Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The disk brake is constituted by providing the friction pad 10 to give frictional force by holding the disk rotor 9 which is connected with the wheels at its both sides and the oil hydraylic pressure cylinder 13 for driving in the caliper 3 which is slidably supported by the support 1 to be fixed on the wheel through the guide pins 2, 2'. In this case, the disk rotor 9 is tapered toward the center part, and the friction surface of the friction pad 10 is also inclined to match the tapered surface, and at the same time, the friction pad 11 is mounted on the inside of the bridge of the caliper 3 and the friction pad 11 is so designed as to give frictional force on the outer peripheral side surface of the disk rotor 9 to give the device self-servo mechanism.
