Abstract

Un procédé, servant à fabriquer une mâchoire de frein composée d'une base (1) et de deux pièces de friction constituées de matériaux différents (4, 5), le matériau formant la pièce centrale étant moins dur que le matériau formant la pièce de bordure, consiste à presser à haute température les pièces de friction contre la base (1) à l'aide d'un piston, de façon à placer sur la base (1) deux pièces constituées de matériaux de friction (4, 5) de duretés différentes. La pièce en matériau de friction plus dur (4) est placée en bordure et la pièce en matériau de friction plus mou (5) est placée au centre, après quoi les matériaux sont pressés contre la base (1) et entre eux.
