Description
The invention relates to a device for lateral guidance of a ski boot according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a device has already been described in DE-A 2 937 347. In this device, both lasts are of equal length and essentially extend in the zone of the forefoot (see Fig. 12). It is disadvantageous that the individual strips on the ski must be attached separately. According to another embodiment of this document (see Fig. 14) it is known to attach a bar to a plate. When using two strips on one plate, however, the total weight is increased unfavorably. Furthermore, the skier cannot recognize which ski is the right one and which one is the left one without special identification.
In practice, it has been shown that a ski boot must be well guided, especially in the area of the ball following the binding. It was therefore proposed to make the bar higher in this area and then to drop it to a normal value (see DE-A 2 937 347, Fig. 14 and 15 above). However, this requires a relatively thick sole in the ball area of the ski boot.
The invention has for its object to provide a solution that manages with a normal thick sole of the ski boot even in the ball area.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1. This measure ensures the guidance of the ski boot in the ball area or, starting from this, as required, without the sole in the ball area having to be reinforced. However, this saves weight on the ski boot. By adapting the inner strips to the bale area, the plate is also shorter and lighter. This measure also makes it easy to recognize the right and left cross-country skis.
Wide limits are conceivable for the ratio of the lengths of the two guide strips of a ski. In practice, however, it has proven to be particularly advantageous if, in a further embodiment of the invention, the ratio of the lengths of the guide strips is between 1: 1.1 and 1: 1.6.
As such, the cross sections of the two guide strips can be formed by triangles of the same size. It is important in any case that for the phase of pushing off the ski boot on the ski, secure support is guaranteed, and that the ski boot is able to guide the ski safely even under different running conditions. According to the invention, different solutions are provided to achieve such different goals.
Due to the features of claim 3, the outer surface of the inner bar most stressed by the repulsive force is increased relative to that of the outer bar, so that the total effective area of the shorter bar is equal to or, if necessary, exceeding the area of the longer bar can be designed.
When absorbing the repulsive force, it is not only the size that is important, but also the course of the effective area. If the features of claim 4 are realized, the efficiency of the absorption of the repulsive force can be ensured by the effective outer surface of the inner guide groove regardless of its height or can be improved in addition to this measure. If an engagement of the outer guide strips with the respectively associated groove is to be ensured even when the outer edge of the ski boots is swung out extremely (raised), the features of claim 5 are used.
In this context it should be noted that the features of claims 3 and 5 pursue different goals and for this reason generally do not come to be used simultaneously on a ski.
The features of claim 6 enable a greater choice with regard to the determination of the base angle and thus a design of the guide strips and the benefits associated therewith which can be better adapted to the respective construction criteria.
Due to the features of claim 7, breaking of the strips is reliably avoided even if the outer boundary surfaces of the two strips should run very steeply with respect to the plate carrying them.
The measure of claim 8 makes the production of the plate particularly simple, and the stability of the plate is increased.
Finally, the subject matter of claim 9 enables the cross section of the plate to be made in a material-saving manner.
In the drawing, for example, embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown purely schematically. 1 is a top view of the ski bindings of a pair of cross-country skis, with ski boots indicated in the ski bindings. Fig.2 is a section along the line 11-11 in Fig.1. on a larger scale. 3 to 6 variants for the execution according to Fig. 2 are illustrated.
A ski binding 2a or 2b, in which the front end of a
The two
According to Figure 2, the cross sections of the two
In the variant according to FIG. 3, two
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the slope of the outer surface 24c of the
In the variant according to FIG. 5, two
In the embodiments according to FIGS. 3 to 5, it has proven to be advantageous if the cross section of at least one of the two guide members is formed by an unequal triangle. This gives the designer a greater choice when it comes to determining the individual base angles.
The variant according to FIG. 6 is characterized in that the
The embodiments according to FIGS. 2 to 6 have been described in connection with right-hand devices. In general, the left-hand device will be designed according to the configuration of the right-hand one. However, if necessary, different devices can be used on a pair of skis. This can be particularly advantageous for skiers with marked differences on the right and left foot and / or in their skiing ability on both sides.
