Description

The present invention relates to a device for tensioning a cable for tightening a ski boot comprising a base intended to be fixed to the boot and carrying a tensioning lever articulated on the base and having an anchoring for at least a cable.

Such a device is known for example from European patent application No. 0 230 063. When such a device is mounted on the side of the shoe, as described in the above-mentioned European patent, the tensioning lever is particularly bulky in the open position, since it moves laterally to the side, however, the skier, having tightly tightened his boot to have a good handling of the ski during the descent, generally feels the need to loosen the tightening of his boots when he is in the queue for a ski lift. To this end, it must raise the tensioning levers which then extend laterally and abut or catch on the shoes of neighboring skiers. Such snags can cause falls.

Le risque est également existant, bien que moins élevé, lorsque le levier-tendeur est monté à l'arrière de la chaussure et s'écarte de la chaussure dans un plan vertical, comme c'est le cas d'un grand nombre d'exécutions, par exemple les exécutions décrites dans les documents EP-A-0 114 209, FR-A-2 547 175, FR-A-2 559 358, FR-A-2 577 118, FR-A-2 450 575 et EP-A-0 188 818.The risk also exists, although less, when the tensioner lever is mounted at the rear of the shoe and moves away from the shoe in a vertical plane, as is the case with a large number of executions, for example the executions described in documents EP-A-0 114 209, FR-A-2 547 175, FR-A-2 559 358, FR-A-2 577 118, FR-A-2 450 575 and EP-A-0 188 818.

In the execution according to EP-A-0 188 818, raising the tensioning lever also results in total release of the foot which no longer allows normal walking.

The object of the present invention is to allow the tightening tension of the shoes to be released without raising the tensioning levers, that is to say without "unhooking the loops" from the shoes.

Le dispositif de tension selon l'invention est défini à la revendication 1.The tensioning device according to the invention is defined in claim 1.

According to one embodiment, the moving part consists of a slide actuated by an eccentric secured to the auxiliary lever rotatably mounted on the tensioning lever. To release the tightening tension, the tensioning lever is pivoted substantially parallel to the shoe so that it does not deviate from the latter. 10 mm cable relaxation. is generally sufficient to find acceptable comfort.

According to another embodiment, the auxiliary lever is articulated on the slide, parallel to the articulation axis of the tensioning lever and has an eccentric part which comes to bear against the end of the tensioning lever. In this embodiment the auxiliary lever moves away from the shoe in the relaxed position, but if the tensioning lever is slightly bent and its end located at the rear of the shoe and if the auxiliary lever is relatively short, this spacing does not is not annoying.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, two embodiments of the invention.

Figure 1 schematically shows a shoe equipped with a tensioning device according to a first embodiment with the auxiliary lever in the clamping position.

Figure 2 partially shows the same shoe with the auxiliary lever in the relaxed position.

La figure 3 représente partiellement la même chaussure, levier-tendeur ouvert.Figure 3 partially shows the same shoe, lever open.

La figure 4 représente le dispositif de tension seul en position ouverte et levier auxiliaire dans une position intermédiaire, des arrachements permettant de voir la construction du dispositif.FIG. 4 represents the tensioning device alone in the open position and the auxiliary lever in an intermediate position, cutouts making it possible to see the construction of the device.

La figure 5 représente le même dispositif de tension en position fermée et levier auxiliaire en position de serrage, des arrachements permettant de voir la construction du dispositif.FIG. 5 shows the same tensioning device in the closed position and the auxiliary lever in the clamping position, cutouts making it possible to see the construction of the device.

Figure 6 shows the essential components of the device separately.

Figure 7 is a rear view of the tensioning lever, without base or cable, in the clamping position.

Figure 8 is a view similar to Figure 7 with the auxiliary lever in the relaxed position.

Figure 9 is a partial view of a shoe equipped with a tensioning device according to a second embodiment shown in the tight position.

Figure 10 is a view similar to Figure 9 showing the auxiliary lever in the relaxed position.

La figure 11 représente le même dispositif de tension en position ouverte et levier auxiliaire en position de serrage.FIG. 11 shows the same tensioning device in the open position and the auxiliary lever in the clamping position.

La figure 12 représente séparément les pièces essentielles du dispositif selon la figure 11.FIG. 12 separately represents the essential parts of the device according to FIG. 11.

This shoe is therefore of the rear entry type and further comprises a inner liner 5. The two parts 2 and 3 of the upper are closed by a loop, not shown. The holding of the foot is ensured by a cable device such as for example described in patent application EP 0 230 063 and the two cables 6 and 7 are stretched by means of a tensioning device 8 mounted on the side of the shoe on the front half rod 2.

On the tensioning lever 9 is mounted an auxiliary relaxation lever 11 around a axis 12 substantially perpendicular to the plane of cables 6 and 7 and to the shoe. In the clamping position shown in 1, the auxiliary lever 11 extends parallel to the tensioning lever 9 and in the same direction as the latter relative to the articulation axis 13 of the tensioning lever. To move into the relaxed position, the auxiliary lever 11 should be pivoted about its axis 12 in the direction of the arrow. The auxiliary lever then comes to occupy the position shown in Figure 2. To return to the clamping position, the auxiliary lever 11 is returned to the position shown in Figure 1 by rotating it in the other direction (arrow in Figure 2) . The rotation of the auxiliary lever 11 is limited by a stop 14 formed on the tensioning lever 9.

Les tubes 18 et 19 pourraient également être montés sur des noix pivotantes comme dans la demande de brevet EP 0 230 063.Figures 3 and 4 show the tensioning lever 9 in the open position, in particular for putting on or taking off. The tensioner lever 9 has on its largest part an internal T profile 15 forming a slide for a slide 16 having a projecting part 17 constituting a bearing and anchoring stop for the heads of the cables 6 and 7. These heads cables are made up of two tubes 18 and 19, the inside of which is tapped and contains a threaded stud 20 fixed to the cable and screwed into the tapped tube. The cables 6 and 7 pass through the bearing part 17 of the slide by two slots 21 and 22 allowing the cable heads to be hooked on the slide 16. The tension of each of the cables is adjusted by turning the tubes 18 and 19 which for this purpose have a knurled or grooved end 23, respectively 24. The tubes 18 and 19 could also be mounted on pivoting nuts as in patent application EP 0 230 063.

The slider 16 has a transverse groove or slot 25 in which engages the crank pin 26 of an eccentric 27 whose axis 28, which passes through the lever 9, is fixed to the auxiliary relaxation lever 11 by means of a pin 29 The eccentric 27 is housed in a recess 30 of the tensioning lever 9 (FIG. 6).

Le rayon d'excentricité sera de préférence compris entre 5 et 8 mm.Figure 7 shows the position of the slide 16 and the crank pin 26 in the clamping position, while Figure 8 shows the same slide 16 in the relaxed position. The eccentricity radius will preferably be between 5 and 8 mm.

Autour de l'axe 32, le levier auxiliaire de relaxation 31 présente deux parties excentriques 35 et 36 venant s'appuyer contre l'extrémité 37 du levier-tendeur 9′.The slider 16 can be actuated in another way than that shown in FIGS. 1 to 8. FIGS. 9 to 12 illustrate, by way of example, another way of actuating the slider. In Figures 9 to 12, the parts similar to those of the first embodiment have been designated by the same references accompanied by a ′, so as to avoid repetition of the description of these parts. The relaxation lever here consists of a lever 31 articulated on the slide 16 ′ about an axis 32 parallel to the articulation axis 13 ′ of the tensioner lever 9 ′, between two arms 33 and 34 extending the slide 16 ′ beyond the tensioning lever 9 ′. Around the axis 32, the auxiliary relaxation lever 31 has two eccentric parts 35 and 36 which come to rest against the end 37 of the tensioning lever 9 ′.

Figure 9 shows the auxiliary lever 31 in the clamping position. In this position, the auxiliary lever 31 forms an elbow with the tensioning lever 9 ′ and follows the rounded shape of the rear half-rod 3 ′. To release the tension, simply lift the auxiliary lever 31 and rotate it towards the front of the shoe as shown in Figure 10. In this position, the auxiliary lever 31 only protrudes very slightly laterally relative to the shoe . The shoe can be tightened again by means of the auxiliary lever 31, without first opening the tensioning lever 9 ′. In the position shown in Figure 10, the tensioner lever 9 'is also very easily open. FIG. 11 shows the tensioning lever 9 ′ in the open position, the auxiliary lever 31 in the closed position, that is to say in the clamping position.

As a variant, the auxiliary relaxation lever 31 could be articulated on the tensioning lever 9 ′ and connected to the slide 16 ′ by a cable or a link. The auxiliary lever could for example be in the form of a U articulated around the same axis 13 as the tensioning lever.

In addition, the ends of the cables could be anchored directly in the slider 16 ′ and the tension could be adjusted by moving the slider 16 ′ and part of the tension lever 9 ′, for example by means of a screw driving a stop corresponding to the end 37.

US No 4 654 985The tensioning device according to the invention can be used on any type of shoe and in particular to a shoe of the type described in European Patent Application No. 0,229,405 or in U.S. Patent No. 4,654,985
