is designated 68.
