Description

The invention relates to a shielding device for protection against radiation, poisonous gases or the like, with a wall construction which receives at least one layer of radiation protection material.

Known shelters are not only radiation-proof, but also explosion-proof and. To be, very expensive to build in heavy reinforced concrete construction, they are only built for the actual war, they are not suitable for comprehensive civil protection of the population and, because of the small number and limited space, offer only a small, selected part of the population shelter. In addition, there are shielding devices for nuclear power plants, X-ray stations, radiation treatment rooms, physical laboratories and the like. Like., Which require specially planned and built masonry with integrated protective shields made of lead or the like. Radiation protection material and are also not suitable for extensive civil protection of the population.

As the DE-OSen 33 22 375 and 35 17 226 show, shielding multilayer plates are already known, which can have an aluminum layer, but it is only sound and heat insulating plates per se and there is no reference to one Find use of the insulation panels as radiation protection panels or even set up a radiation protection room using these insulation panels.

The invention is therefore based on the object to remedy these deficiencies and to provide a shielding device of the type described at the outset, which can be produced with relatively little construction and cost and allows everyone to prepare their own radiation protection room.

The invention solves this problem in that the wall construction consists, in a manner known per se, of plate-shaped prefabricated parts which can be assembled and installed in a given space as complete lining, optionally with the formation of a room partition, a prefabricated part being an air supply device comprising an air inlet with filter and Pump and exhaust air opening with vent valve u. Like. Has and a finished part is provided with a door frame for hanging a protective door.

The prefabricated parts provided with the radiation protection layers are relatively easy to handle and make it possible to transform practically any existing space into a shelter, in which people in areas endangered by radiation, poisonous gases or the like can find adequate protection against damage to health. As has been shown, accidents in the nuclear power plants, nuclear tests or the like suddenly and unexpectedly emit radiation into the free atmosphere, which, depending on the prevailing air, flow and weather conditions, is distributed over large parts of the world and is at risk in them Areas living people surprise. The radiation exposure is usually very high in the first few days and decays relatively quickly, so that there is already an increase contains a few days in a shelter is an essential aid for healthy survival. A separate shelter now offers the desired radiation shielding and, in order to get this shelter, it is sufficient to line a part of the existing space, a living room, a cellar compartment, a work space or the like with the help of the finished parts that hold the radiation protection material and to seal it from the outside and so on to adapt the room entirely or with the help of partitions as a shelter. The finished parts can be assembled in any suitable way and attached to the existing wall, ceiling or floor surfaces, with the interposition of sealing material ensuring a tight lining and a tight seal of the protective space. Since a prefabricated part accommodates an air supply device, a corresponding air supply to the shelter is also ensured in a single operation if the supply and exhaust air openings of this prefabricated part lead directly to the outside or to an adjoining room connected to the outside. Also, the required protective door can be installed immediately with the installation of the prefabricated part carrying a door frame, without a special additional measure, whereby a widely pivoted and fixed in the open position protective door is normally not a problem and even a conventional room door can also be used. The shelter can of course continue to be used as real living space, since the finished parts after their installation by appropriate surface treatment, such as wallpapering, painting, plastering, etc. Like., Can be designed as desired. Especially bedrooms, work rooms or other rooms in which the people concerned stay for a relatively long time, are suitable for adaptation as a shelter, without the living habits or quality of life in the normal area of life having to suffer as a result. The prefabricated parts can be assembled at any time, so that a shelter is easy to set up not only in the course of a new building, but also retrospectively in old buildings.

In order to be able to close wall openings in a simple manner, a prefabricated part consists of its own installation frame and a closure plate inserted tightly but releasably therein, optionally having the air supply device. If a room is designed with a window to the shelter, for the time being B. only to surround the window with such a mounting frame. In the normal case, the locking plate remains removed and the window is freely accessible. In an emergency, the locking plate only needs to be inserted tightly into the prepared brewing frame and the shelter is also closed in the window area. The closure plate is particularly well suited for receiving the air supply device, since the window provides the required outside air connection immediately.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the finished parts, as known per se, are produced as multi-layer building boards, or an insulating layer, for example a foam layer, a mineral fiber layer or from a wall shell, for example a plasterboard panel, a wood fiber board or a plastic panel or the like . Like. And at least one Radiation protection layer, for example an aluminum foil, an iron or lead sheet or the like, and optionally a further wall shell. These building boards provide reliable radiation protection, the various radiation protection materials being able to be integrated individually or in combination in the building board, and the building board cannot be distinguished from a conventional building board in its usability and appearance. The construction panel with a wall shell on one side serves to clad an existing wall, a construction panel with wall shells on both sides allows the construction of a self-supporting partition wall or the like. However, the multi-layer structure of the panel not only provides radiation protection, it also increases and increases the thermal insulation values even achieved fire protection.

  • Fig. 2 and 3 parts of the shielding device according to the invention in cross section on a larger scale.

The shielding device according to the invention consists of plate-shaped prefabricated parts 1 which absorb radiation protection material, which can be used as wall cladding, partition walls, window and door locks or the like and which make it possible in a simple manner to existing rooms 2, be it living rooms or cellars or the like . convert individually into shelters, so that everyone can prevent personal exposure to radiation, toxic gas accidents or the like. Disasters. Finished parts 1 serving to clad existing walls 3 are, as indicated in FIG. 2, produced as multi-layer building boards 1a and are composed of an outer wall shell 4, for example a plasterboard, an insulation layer 5, for example a mineral fiber layer, and radiation protection layers 6, for example an aluminum foil and an iron sheet or a lead sheet, together. These building boards 1 a are gas-tightly strung together using suitable holding profiles 7 with the interposition of seals 8 and fastened to the walls 3. The outer wall shell 4 can be like a conventional facing by coloring, wallpapering u. Like. Make it homely. Finished parts 1, which can also be used as separate partitions, are, as indicated in FIG. 3, also provided as multi-layer building boards 1b, with wall shells 4 on both outer sides and an insulating layer 5 in between and again, above all, radiation protection layers 6 in the area of one or both wall shells there. These building boards 1b are also connected to the adjacent wall 3 or another finished part by means of corresponding holding profiles 7 with the interposition of sealing material 8.

The prefabricated parts 1 according to the invention make it possible to adapt practically any room 2 as a protective space by completely lining the specific rooms, that is to say on the endangered walls, ceilings and floors, and also ensuring that the window and door openings are closed. As indicated in Fig. 1, there are at the conclusion of Windows 9 prefabricated parts 1c, which consist of their own brewing frame 10 and a sealing plate 11 inserted therein, but releasably. This closure plate 11 only needs to be installed in an emergency, which can be carried out in a few simple steps, for example by screwing, and allows the normal use of the window 9 as an air and light source for the premises in normal times 2. Is in the closure plate 11 Air supply device 12 from supply air opening 13 with air filter 13a and air pump 13b and an exhaust air opening 14 with ventilation valve 14a installed, the air supply to the shelter can also be ensured at the same time as the window 9 is closed. However, it is also entirely possible to prepare this air supply device 12 in another prefabricated part, as is indicated by dash-dotted lines for the prefabricated part 1d.

If a prefabricated part 1e has a door frame 15 for hanging a protective door 15a from the outset, no difficulties arise for the decision of the access opening for the protective space, and the sealing and protective measures can be prepared at the factory with the required quality.

The finished parts 1 according to the invention are easy to handle and make it possible to set up a shelter practically anywhere and at any time. The space adapted as a shelter remains usable in the same way as before the adaption, for example as a living space, and effective protection is actually offered for each individual in the first instance, which, seen generally, achieves a comprehensive one Civil protection allowed. Of course, the design variants of the prefabricated parts according to the invention are unlimited and depend on the respective requirements and circumstances, the prefabricated parts can be equipped with a wide variety of protective materials, they can have the most suitable assembly aids, they can accommodate the necessary and life-supporting devices and devices, etc.
