Die erfindungsgemäße Kühlstrecke besteht also gleichsam aus einem Kühlkarussell, das die mit den Bodenschweißnähten versehenen und von der Schlauchbahn abgetrennten Sackwerkstücke von der Schweiß- station auf einer Kreisbahn einer Einrichtung zur Übergabe der Sackwerkstücke an die Füllstation zuführt. Weist die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung vorzugsweise vier radiale Arme auf, befindet sich oberhalb der ersten Station eine Schweißeinrichtung sowie eine Schneideinrichtung. In jedem Takt zur Herstellung eines Sackes wird daher ein bereits mit einer Bodennaht versehener Sack von oben in das erste geöffnete Greiferpaar eingefahren und nach Vorzug über eine Sacklänge ergriffen und abgeschnitten. Claims (10)

  1. An apparatus for the manufacture of bags or sacks made of a tubular film web of a thermoplastic synthetic material preferably provided with side folds,
    with guide and drawing rollers, whereby the respective front end of the tubular film web provided with a bottom weld and freely suspended in the vertical direction can be intermittently pushed through by respectively one bag or sack length between welding jaws of a welding device which execute opening and closing movements in a horizontal plane, and
    with a transverse cutter device arranged beneath the welding jaws and with grippers provided beneath the latter in pairs on a conveyance device which pass the bags or sacks, separated from the tubular film web and provided with bottom welds, in a horizontal conveyance direction in a suspended state over a cooling path for the cooling of the bottom welds, to a delivery device carrying the bags or sacks to a filling station,
    characterized in that
    the conveyance device consists of a hub-type and intermittently driven carrying member (9) mounted for rotation on a vertical pin (8), with radial arms (9a), at the free ends of which provision is made for respectively two grippers (14, 15, 17), each of which forms together with the nearest gripper of the adjoining arms (9a) a gripper pair conveying one workpiece each.
  2. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the grippers (14, 15, 17) of a gripper pair holding one bag or sack are spaced at the same radial distances from the axis of rotation of the carrying member (9).
  3. An apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the arms (9a) are at their ends provided with carrying members (12) that have at their outer sides clamping jaws (17) cooperating with movable clamping jaws (15) which are secured on levers (14) mounted on the carrying members (12) for pivoting round vertical pins (13).
  4. An apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the movable clamping jaws (15) of each gripper pair are articulated to each other by a link rod (18) for executing synchronous opening and closing movements.
  5. An apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the gripper pairs respectively situated in the welding station and in the delivery station are opened and closed by a common actuating device (5, 5').
  6. An apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the gripper pairs situated in the welding station and delivery station lie next to each other and that the levers (14) carrying the movable clamping jaws (15) are loaded by springs (16) towards their closing position and carry sliding blocks or rollers (20), between which there can be inserted a wedge shaped expander (5') whose flanks form guides or cam curves for the sliding blocks or rollers (20).
  7. An apparatus according to claim 6, characterized in that the expander (5') is provided on a lever (5) which is pivotably mounted on a pin (21) fixed to the frame, by means of a pressure medium piston-cylinder unit or the like.
  8. An apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the lever (5) is provided with a guide roller (7) which, as the lever is swung out, runs into guide slots (22) of a plate (23) rigidly connected to the arms (9a).
  9. An apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the hub-type carrying member (9) is, for its drive, provided with a drive pulley over which there runs an endless belt (10), and that the gear motor (11) is arranged between the welding and delivery stations, with a drive pulley for the belt (10).
  10. An apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the hub-type carrying member carries four radial arms (9a) with four gripper pair in a cruciform formation.
