Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method according to the preamble of claim 1 and a household dishwasher for performing this method.
In the known household dishwashers, programs can be selected via a program control device, which programs can be composed of a pre-rinse cycle, cleaning cycle, intermediate rinse cycle, rinse cycle and drying cycle. During the pre-rinsing, about six to ten liters of fresh water flow into the rinsing tank Circulation pump and sprayed onto the dishes and then pumped out with the loosened food residues after some time. After the pre-rinsing, which can also be hidden, cleaning follows, consisting of the fresh water supply of about six to ten liters of cold water, heating to 55 or 65 ° C and addition of a cleaning agent, circulation of the cleaning liquid and preferably gradual pumping out of part of the cleaning liquid and replacement with cold water, which gradually cools the hot liquor and avoids temperature stress in the dishes. At the end of the cleaning cycle, the lye is pumped out. After emptying the rinsing container, the intermediate rinsing begins, with cold water in several steps, each consisting of a water inlet of about five to ten liters of fresh water, circulating and pumping, rinsing the loosened dirt particles from the dishes and pumping them out with the water. At the beginning of the rinse cycle that follows after the intermediate rinse cycles, a fresh water quantity of about five to ten liters flows back into the rinse container, to which a rinse aid is added. The fresh water mixed with the rinse aid is heated to about 65 to 75 ° C and circulated. Then the pumping takes place and drying begins due to the inherent heat of the dishes and, if necessary, the additional radiant heat of an electric heater.
In order to clean heavily soiled cookware such as pots and pans in a household dishwasher, it is known to expose the cookware to the action of a solution of a detergent in water with a concentration of at least about 2.65 grams per liter at about 80 ° C and one Suspend maximum value of about 99 ° C for a period of about 75 minutes to about 180 minutes, the dishes being rinsed with water heated to a temperature of about 93 ° C (DE-OS 21 17 082). However, the use of this energy-intensive long-term process is only possible if the crockery baskets are only loaded with insensitive cookware. Cookware in an amount sufficient to economically load a dishwasher is generally not available in the average household within a limited period of time.
It is also known in a method for cleaning dishes (DE-OS 33 30 537) that the sub-program pre-rinse can be supplemented or replaced by a sub-program pre-cleaning for cookware, pots or the like, this sub-program pre-cleaning from a water supply step for two to five liters Water, a heating step to 30 ° C to 60 ° C, a cleaning agent addition and a circulation of the rinsing liquid by means of the spray device assigned to the cookware, driven at a reduced speed, which has nozzles spraying against the cookware with increased spray pressure, some of which in the other program steps or are completely closable.
AS 12 26 248).To disinfect the dishes in dishwashers for hospitals, it is finally known in these commercial machines to use hot steam for disinfecting (DE-AS 12 26 248).
The invention has for its object to improve the known methods for cleaning heavily soiled dishes in household dishwashers.
This object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing features of patent claim 1 or claims 2 or 3.
According to the cleaning method according to the invention, no mechanical aids need to be used for cleaning the dishes. In addition to the usual detergent and rinse aid, it is also possible to dispense with environmentally harmful chemical detergent additives. It is particularly advantageous if a special storage surface for the heavily soiled saucepans is provided in the lower crockery basket. The pots placed with the opening facing downwards are then subjected to water vapor from separate nozzles without the remaining, possibly finer dishes being treated disadvantageously. As a result, the dried-on food remnants are softened and can then be removed in the subsequent washing program.
