Description

The present invention relates to reinforcing elements for creating reinforced concrete structures, in particular for creating connections to walls on floor-ceiling slabs and for connecting two walls, and for creating strip foundations.

Conventionally, such a reinforcement element is often formed on the building site at the place of installation and tied with special wires. This is extremely labor-intensive, but has the advantage that the reinforcement element can be easily adapted to the particular building-specific conditions. With the large number of different applications of reinforcement elements, prefabricated reinforcement elements must therefore be very carefully thought out. In spite of their predetermined shape, a reinforcement element should be able to be used in as many ways as possible.

A reinforcement element according to CH-A 642 131 is particularly suitable for creating walls from floor-to-ceiling slabs and for connecting two walls. This reinforcement element consists of a number of identical, hairpin-shaped brackets arranged parallel to one another. The brackets are inseparably connected to one another by at least three bars lying in two planes arranged at right angles to one another. This reinforcement element has proven itself many times. Depending on the thickness of the wall to be created and the required strength, differently dimensioned elements are required. This inevitably requires a relatively large inventory.

The aforementioned reinforcement element is only suitable to a limited extent for the creation of strip foundations. So far, people have managed to cut a strip out of a conventional reinforcement net. However, this leads to relatively large residues that can no longer be used.

If you consider the relatively small profit margin that exists with reinforcement elements, you can see that the space-saving and simple stacking of such elements must also be taken into account. With less favorable Stacking density not only increases storage costs, but also transportation costs.

It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide reinforcing elements of the type mentioned at the outset, which can be used in a variety of ways, manages with a smaller number of different dimensions and enables simple and dense stacking.

This multi-layered task is solved by a reinforcing element as described in the introduction with the features of the characterizing part of patent claim 1.

The reinforcing elements according to the invention consist of a large number of parallel bars that are bent at right angles so that they form brackets 1 two legs of different lengths. The shorter legs 2 run in one plane, while the longer legs 3 lie in a second plane running at right angles to them. The longer legs 3 are several times longer than the shorter legs 2. The lengths of the legs behave approximately as 1: 4 to 1: 8. An approximately usual length of the shorter legs is 19-23 cm. On the inside of the bracket, these are all connected to one another by means of rods. A rod 4 is welded onto the shorter legs 2 and runs approximately 5 cm from the bending point 5. This distance is chosen so that when two elements are put together, they can be pushed together to the thinnest wall thickness that is still usual.

Parallel to the rod 4, the longer legs 3 of the bracket 1 are connected to one another with a second rod 6. The distance of that bar 6 from the bending point 5 corresponds to the sum of the diameter of a bar, the brackets 1 are formed plus the diameter of the connecting rod 4. This, in turn, is important for the joining of two elements, as will be described. A second parallel connecting rod 7 on the long legs 3 is not important for the system according to the invention. It only serves to stiffen the element. Its distance to the bending point 5 is not determined. However, it is advantageous to weld it relatively close to the connecting rod 6 so that the ends of the long legs 3 remain as free as possible. To create a reinforcement cage, as is required, for example, for connecting a wall to a floor / ceiling slab, two reinforcement elements according to the invention are required. They can be put together in two different ways. The variant shown in FIG. 3 is used when a first element is already connected to the reinforcement. The reinforcement of the floor-ceiling slab, usually a simple reinforcement network, is not shown here.

The second reinforcement element can now be inserted exactly into the first element. Here, the short legs 2 of both elements are directed towards each other. The shorter legs 2 of the second element rest on the connecting rod 4 of the first element. At the same time, the ends of the shorter legs engage under the connecting rod 6 on the longer legs 3 of the first reinforcing element. So that the longer legs 3 of both elements come to lie approximately parallel, the distance of the connecting rod 6 to the bending point 5 of the bracket 1 must correspond as closely as possible to the sum of the diameter of a shorter leg 2 and the connecting rod 4. The diameter of the connecting rods is usually dimensioned smaller than the diameter of the rods from which the brackets 1 are bent.

In addition to the reason already mentioned for the installation position according to FIG. 3, it should also be noted that this type of combination of two elements is also suitable for extremely thin walls. The longer legs of both elements can be pushed against each other up to approximately the distance of the connecting rod 4 from the bending point 5, as is indicated by the arrow S.

In the second installation position as shown in Figure 4 the two elements can be put together before they are brought into the formwork. This is done as illustrated by the dash-lined intermediate layer in which one element is tilted slightly relative to the other and then passed through with the shorter leg of one element under the connecting rod 4 of the other element. Here, too, the two elements can be shifted towards each other and a wide range of different widths of around 9 - 27 cm can be achieved.

In this way of assembling, it proves advantageous that the shorter legs of both elements lie in one plane.

It is also advantageous that the reinforcement element is also suitable for reinforcing strip foundations. In contrast to the variants described above, it is not the shorter, but rather the longer legs 3 that are laid in a plane directed towards each other. The longer legs of one element are pushed under the connecting rods 6, 7 of the other element. Depending on the required width, the two elements can be pushed or pulled apart as required.

There is no need for a special explanation that these reinforcement elements can be stacked in an extremely tight package. It is not necessary for this to complicatedly nest the elements into one another.
