Definitions

  • the present invention relates to electronic watch movements with needle display and more particularly to movements which comprise only an hour hand and a minute hand and a clockwork mobile.
  • the object of the present invention is to remedy these defects by a constructive arrangement which maintains the possibility of using a stack extending as close as possible to the center of the movement, the thickness of this stack possibly being almost equal to the height. movement.
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 which illustrate the first embodiment, a watch movement is seen, the frame of which comprises a plate 1 and a gear train 2. Between these two frame elements is mounted a motor (not shown) whose rotot has a pinion which meshes with a first intermediate mobile 3, more precisely with the wheel 4 of this first intermediate mobile.
  • the pinion 5 of this first intermediate mobile is engaged with the wheel 6 of a second intermediate mobile 7 whose pinion 8 is constituted by a toothed disc in the form of a plate driven out on the shaft 9 of this mobile.
  • This shaft 9 has two pivots 10 each engaged in a stone 11. One of these stones is driven into a hole in the plate located in the center of a drop 12 which projects towards the inside of the movement.
  • the plate 1 also has a central recess 1 a, the bottom 13 of which is punctured to allow the toothed disc 8 to mesh with a moving center 14 which will now be described.
  • This center mobile comprises a shaft 15 coming in one piece with a pinion 16 and a pivot 17.
  • the pivot 17 is supported by a bearing 18 formed by a stone driven into a hole in the gear train bridge 2.
  • the mobile 14 has d on the other hand a wheel 19 which comprises a board 19a provided with a toothing, a drop 19b, a flange 20 adjacent to the board 19a and between these two elements a circular groove coaxial with the mobile and designated by 21.
  • the toothing of the wheel 19 has the same number of teeth as the toothed disc 8 and it can be seen that these two elements are mutually engaged when the center mobile is in place.
  • the collar 20 has an outside diameter which is slightly greater than that of the pinion 16. This collar is engaged in a hole 22 formed in the bottom 13 of the central recess 1a of the plate 1. Consequently, this hole 22 or central opening of the plate 1 is larger than the center pinion 16.
  • the needle display device comprises a 24 hour cannon wheel which is engaged on the shaft 15 of the mobile 14 above the wheel 19 and bears against the drop 19b.
  • the barrel of this wheel 24 will carry an hour hand (not shown) while the end of the shaft 15 of the mobile 14 will carry a minute hand (not shown).
  • the battery 25 which constitutes the energy source of the movement is put in place from the rear of the movement in a notch or a hole in the gear point 2. It comes to rest against a beveled surface 26 of the bottom 13 of the central recess 1a of the plate 1. Between the upper face of the stack 25 and the part of the plate 1 which extends above the stack there is sufficient space to accommodate a connection tab (not shown). The wheel 19 also extends in this space, while the plank of the hour wheel 24 extends at the level of the upper part of the plate 1. Radially, the stack 25 extends to a distance from the center movement which is slightly greater than the radius of the pinion 16.
  • the wheels 19 and 24 are also visible in FIG. 2.
  • the pinion 16 is engaged with the wheel 27 of a timer mobile 18, the pinion 29 of which is driven in a flange 30 of diameter slightly greater than that of the pinion 29.
  • a hole 31 in the plate 1 ensures pivoting.
  • the timer gear 29 is engaged with the barrel wheel 24, while the timer wheel 27, which is engaged with the center gear 16, can also be manually driven by moving the sliding gear 32 on the square of the control rod 33. This is engaged radially in the movement.
  • a lever 34 and a pull tab usually move the sliding pinion 32 when the rod 33 is pulled outwards in order to bring it into the time setting position. This movement construction therefore has no intermediate reference for setting the time.
  • the second embodiment differs from the first essentially by the fact that the center mobile 14 is pivotally mounted on a tenon 35, driven into the gear train 2. More precisely, the tenon 35 comprises a plate 36 forcibly engaged in a hole 37 of the deck 2, as well as a pivot 38, engaged in a hole 39 of the shaft 15, to ensure the pivoting of the latter.
  • the pivot 38 and the shaft 15 each have an annular boss, respectively bearing the references 40 and 41 and defining an axial notch, to ensure the axial positioning of the center mobile.
  • the center wheel 19 no longer has a collar or groove, the guide and the positioning of the minutes mobile being ensured by the lug only 35.
  • the plate 1 is devoid of recess in its center, but has a simple central opening 1b through which the assembly of the center mobile 14 and the hour and minute wheels 19 and 24 can be put in place.
  • the minute hand is carried by a shaft driven by a large diameter wheel, that is to say the center wheel 19, which considerably reduces the clearance gear.
  • the space available in height in the movement for receiving the stack exceeds 60% and can reach 90% of the thickness of the movement, even if this stack extends to the immediate vicinity of the center of the movement.
  • this solution offers an advantageous additional advantage, since it is possible to set up the center mobile and the barrel wheel once the movement is also completely finished.
  • the mobile 14 is simply engaged on the pivot 38. This makes it possible to store movements without the center mobile and the barrel wheel, and to choose, at the time of delivery, mobile and wheel in depending on the height of the switch. It might even be possible to mount the minute and hour hands respectively on the center mobile and the barrel wheel, with the interposition of the dial, before placing the module thus produced on the movement of the watch.
