- un levier de commande (30) du percuteur, en appui sur l'extremité de la tige (14) ou solidaire de celle-ci, dont la position permet de vérifier si l'opercule (18) de la cartouche en place dans le système est vierge ;
- un mécanisme utilisant une énergie intrinsèque, tel un ressort agissant sur la tige (14) ou le levier de commande, tel que :
. la pointe (16) soit en contact permanent avec l'opercule (18) de la cartouche, s'il existe, le levier (30) indiquant alors que le système est en position d'attente ;
et que :
. la pointe (16) n'étant plus soutenue par un opercule, le levier de commande (30) soit dans une position telle que le système ne semble plus être en position d'attente ;
- un dispositif d'arrêt de la tige (14) ou du levier (30), débrayable, venant annuler l'effort de poussée des gaz libérés par la perforation de l'opercule (18) sur la tige (14).
