Abstract
Appareil du type d'un frein à disque et procédé destiné à rattraper automatiquement l'usure des garnitures de ce frein. Le principe essentiel de l'invention consiste à utiliser des organes élastiques pour déplacer dans un sens des patins de freinage et une quantité prédéterminée de liquide sous pression pour les déplacer dans l'autre sens, en assurant la constance de la largeur de l'intervalle compris entre les surfaces de friction lorsqu elles ne sont pas en contact. Application notamment au freinage d'un arbre rotatif dont est solidaire un rotor discoïde.
