Motor vehicle radiator consisting of tubes and fins, the so-called radiator matrix (2), and also of an upper header tank and a bottom header tank (3, 4) and side components (1) on both sides of the radiator matrix (2) and between the header tanks (3, 4), the side components (1) each comprising an approximately U-shaped metal section, that is each having a flat base (5) and angled side walls (6) low in height, and the side elements (1) each being adapted to fit the radiator matrix (2) in such a manner that they enclose the full height of the lateral sections of the radiator matrix (2), and having means for attachment to the header tanks (3, 4) and means for attachment to various vehicle components, characterised in that the means for the attachment of the side components (1) to the upper header tank (3) are, on the one hand, designed in the form of bent tongues (9) arranged on the side component (1) and, on the other hand, in the form of a locking bar fastening (7, 8) arranged on the side component (1), the locking bar (7) of which fastening engages in the header tank (3) or in the tube plate (3') thereof and can be secured by fixing means, preferably riveting (17), that the means for the attachment of the side component (1) to the bottom header tank (4) are designed in the form of a bent end piece (10) on the side component (1) which is fitted into the bottom header tank (4) or into the tube plate (4') thereof, and that the side components (1) are provided with means for attachment to the radiator matrix (2).

Motor vehicle radiator according to Claim 1, characterised in that the means for attachment to the radiator matrix (2) are designed in the form of claws or tabs which engage in the lateral faces of the matrix (2) and which are pressed out of the inner side of the base (5), preferably by punching.
3. Motor vehicle radiator according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the means for securing different vehicle components are designed in the form of openings (16) in the base (5).
