Description
The invention relates to a method and a device for fully automatic cleaning of paint or paint-soiled spray guns.
The cleaning of paint and paint spray guns is not only time-consuming because of the use of solvents, but also to a considerable extent hazardous to health. People who come into constant or frequent contact with solvents often suffer from more or less severe skin and other diseases, which often lead to disability.
The known cleaning liquids are not only harmful to health, but also to the environment, so that disposal is often problematic and requires considerable effort. Improper disposal does not negatively impact the environment.
From EP-A2 0 230 245 a device for cleaning spray guns has become known which has a trough into which an outlet for a cleaning liquid jet opens, under which the spray gun to be cleaned is to be held by hand in order to remove the paint adhering to it. and rinse off paint residues. The liquid loaded with paint residues is collected in the tub, withdrawn from it, clarified and returned to the circuit. The cleaning liquid consists of solvents, which is why a suction device for inevitably arising on the tub Fumes is provided. The channels and cavities in the interior of the spray gun are cleaned only by pouring a solvent into the paint cup, which is then driven by means of the compressed air for the purpose of flushing through the channels of the spray gun, the spray nozzle of the spray gun being attached to the mouthpiece of a suction device is held. It is readily apparent to any person skilled in the art that the previously known device is absolutely unsuitable for practice and is still hazardous to health and practically does not improve the cleaning method previously used.
The invention has for its object to propose a method according to which a quick and complete and largely automatic cleaning of paint or varnish-soiled spray guns can be achieved without using the usual specific solvents for paints and varnishes without fear of health damage and the environment is charged excessively. Furthermore, it was necessary to create a device which was particularly suitable for carrying out the method and which met all the requirements placed on it.
The aforementioned object is achieved according to the invention on the one hand by a method having the features specified in claim 1, and on the other hand by a device with the features of claim 5.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, in a first embodiment the device consists of a cabinet-
The
The cleaning effect can be improved if the
Above the
The
However, it is also possible to arrange the
During the cleaning process, the
Die Reinigung der farb- oder lackverschmutzten Spritzpistolen erfolgt in der nachstehend beschriebenen Weise:The spray guns, which are contaminated with paint or varnish, are cleaned as follows:
The spray guns to be cleaned are attached to the
If the
During the cleaning process, the cleaning liquid is constantly moved by means of the circulating
For the purpose of rinsing, the
For the definitive removal of the residual moisture still adhering to the spray guns, the spray guns can be placed in a drying chamber in order to expose them to a hot air stream, for example, in order to dry them.
All operations during the above-described method steps can preferably be controlled fully automatically by a control device arranged in the
Spülflüssigkeit und der Rückwand 41 des Gehäuses 11 ein Hohlraum 42 befindet, in welchem die Hubvorrichtung 43 mit ihrem Schlitten 44 längs der an der Rückwand 41 angebrachten Laufschiene 45 hin und her bewegbar ist.2 has in principle the same structure as that of FIG. 1, from which it differs essentially in that there is between the
15 sorgen. The
However, it is also possible to design the
In a further embodiment of the brackets for the
The cleaning or rinsing liquid system of the device is shown in FIG. 6, for example. The circuits for the cleaning liquid in the
The liquid in the
Since all cleaning takes place in a closed room, practically no substances penetrate into the environment. The cleaning effect achieved, as practice has shown, is extraordinarily large without the need to use a cleaning liquid containing solvent. The soiled objects are cleaned quickly and gently without the objects coming into contact with parts of the body of the persons involved in the cleaning.
To the extent that only one spray gun was mentioned above, this was done for the sake of simplicity of illustration. Of course, two or possibly three spray guns can also be treated simultaneously and in the same way as the one described.
Claims (15)
A method for fully automatic cleaning of paint or paint-soiled spray guns, characterized in that
