Abstract

The present invention relates to a net anchoring means for anchoring of a reinforcing net outside an insulation layer which is secured for instance to a wall by means of a mounting means, for instance a collar sleeve (1; 3). The net anchoring means is introduced through a bore of the collar (3) of the mounting means (1; 3) and is prevented from being retracted in that hooks or nobbies (8) of the anchoring menas (6) engage the bore edge at the inner side of the collar (3). The anchoring means (6) also is formed with a through bore so that plaster can enter said bore thereby preventing the hooks or nobbies (8) from becoming released from the said bore edges.

Description

  • The present invention relates to a net anchoring means intended to anchor a reinforcing net or a similar object outside an insulation layer which is secured for instance to a wall by means of a mounting means, for instance a collar sleeve, whereby the net anchoring means is introduced through a bore of the collar of the mounting means and is prevented from being retracted by means of hooks or nabbies which are supported round the bore edge at the inner surface of the collar.
  • When constructing new buildings having an extra insulation it is often desirous to apply a layer of plaster on top of the insulation layer, for instance a layer of mineral wool. It is necessary to reinfoce such a layer of plaster and this is mostly made by means of a reinforcing net of reinforcing mesh which thereby has be secured to the base wall. This is preferably made by utilizing the same mounting means as used for holding the insulation layer. An especially suitable mounting means is a so called collar sleeve according to Swedish patent application nr 8600388-6. Said mounting means is formed with a collar on a pin which is, in turn, secured in the wall.
  • The reinforcing net is thereby anchored by means of a so called net or mesh anchoring means having hooks or nobbies distributed round the bore edge of the collar of the mounting means, so that each mesh anchoring means anchors a wire of the reinforcing net or, in special cases, two or more crossing wires.
  • Different possibilites have been comtemplated for the purpose of reducing the number of anchoring points. In this connection the present invention has been developped as a means for obtaining anchoring forces of a magnitude which have so far not been able to obtain.
  • The invention relates to a net or a mesh anchoring means having inwarly to the base wall facing hooks or nobbies and a through bore, so that plaster can enter the anchoring means when applying the plaster, and so that the plaster, after having become hardened, prevents the hooks or nobbies of the anchoring means from becoming pressed together thereby making it possible to disconnect the anchoring means. The bore of the anchoring means must have a minimum diameter. Preferably the bore is conical so that the bore is wider at the outer end than at the inner end. At least a third of the length of the bore ought to be conical.
  • The achoring means for the reinforcing net or mesh is most preferable if it is dimensioned so that the body of the anchoring means can be moved through a mesh of the net whereas the head of the anchoring means has a diameter which is greater than the mesh width. In such case the load in the direction outwards from the base wall is symmetrical, and the necessary force for retracting the anchoring means is still higher.
  • The reinforcing net is anchored by means of the net anchoring means so that the net anchoring means is holding a wire of the reinforcing net, in other words so that the anchoring means is straddling over a wire of the net. The net anchoring means also can be placed so that the head of the anchoring means covers all four wires of a net mesh, which wires are parallel in pairs.
  • The very best result is obtained if the net anchoring means is introduced in the centre of the collar sleeve.
  • In the following the invention is to be explained with reference to six different figures. Figure 1 is a cross section view through a net anchoring means according to the invention, and figure 2 shows the same anchoring means from outside. Figure 3 shows a modified embodiment of the anchoring means according to figure 1, and figure 4 shows the same anchoring means from outside. Figure 5 shows another modified embodiment of the anchoring means of figure 1, and figure 6 shows the same anchoring means from outside.
    • Figure 1 shows the pin 1 of a collar sleeve introduced through a layer 2 of insulating material, which is maintained by the collar 3 of the collar sleeve. Wings 4 are formed between the pin 1 and the collar 3, which wings are intended to allow a certain angular dispacement of the collar 3 in relation to the pin 1. Outside the collar 3 there is a reinforcing net 5 which is kept in contact with the collar 3 by means of a net anchoring means 6, or more exactly by the head 7 of the anchoring means 6. The net anchoring means is formed with hooks 8 which hold the the net anchoring means 6 and thereby the reinforcing net 5 in contact with the collar 3 after the the net anchoring means has been introduced through the bore of the collar 3. Plaster applied to the net anchoring means will enter a bore 9 of the net anchoring means and thereby enter the space between the hooks 8. Thereby said hooks 8 can not be compressed by using reasonbale forces and it becomes difficult or impossible to retract the net anchoring means from the collar sleeve.
Since the head 7 has a greater diameter than the mesh width of the net 5 said head will cover at least two parallel wires of the mesh, eventually all four wires of the mesh, which wires are parallel in pairs. A retraction force thereby can not pull the net anchoring means into an inclined position.
    • Figure 2 shows the arrangement of figure 1 from outside. The figure shows the collar 3 of the collar sleeve and the reinforcing net 5 in contact therewith. A net anchoring means is introduced through a mesh of the net so that the head 7 of the anchoring means 6 keeps the net 5 nailed to the collar 3. The figure shows the bore 9 of the net anchoring means, through which the plaster can be introduced.
    • Figure 3 shows an embodument of the net anchoring means, in which the hooks or nobbies 10 provide a conical bore 12 which facilitate the introduction of the plaster.
    • Figure 4 shows the embodiment of figure 3 seen from outside, and it is obvious that the head 13 of the net anchoring means 11 keeps the reinforcing net 5 anchored in that the head 13 extends over all four wires of a mesh of the reinforcing net 5.
    • Figure 5 shows the same embodiment as in figure 1 except that the net anchoring means has been aplied so as to straddle over a wire of the reinforcing net 5. The head 7 thereby will extend over at least one of the two parallel wires of the net mesh extending perpendicularly to the wire being straddled over.
    • Figure 6 shows the same embodiment as in figure 1 but seen from outside.
  • Comparative tests with different net anchoring means and different location thereof in relation to the meshes of the reinforcing net have shown the following looseining forces.
