Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for applying floor cleaning and care products, in particular self-gloss emulsion, with the aid of a floor wiper fastened to a device handle, which during operation receives a mop cover or the like, with a storage container for a pipe on the device handle for the device cleaning or maintenance agent to be applied is attached, which has a drainage stop consisting of a hose integrated into the pipeline and to be kinked for blocking.
U-Schenkel ausgerichtet. Schließlich enthält die Vorrichtung einen Haftmagnetverschluß.A floor wiper used in the device itself is described in DE-OS 34 11 858. The known device consists of two frame parts to be folded against one another about a pivot axis and to be locked in their pivoting position with the aid of a locking device. One frame part has a T-shape, and the other frame part has a U-shape that essentially complements the T to form a rectangular plate. The pivot axis is aligned approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the T or U legs. Finally, the device contains a magnetic closure.
Another floor wiper is specified in DE-OS 34 32 685. This device also consists of a two pivotable relative to each other, to be locked by a magnetic lock Frame having frame parts. A pedal is attached to one frame part of the wiper device, which acts on the other frame part and can be moved in the separating direction of the two frame parts in order to release the magnetic closure more easily and thus to be able to open the wiper device more quickly.
With the help of the known devices, floor cleaning and care products, in particular self-gloss emulsions, can be applied relatively evenly. However, the supply of the treatment agents to be distributed on the floor with the wiper device is problematic. For example, emulsions or the like from canisters are poured onto the floor and distributed with the application device. This can result in different layer thicknesses of the applied films. Overdosing and underdosing can lead to streaking or blistering. Particularly when applying emulsions, the production of a second or third coating is problematic, because the distributed emulsion dissolves the first film and reworking is therefore only possible for a short time and with an extremely quick workflow. Finally, the used damp mop covers or the like generally bind an amount of 500 to 800 g of the treatment agent, which is thus removed from the actual use.
From US-A-2,768,401 a device for applying floor cleaning and care products, in particular self-gloss emulsion, according to the preamble of
The invention has for its object to improve the storage container so that it is constantly ready to receive new treatment agent, but at the same time prevents the treatment agent from leaking during wiping.
In a device of the type mentioned in the introduction, this object is achieved in accordance with the invention in that the storage container has a filling funnel which is designed as a backstop and is always open. Because of the weight to be moved during handling, a storage container with a volume on the order of two liters is preferred.
The invention provides an application device which is equipped with a storage container with a funnel-shaped insertion aid, which also forms a spout block, with a metering valve or the like and with an ergonomically favorable and trouble-free container closure. This ensures that the treatment agent is controlled to the extent desired by the operator and adapted to the requirement of the treatment area to be applied to the floor. The container carried has an always open hopper, so it can be refilled without difficulty, preferably by hand, so that it is sufficient to carry a relatively small amount of treatment agent. Since there is sufficient fresh treatment agent available in every position of the floor wiper, the mop cover can be dimensioned for a minimal treatment agent intake, so that the corresponding loss is also minimal.
The hopper of the storage container should be geometrically shaped so that it represents a closure against leakage of the treatment agent and at the same time a ventilation opening. The hopper should therefore be formed in one piece so that it forms a tight seal against the escape of treatment agents even when the device or its handle is pivoted, but is always ready to receive new treatment agents.
The container according to the invention can, for example, be clamped or bounced onto the handle of a known floor mopping device with the aid of a groove which is recessed or molded in at the rear. It is then expedient to provide a hose olive at the lowest point of the storage container during operation and to connect it to an outlet pipe directed towards the floor via an elastic hose, in particular silicone.
Since it is difficult for some floor treatment agents to construct a valve that is always functional, the valve function of a kink in the connecting hose is exploited. The kink can be actuated by the handle of the device handle, for example with the help of a Bowden cable. The Bowden cable or the like is preferably pretensioned in such a way that a kink provided in the elastic hose normally precludes the flow of treatment agent. The operator can then control the flow of treatment agent according to the particular need by more or less stretching the kink, in particular by selecting the tension generated by the Bowden cable.
Weitere Merkmale der Erfindung sind Gegensband der Ansprüche 5 bis 10.Further features of the invention are the counter-band of

The device according to the invention according to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a floor wiper designated overall by 1, an associated
The storage container, designated as a whole by 3, can be clamped or bruised by means of a
In the exemplary embodiment, the liquid outflow from the
According to the exemplary embodiment, the
In order to be able to control the closing or opening of the container outlet designed as a
