Abstract

The machine comprises a drum (1) in an airtight housing (6), which is in connection with the suction side of a blower (12). The drum is rotatably mounted on in each case a tube (3, 3') serving as a hollow axle. Both the loading and unloading of the poultry feathers and the feeding in of hot air for drying and cooling air for cooling the feathers take place via these tubes 3, 3'. The drum jacket and preferably also the end walls of the drum (1) are designed as screens (23, 24).
