Abstract

A device comprising a ski binding which can be secured to a ski, whereby the ski boot is provided with an engagement element which is located longitudinally in relation to the latter. The engagement element is formed, in the known manner, of a wire material with a plurality of bends, whereby its cross-piece is located at a distance from the front end of the boot and its side-pieces, which are adjacent to the cross-piece, are secured at the front-end region of the sole of the ski boot by free bent-out wire sections. According to the invention, the free wire sections (6, 7) of each side-piece (4, 5) of the engagement element (2) are additionally bent out in the direction of the cross-piece (3) at an angle (alpha), as a result of which a better attachment of the engagement element (2) and distribution of forces is achieved between the engagement element and ski boot (1). Furthermore, according to the invention, the individual side-pieces (4, 5) should be divided into at least two wire sections the direction of which differs from that of the previous or next wire section.

Description

The invention relates to a device for releasably connecting a ski boot with a ski binding that can be fixed on a ski according to the preamble of claims 1 and 2 respectively.

From NO-138 832 it has long been known to provide the front end of the ski boot with a hooking element for detachable connection to a ski binding. A cast fastening of a hooking element into a plastic sole is again known from DE-AS-2 622 966.

A ski binding of the type mentioned at the outset is disclosed, for example, in DE-OS-3 002 874. In this known device, the hooking element, viewed in plan view (cf. FIG. 4 of this publication), is designed approximately in the form of a square ring, the free wire sections of each leg pointing in the direction of one another and bent in alignment with one another. Although this known solution has proven itself in practice, there are signs that the specified shape of the hooking element is not the most useful for all conceivable connection mechanisms. The shape of the hooking element, which is similar to a ring, also does not allow any further development, which seems to be expedient for practical experience.

This is where the invention comes in, which has set itself the task of designing a device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that further developments are also possible without departing from the concept of connecting the ski boot and ski binding. In addition, a possibility for the fulfillment of various arrangements in the room and an adaptation possibility for different material connections are to be created.

The problem is solved primarily by the characterizing features of claims 1 or 2.

Due to the fact that the bent free wire sections of each leg are bent again in the direction of the crossbar, a hook-like support of the hooking element is created within the front region of the ski boot, based on the direction of the stress, so that even unfavorable, one-sided loads which occur when Experience has shown that running with the ski shoe can occur again and again, can be absorbed by the ski shoe better than with the solution according to the prior art.

By changing the direction of adjoining wire sections according to the features of claim 2, a hook-like support of the hooking element is also brought about within the front region of the ski boot, based on the direction of the stress. In addition, the hooking element is provided with greater rigidity, since the individual legs of the same are stiffened like struts.

An even better force distribution is achieved by the features of claim 3, since the hooking element is supported in the entire space of the front end region of the ski boot.

According to the features of claim 4, a design of the hooking element which is adapted to the outer shape of the front end region of the ski boot is achieved. This also stiffens the side surfaces of the ski boot.

Due to the features of claim 5, the load force is in turn counteracted intensely in that the wire sections of the individual legs lying in the longitudinal direction of the ski boot are already divided into subsections pointing in different directions.

By considering to ensure that the ski boot rolls off according to the natural movement of the skier's foot, the features of claim 6 serve. These features take into account the rolling movement of the foot over the area of the big toe.

The features of claim 7, by means of which a stiffening is achieved in the front region of the ski boot, serve to further develop this inventive idea.

Further features, advantages and details of the invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the drawing, which shows several exemplary embodiments. Hiebei show: FIGS. 1 to 3 a first embodiment, with free wire sections of the individual legs of the hooking element bent inwards twice, with FIG. 1 the hooking element in the inserted state in a ski boot in plan view and FIGS. 2 and 3 that 4 to 6 show a further embodiment of the first exemplary embodiment, with wire sections of the individual legs additionally bent out from the plane of the hooking element, similar to FIGS. 1 to 3, FIG. 7 to 8, a third embodiment, the legs of the hooking element corresponding to the outer shape of the front end region of the ski shoe are shown angled several times and are shown with free wire sections bent outwards, similar to FIGS. 1 to 3, FIGS. 10 to 12 a fourth embodiment , in which the individual legs of the hooking element have several bends for themselves , otherwise also with outwardly bent free wire sections similar to FIGS. 7 to 9, FIGS. 13 to 15 an arrangement of the free wire sections which form a kind of pivot axis which, with respect to the longitudinal axis of the hooking element, encloses an acute angle with the latter, otherwise similar to FIGS. 7 to 9 and FIG. 16, a partial section of the embodiment according to FIG. 13, in which the outsole is stiffened relative to the further area of the outsole up to the area which receives the hooking element.

As can be seen from the first exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3, a hooking element designated in its entirety by 2 is cast in a known manner in the front end region 1 of a ski boot. This front end region 1 of the ski boot also consists of a plastic material in a manner known per se. The manufacturing process is also known per se and is not the subject of the present invention.

The hooking element 2 has a transverse web 3 and two legs 4, 5 adjoining it with bends. The free wire sections 6, 7 of the individual legs 4, 5 are bent towards one another and then additionally bent again at an acute angle a in the direction of the web 3. The size of the angle a is up to 80 °, preferably 60 ° - 75 °. In the exemplary embodiment, for the sake of clarity, an angle α≡ 20 ° is drawn.

Die Größe des Winkels ß beträgt bis zu 45°, vorzugsweise 15 30°.4 to 6, the hooking element 2 'corresponds essentially to the embodiment according to the first embodiment with the difference that the free end regions 6', 7 'of the individual legs 4', 5 'of the hooking element 2' from the plane are additionally bent out by the angle ß. The size of the angle β is up to 45 °, preferably 15-30 °.

Die Winkeln y und 8 weisen eine Größe von etwa 45° auf.7 to 9, the hooking element 2 "is designed in such a way that the individual legs 4", 5 "are subdivided into three wire sections. The first wire sections 4" a, 5 "a, which are located on the transverse web, run in the process 3 'connect, normal to the latter, the subsequent conductive wire sections 4 "b, 5" b extend outward at an angle a. Straight wire sections 4 "c, 5" c are connected to the end regions of these wire sections, the same as the preceding ones Wire sections form an angle 8. The free wire sections 6 ", 7" of each leg 4 ", 5" are angled outwards in this case. The angles y and 8 have a size of approximately 45 °.

5"'d anschließen.10 to 12, the hooking element 2 "'is provided with multiple bends on its legs 4"', 5 "'. These bends run in opposite directions; in the given exemplary embodiment, the bent wire sections 4"' a, 4 "' b, 4 "c, 4" 'd or 5 "' a, 5" 'b, 5 "' c, 5" 'd, the free end regions 6 "' or 7" 'on the last wire sections 4 Connect "'d or 5"' d.

5'vc an. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 13 to 15, a hooking element 2 1v can be seen , which is equipped similarly to the embodiment according to FIGS. 7 to 9. The respective wire portions b with 4 IV a, 4 IV, 4 IV c bz w. 5 IV a, 5 IV b, 5 IV c and again the free wire sections 6 IV and 7 IV are connected to the wire sections 4 ' v c and 5' v c. The difference to the embodiment according to FIGS. 7 to 9 is that the leg 5 IV is extended relative to the leg 4 1v , in the specific embodiment in that the wire section 5 IV c is longer than the wire section 4 IV c. This results in an alignment of the free wire sections 6 IV , 7 IV , which determine an idle pivot axis 8, the direction of which deviates from the normal to the longitudinal axis of the hooking element 2 1v and encloses an acute angle with the latter. However, this results in a favorable rolling movement, since experience has shown that the skier performs the movement around his big toe in the ball area more than that around the ball area that is in the direction of his small toe.

Diesem Umstand ist in Fig. 16 dadurch Rechnung getragen worden, daß der steifere Bereich mit a und der weitere Bereich der Laufsohle 9 mit b bezeichnet worden sind.16 is further promoted in that the area of the outsole 9 in which the hooking element 2 IV extends is formed from a stiffer material to the further area of this outsole 9. This fact has been taken into account in FIG. 16 by designating the stiffer region with a and the further region of the outsole 9 with b.

The invention is not restricted to the exemplary embodiments shown. Further modifications are conceivable without leaving the scope of protection. For example, it is possible not to bend the free end regions according to FIGS. 7 to 9 or 10 to 12 or 13 to 15 outwards, but inwards. It is also conceivable, etc. both in the form shown and in the form now mentioned, additionally bend the free end regions of the individual legs, similar to the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 to 6, from the plane of the hooking element. Likewise, it is conceivable not to make this turn upwards but downwards, provided that there is sufficient space for this and this - for whatever reason - seems expedient. Finally, it is also conceivable in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3 or 4 to 6 to design the legs with dimensions of different lengths, similarly as is the case with the embodiment according to FIGS. 13 to 15.

The representation of ski bindings which are suitable for using a ski boot with a hooking element shown should be unnecessary with regard to the most varied embodiments of ski bindings which can be used with similar ski boots. There is also no need for a more detailed description of an additional anchoring of the hooking element in a stiffening piece in the shoe sole, as described and shown for example in DE-OS-3 334 144. This publication is to illustrate that the hooking element according to the invention can also be used in connection with such a receiving part and is also protected in use in this form.
