Abstract

The method is used for producing a half-tube web from which fillable and closable bags can be produced. The half-tube web consists of a material which is capable of being adhesively bonded and/or sealed. In the region of the first of the two longitudinal outer edges (8) running in the direction of feeding of the half-tube web, at least one continuous strip (17) is fitted in each case to the top side and to the underside of the half-tube web in pockets which are continuously integrally formed on the web during its feeding, before the separation and filling and subsequent closing of the bags from the open, second longitudinal outer edge which is parallel to the first longitudinal outer edge. In this method, before the strips are fitted in the pockets, parts (12) of the half-tube web are punched out at an interval corresponding to one bag width in the region of the first longitudinal outer edge. After the continuous strips have been fitted, they are then separated in the region of the punched-out part and the two separated, adjacent ends of the top side and underside are interconnected without nodes (20). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a method for producing a half-tube web according to the preamble of the main claim.

In this known method, the semi-tubular web is produced and at the same time the tapes, cords, cords or the like are continuously attached in pockets on the top and bottom of the longitudinal outer edge. The individual bags are then sealed transversely to the feed direction, the bags being pulled apart in order to have the required amount of tape for the subsequent knotting process. Then the ends of the tape are knotted. The finished individual bags are then collected on holding tubes in the area of previously punched holes.

In the known methods, it is not possible to mechanically attach a cord of larger diameter. Such bags have to be made manually. In order to be able to use such bags that can be used for heavy goods, it is necessary to attach an additional handle in the form of a thicker plastic part in the region of the first longitudinal outer edge by welding.

A disadvantage of these known methods is the large amount of tape that is required for knotting. Furthermore, the procedure is due to the knotting slowly. Finally, it is necessary for the knot to make and separate the bags. Then manual gathering and plugging is required, quite apart from the fact that thick tapes can only be inserted manually, or instead a separate part must be welded in the area of the first longitudinal outer edge.

The invention has for its object to design a generic method so that a coherent semi-tubular web can be continuously obtained, the further processing of which is to be made possible by separating sealing and filling and closing the bag filled in this way in the region of the second longitudinal outer edge without having to after Separating the bags requires a knotting process. It should also be possible to process thick strips.

This object is achieved in a generic method according to the preamble of the main claim according to the invention by its characterizing features.

According to the invention, a separation of the tape in bag width and connection of the separated tapes is achieved without the need to separate the bags. As a result, the semi-tubular web can be stored in roll or zigzag form and is in this form for further processing at the manufacturer of the product which is to be packed in the bags. Furthermore, there is considerable material savings on the belt because this is only required in the exact width of the bag.

In an expedient embodiment of the invention, a separate punching can also be provided between two mutually adjacent punched-out parts, with the interruption of the first longitudinal outer edge, so that at this point the band can be pulled out for use as a carrying loop, which can be used to carry the bag in pairs or via the Shoulder allows.

  • Figur 1 die Herstellung der Halbschlauchbahn, in perspektivischer Darstellung;
  • Figur 2 die Halbschlauchbahn mit angebrachten Bän dern und ausgestanzten Teilen, in abgebrochener Darstellung;
A preferred embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. In this shows:
  • Figure 1 shows the production of the semi-tubular web, in a perspective view;
  • Figure 2 shows the semi-tubular web with attached bands and punched parts, in a broken view;
  • Figure 3 shows the process step of severing the strips, in a partially broken schematic perspective view and
  • Figure 4 connecting adjacent ends of the adjacent tapes.

In diesem Bereich sind einzelne Schweißpunkte (21) angebracht um die beiden Teile der Halbschlauchbahn aneinanderzuheften.FIG. 1 shows a deflection roller, generally designated 5, around which the semi-tubular web, generally designated 7, is guided in the feed direction 6. The semi-tubular web is provided with an inward running fold 9 on the first longitudinal outer edge 8. The other of the two second longitudinal outer edge 10 running parallel to the first runs on the open part of the half-tube web 7. In this area, individual welding spots (21) are attached in order to attach the two parts of the half-tube web together.

In a first work station, parts 12 of the semi-tubular web 7 are punched out in a semicircle at a distance of a bag width 11 (FIG. 2) together with separate rectangular punched-outs 13 in between such that the first longitudinal outer edge 8 is also interrupted.

After this first operation, which is not shown separately in the drawing, in the region of the first longitudinal outer edge 8 of the semi-tubular web 7, pockets 16 are formed on the upper side 14 and the lower side 15 (FIG. 3) formed as a result of the fold 9, with a continuous band 17 inserted therein, so that the Habschlauchbahn 7 shown in Figure 2 results. In a subsequent operation, the strips 17 are cut off in the area of the punched-out parts 12 (FIG. 3). In a subsequent operation, the two separated adjacent ends 18, 19 of the upper side 14 and the lower side 15 of the half-hose web 7 are then connected to one another without knots in that a plastic drop 20 is sprayed on.

Thereafter, the semi-tubular web 7 thus produced is continuously rolled up or zigzag-shaped placed in a container without separating the individual bags and this container or the roll is transported to the user, where the separation and filling of the separated bags from the side of the second longitudinal outer edge 10 on which the bag is still open.
