Bei den bekannten Verfahren und Vorrichtungen wird der Explosivstoff für den Weitertransport zur Ver­ arbeitungsstelle durch mechanische Separation aus der Emulsion entfernt, was beim Weitertransport er­ hebliche Gefahren mit sich bringt. Ein Weitertrans­ port der unveränderten Explosivstoff-Wasser-Emulsion wäre zwar weitgehend ungefährlich, jedoch wegen der verhältnismäßig großen Wassermengen mit einem hohen Aufwand verbunden. Zur Beseitigung dieser Schwierig­ keiten wird die Explosivstoff-Wasser-Emulsion in einem Behälter gelagert, der aus zwei über einen Bodenspalt miteinander verbundenen und bis zu einer vorgegebenen Höhe mit Wasser gefüllten Teilen gebil­ det ist, wobei der eine Behälterteil mit einem Um­ wälzorgan versehen ist und in diesen unter fort­ währendem Umwälzen der Explosivstoff oder eine Explosivstoff-Wasser-Emulsion eingetragen wird, der andere Behälterteil am Boden mit einer Öffnung zur Entnahme der in vorgesehenem Maße aufkonzentrier­ ten Emulsion versehen und mit seinem oberen Bereich an eine Wasserzufuhrleitung angeschlossen ist.
