Description

The invention relates to a training device which consists essentially of a frame resting on the floor, an abutment supported by the frame for the exerciser and a training crank, the latter indirectly via its shaft, e.g. via a transmission or directly with an arm equipped with interchangeable weights, the arm opposite the crank is in driving connection and this connection can be released for the purpose of changing the angular position between crank and arm.

Muskelgruppierungen eines menschlichen Körpers trainieren will. A training device of the type mentioned at the outset, but without the possibility of changing the angular position between the training crank and the opposite arm, is described in DE-PS 2 213 440. There it is essentially aimed that the alternating weights exert an approximately uniform counterforce within a range of motion of the crank over 180 ° on the latter. The aforementioned change in the angular position between the crank and arm can be found in DE-PS 2 716 281. These known devices have proven themselves relatively well in practice, but it must be admitted that the training options are in need of expansion, ie you need several devices if you want to train the individual muscles or muscle groups of a human body. This fact has also led to the so-called training streets (cf. DE-PS 2 716 281), in which devices which are of the same type but are designed for different training movements are arranged in a row or in an arc. This way of expanding the training options not only requires large available rooms, but also a considerable financial outlay.

Muskelgruppierungen eines menschlichen Körpers optimal trainieren will.Similar conditions prevail in the exercise device according to DE-A 3 314 328. Although several exercises are possible with a single device, the chosen construction cannot replace a training route, i.e. Several devices still have to be procured if you want to optimally train the individual muscles or muscle groups of a human body.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of creating a training device which alone offers a multitude of training options for the individual muscles or muscle groups of a human body, without the need for large spaces and / or an unacceptable financial outlay.

This object is achieved by the measure according to the characterizing part of the main claim. By designing the conventional training device as a multipurpose device, not only is the number of devices required in the past minimized, i.e. reduced to a single device, but it is also - as required - the necessary space required significantly reduced, quite apart from the fact that the financial expenditure drops to a level that seems quite acceptable compared to the effort of training streets. Another advantage is that the person exercising can make full use of the time available for training without having to travel useless paths for the training. It is also essential and advantageous in the device according to the invention that the position-changing arrangement of the abutment, by changing the load, by offset of the crank, etc. enables the exerciser in a few simple steps to adapt the device to his needs or to leg training Training the abdominal or back muscles, arm training, etc. can switch to what will be discussed in more detail.

In order to make the only training device economical now, it is advisable to proceed according to claim 2. With this design, the simplicity is impressive, which in addition to the economic advantages also brings with it a long service life and functional reliability, without making handling more difficult.

To ensure that the position-changing abutment remains in the selected position, the measure according to claim 3 is recommended. The profiling significantly increases training safety, thus reducing the risk of accidents.

Since the individual training options not only require relatively small abutments, but also a type of bench or couch, it is recommended according to the invention to accept the teaching according to claim 4. This makes it possible for a trainee to train not only while sitting or standing on the crank, but also lying on his stomach or back, whereby it appears expedient that the extensions strive slightly up or down, which is why the measure is referred to claim 5.

Since it is known that it is always advantageous for training equipment to have neutral zones, i.e. dangerous overloads of the muscles etc. Areas in which no force can be exerted on the trainee, but on the other hand in the multipurpose device according to the invention, because of the different positions of the weight-loaded arm, the aforementioned change in position of the stop for the arm is required, it is important that the position can be changed quickly and easily Prevent dangers. This is the case when proceeding according to claim 6. The elastic block counteracts hard, wear-promoting blows and the associated annoying noise.

Since in some types of training the trainee must sit or lie, an embodiment according to claim 7 is provided.

If you want to set the bracket of the abutment and / or the stop differently than previously described on the wall-like part, it is advisable to proceed according to the teaching of claim 8. This design is also safe, i.e. it cannot happen that a boom unintentionally comes loose and creates an accident risk.

Zur des öfteren verlangten Lagesicherung derTo secure the position of the

In order to frequently secure the position of the plug-in cantilever, it is proposed according to the invention to use the measures according to claim 9.

In order to give the person exercising the opportunity to be able to switch the device according to the invention to the type of training desired by him without outside help, reference is made to the inventive measures according to claim 10. In practice, this means that the device is provided with a kind of instructions for use, which considerably facilitates self-service and / or correct setting.

Since, as is well known, load weights - without the opposing force of a trainee - bring the training crank into a position that often make it considerably more difficult to get in and out of the device, the inventor has given remedial action which consist in the fact that the device according to the invention has a boarding aid, as stated in claim 11.

Again with regard to the "containment" of accident hazards, the measure according to claim 12 is recommended. As a result, it is impossible for the arm to roll over with the load weights to a certain extent if the training movements are too violent and uncontrolled, which could lead to muscle or ligament tears and / or even broken bones.

As already indicated, the changeable abutment and a seat are not sufficient for some types of training, so that according to the invention a training bench should be used for perfection, it being important to connect these in a sensible manner to the multi-purpose device. This is solved if one makes use of the teaching according to claim 13. The special connections make it possible to change the position of the training bench significantly, which increases the training options, thus clearly underlining the aim of the invention, namely to create a real multi-purpose device. If one further makes use of the teachings of claims 14 to 17, one obtains a training device which actually meets all requirements without incurring unreasonable construction costs. Particularly noteworthy is that the two parts of the couch can be tilted independently of each other and the whole bench can be easily turned to the device by 180 ° . Abutment, seat and training bench, which can also be changed in their positions, are therefore essential parts of the training device according to the invention.

The invention is illustrated for example in the drawing. In addition, some (not all) training options are illustrated, to which express reference is made to belong to the invention, and parts of the drawing description are also considered to be essential to the invention.

As can be seen from FIGS. 1 to 3, the training device 1 according to the invention has a trestle-like shape, the frame 2 of which is equipped with standing rails 3, 4. In addition, the frame has a wall-like part 5, the side parts 6, 7 serve storage purposes.

Between the side parts 6, 7 there is a gear 8, which contains two meshing gears, the support shafts of which are designated 9, 10. The gears, not shown, are dimensioned so that a reduction ratio of about 1: 2 results from the shaft 9 to the shaft 10, ie, with an angular path of the shaft 9 by 180 ° , the angular path of the shaft 10 is approximately 90 ° .

The shaft 9 carries a crank 11, the actual crank 12 is padded all around. The shaft 10 is equipped with an arm 13 which carries 14 alternating weights 15 on a shaft end 14 arranged at the free end. The angular positions between the crank 11 and the arm 13 can be changed within any limits by axially displacing the shaft 9.

On the side of the crank 11 of the device 1 there is an abutment 16, which consists of padding and a frame that is not visible. The frame of the abutment 16 is equipped with a bracket 17, which is inserted into a holder 18 of the wall 5 and is secured there if necessary. In the wall 5 there are further brackets 19, 20, 21, so that it is possible to bring the abutment 16 into the positions indicated in FIG. 3. A further change in inclination of the abutment 16 is possible if the boom 17 is connected to the abutment 16 in a rotatable but lockable manner.

In Figures 2 and 3 it can also be seen that in the frame of the abutment 16 extensions 22 can be inserted, which have kinks, so that they once from the abutment 16 slightly down and to. others can be directed slightly upwards. The extensions, which are also reversed are on both sides of the abutment 16 can be used and can be secured or are secured.

On the arm 13 side, recesses 23 are provided in the wall-like part 5, which, like the brackets 18 to 21, are formed by hollow profiles or by square tube pieces, but are arranged along an arc that runs concentrically to the shaft 10. A boom 24 of e.g. consisting of an elastic block stop 25 insertable, which blocks the movement of the arm 13 in one of the two directions.

Fig. 3) eingeschoben. According to FIG. 4, a trainee 26 sits on a seat 27 (cf. also FIGS. 1 and 2) and the abutment 16 is rotated through 90 ° with respect to its extension 17 and is inserted with the latter into the holder 20 (cf. FIG. 3). The exerciser 26 has placed his arms 28 on the abutment 16 and moves the actual crank 12 in the direction of the dashed arrow. Since the weights 15 counteract this movement, the biceps is trained.

If you want to train the triceps, you have to proceed according to FIG. 5, the weight arm 13 naturally having to be effective in the opposite direction.

According to FIGS. 6 and 7, the abutment 16 with its arm 17 in the normal position is anchored in the holder 21, also 18 would be conceivable (see FIG. 3) and the trainee 26 lies not only on the abutment 16 but also on it the downwardly bent extension 22. In both figures and corresponding positions of the actual crank 12, the shoulder muscles are required, it being left up to the exerciser 26 how he acts on the actual crank 12.

If you want to carry out the so-called leg extension training (FIG. 8), the exerciser 26 sits again on the abutment 16, which rests in the holder 19.

For bending, the exerciser 26 lies face down (FIG. 9) on the abutment 16 and a slightly downward extension 22. The abutment 16 is held here in the holder 19.

The arrangements according to FIGS. 10 and 11 are recommended for abdominal and back muscle training. The abutments 16 rest here in the recesses 18. The rollers 29, which are optionally padded, are pure abutments.

An abutment 16 extended by part 22, which rests in the holder 18, is suitable for training the hip muscles (FIG. 12). The actual crank 12 is effective in the squat. If the crank 12 rests on the knees, training can also be carried out in the opposite direction of the arrow.

It must also be added to FIGS. 1 and 2 that slots 31 of different sizes are provided in a transverse part 30, which serve to accommodate alternating weights 15.

In FIG. 13, the brackets 18 to 21 are arranged differently (to some extent as a mirror image), which means that it is no longer necessary to connect the bracket 17 to the abutment 16 in an angle-adjustable manner. In addition, the shafts 9, 10 of the transmission 8 or the latter are offset to the right. There is also a difference in that the seat 27 or the abutment 16 is replaced by a training bench 16a, which will be discussed in more detail. It should only be mentioned here that the stand 32 close to the device 1 is equipped with connections 33, 34 which can be inserted into corresponding receptacles of the stand rails 3, 4 and fixed with toggle screws 35, 36. It can be seen that the training bench 16a allows numerous possible variations.

In addition, the side part 6 carries a sticker 38. The importance of the adjusting disc 37 and the sticker 38 will be discussed in more detail. The same applies to the frames 39 to 42 of the brackets 18 to 21. In this context, the frames 43 of the cutouts 23 in FIG. 14 are also important; the frames 39 to 43 could also be replaced by other markings 44, as can be seen in FIG. 14.

With 45 in the side part 6 of FIG. 13, holes are indicated, through which the arm 24 of the stop 25 can be fixed accidentally with the aid of a toggle screw 46. The bracket 17 of the abutment 16 can also be fixed with a toggle screw 47 which passes through holes 48 in the side part 7 of FIG. 14 and is screwed into a cover of the bracket 17 if the bracket 17 is a hollow profile.

The explanatory diagrams according to FIG. 15 in conjunction with FIG. 14 show that the device 1 is assigned an entry aid 49. This consists of a shaft 50 mounted on the wall-like part 5 with a handle 51 and two downwardly directed arms 52. These arms 52 pass through slotted guides 53 which receive bolts 54 which are also penetrated by the arms 52. Thus, when the handle 51 is pivoted in the direction of arrow 55, the bolts 54 come into a position in which they can support the arm 13, as is shown in FIG. 14 by broken lines. In addition, the arm 13 is assigned a rollover protection device 56, which, because of its strength, has a trapezoidal shape from above and has two bevels 57, 58, one of which 58 is used for fastening to the wall-like part 5, while the bevel 57 is like a string into the circular path of the arm 13 protrudes and thus prevents the arm 13 from rolling over (cf. the dash-dotted lines in FIG. 14). It is understood that the overturn protection 56 is strong, e.g. is made of boiler plate in order to be able to cope with the hard stops that may be expected.

It can be seen from FIG. 16 that the training bench 16a has a lying area 61 formed by two padded parts 59, 60. In addition, a longitudinal spar 62 can be seen, the one on the Base 32 and the other on a crosshead 63 engages, the latter resting on feet 64, 65, which lie congruently one behind the other. All feet are equipped with floor sills 66, 67.

The parts 59, 60 of the couch 61 are connected to one another independently of the longitudinal spar 62 by a hinge joint 68. The part 59 sits on a U-shape 69, which overlaps the longitudinal spar 62 with a sliding or sliding fit. The U-shape 69 is equipped with holes 70, the holes 71 of the longitudinal spar 62 are of the same type. The U-shape 69 itself has a greater depth than the spar 62 is high, which results in good guidance on the spar 62.

The rear feet 64, 65 carry congruent guides 72, 73, which serve to receive support rods 74, 75, which in turn are provided with bores 76, 77 and serve to receive a transverse bolt 78.

In FIG. 16, the parts 59, 60 of the couch 61 are in one plane and are secured in position by a pin 79, especially since the U-shape 69 fits on the longitudinal spar 62 and the joint 68 is also stable on the side. Lateral tilting moments of the couch 61 are also not to be feared because the part 60 also comes to rest on the cross member 63. The dashed lines 80, 81 indicate that with the help of the pin 79, the holes 70, 71 and the crossbar 78, the most varied inclinations of the parts 59 and 60 of the couch 61 can be obtained, which can also be achieved in mirror image if one instead of port 33, port 34 is used. It goes without saying that this makes the training options more variable and their number increased.

It can be seen that by shifting the shaft 9 according to the double arrow 82, the gears 9a, 10a mesh with one another or come out of engagement. The corresponding reference numbers of previous figures have been included in the illustration according to FIG. 17 for better understanding. The same applies to FIGS. 18 and 19, where the arms 17, 24 for the abutment 16 and the stop 25 merge into hook shapes 83, which have slots 84 and thus overlap the side parts 6, 7. The recesses 18, 23 are slot-like here and designed so that the hook shapes 83 can be introduced. It is also ensured that the arms 17, 24 cannot rotate in the slot-like recesses 18, 23. It is also indicated at 85 that the hook shapes 83 can be secured in their end positions with a locking bolt or with a screw.

If it is also possible in principle that a trainee 26 selects his own exercises and thus uses the multipurpose device 1 to a large extent, it seems appropriate with regard to full use and maximum training success for a person's main muscles to use certain methods, for which the Adjustment disc 37 and the sticker 38 provide valuable services. The training options, for example those of FIGS. 4 to 12, are shown on the sticker 38 in the individual boxes 86. The corners 87 of the boxes 86 are colored and the colors also appear on the frames 39 to 42 and on voluminous or wide and labeled wide arrows 88 of the adjusting disc 37, so that the user 26 knows in which holder he the boom 17 for must use certain exercise. Since the writings on the broad arrows denote the individual exercises and are composed of letters of different colors, the user 26 is given an instruction in which likewise color-coded (corresponding to the letter color) recess 23 of the bracket 24 of the stop 25 is to be inserted. The uncoupled training crank 11 is brought into drive connection at approximately the point with the weight arm 13 at which the crank 11 is located in the region of the arrow of the desired exercise. This setting is supported by a 360 ° division (not shown) on the edge of the disk 37, this division also permitting fine adjustments.
