Description

The present invention relates to a steam bath cabin, consisting of at least three cabin walls and a cabin roof, wherein at least the cabin walls are formed from individual, stacked and having thermal insulation profile trough elements, each with a profile floor and at least two longitudinal walls, and wherein openings for the steam inlet and the Exhaust air and a door are provided.

In known steam bath cabins, the wall elements consist of prefabricated all-plastic elements with a foamed core as thermal insulation, from which the cabin is composed. In these cabins, the cabin seats are an integral part of the wall elements. In order to be able to assemble these cabins, an installation space leading around the cabin to the room wall is required, since the elements are assembled from the outside. For this reason, these cabins require generous space for installation. A further disadvantage of these cabins is that the condensation water running down the walls and the body sweat accumulate on the seating surfaces of the integral benches, which is undesirable for hygienic reasons. Also, these cabins do not have an optimal steam distribution, so that no uniform flushing of the people sitting in the cabin with hot steam is guaranteed, since the steam is supplied via a single central supply opening and the discharge via an outlet in the side walls, the arrangement of the respective Openings depend on the available space, and on the other hand because the benches are integral with the side walls.

In a steam bath cabin known from DE-A-35 36 508, the profile trough elements (wall sections) are made of plastic, e.g. made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. Separate connecting profiles made of metal are provided for connecting the profile trough elements or wall sections, namely two metal connecting profiles are required in each connecting area of two adjacent wall sections, which are each attached to the inside of the longitudinal walls (outer edges) of the wall sections. The wall sections are then connected by means of the two connecting profiles and the longitudinal walls by gripping screws. Sealing strips, which are arranged between the wall sections, are again required as separate individual parts for sealing. Because of this configuration, the assembly of the known steam bath cabin is very difficult and time-consuming. In addition, stability problems arise due to the formation of the profile trough elements made of plastic. Although the wall sections are to be stiffened by the connecting profiles, overall this should only be achieved to a limited extent. A further problem arises with the sealing between the wall sections, since the sealing strip provided for this purpose must be installed at the same time when the wall sections are connected, so that a large number of individual parts or elements (two wall sections, two connecting profiles, a sealing strip and the required screws) at the same time have to be handled, which is very difficult. Furthermore, the disadvantage already described above also arises here that a mounting space leading around the cabin to the room or building wall is required for mounting, since the wall sections must be mounted from the outside. This is because the wall sections of the known steam bath cabin are open to the outside, so that the screws required for connection are only accessible from the outside.

In der montierten Stellung liegen demzufolge alle die Nut und die Feder bildenden Abschnitte der Metallplatte unmittelbar aufeinander.US-A-4 100 711 relates only to a prefabricated insulating plate (panel) and not a steam bath cabin. This document can therefore be described as foreign to the genre. Tongue and groove connections are already provided for the horizontal connection of these known plates, but this known construction is very different from that of the present invention. The plate consists of an outer metal plate, which has an insulating layer on one side. Accordingly, it is not possible to speak of a profile trough element here. The plate has a spring (top edge) on its upper horizontal side, which is formed by a fold-like bend in the metal plate, the material of the metal plate lying here parallel to one another. A groove (bottom seat) is also formed on the lower horizontal side by a fold-like course of the metal plate. Accordingly, in the assembled position, all the sections of the metal plate that form the groove and the tongue lie directly on top of one another.

An ihrer anderen Stirnseite besitzt die Blechschale zur Bildung einer Nut einen Falz, wobei diese Nut mit einer der Dicke des Randsteges bzw. der Feder entsprechenden Öffnungsweite ausgebildet ist.DE-A-32 18 695 also does not describe a steam bath cabin, but rather a building board, so that this document can also be described as foreign to the genre. This known building board consists of a sheet metal shell and an insulation layer. Here, the sheet metal shell has an edge web in the region of one end face, which forms a spring. The sheet metal shell has a fold on its other end face to form a groove, this groove being formed with an opening width corresponding to the thickness of the edge web or the spring.

The invention has for its object to provide an improved steam bath cabin based on the prior art described above that simple and time-saving installation is also possible from the inside of the cabin, the finished cabin having a high stability and with simple means an effective seal between the profile trough elements is to be achieved.

According to the invention, this is achieved by that the profile trough elements are made of metal and are connected to one another via tongue and groove connections, in each of which a longitudinal wall of one of the profile trough elements has a groove and the abutting longitudinal wall of the adjacent profile trough element has a tongue extension, both the groove and the tongue extension fitting into the groove each of two parallel to each other and to the profile floor, spaced web approaches of the longitudinal walls are formed. In one advantageous embodiment of the invention, one of the web projections that delimit the groove can form an extension of the profile base.

Due to the tongue and groove connections provided according to the invention, assembly by simply “plugging” the profile trough elements is also possible from the cabin interior, so that the cabin according to the invention can also be set up in such rooms, which can only be set up from one side, for example only through a door, are accessible, ie the cabin walls can be installed directly in front of existing building walls. The special design of the groove and the tongue attachment according to the invention, each consisting of two spaced-apart, parallel web attachments, in conjunction with the feature that the profile trough elements and thus also the web attachments consist of metal, lead to an extraordinarily high static stability of the steam bath cabin according to the invention and to one Sealing through labyrinth effect.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a steam bath cabin according to the invention consists of at least three, preferably - as shown - four, side walls 1 and a roof 2. The side walls 1 are made of special metal profile tubs 3 according to the invention, see FIG. 6 These profile troughs 3 have a length which corresponds approximately to the height of the side walls 2. The interior of the profile troughs 3 is delimited by a profile base 4 and two longitudinal walls 5. The height of the longitudinal walls 5 is approximately 20 mm and the width of the profile base is approximately 10 to 20 cm, it being within the scope of the invention if profile troughs 3 of different dimensions, i.e. in a certain grid. The length of the profile troughs 3 is approximately 200 cm. Aluminum is advantageously used as the material, so that the profile troughs 3 can be produced as extruded profiles. These profile troughs 3 are characterized by high rigidity and stability. The profile trays 3 are filled with an insulating material 6 for thermal insulation. It is preferably an insulating foam, in particular a polyurethane foam. The profile troughs 3 are now filled with the insulating foam such that it overhangs the longitudinal edges 8 of the longitudinal walls 5 with an overhang 7. Tongue and groove connecting elements are formed on the longitudinal walls 5 of the profile troughs 3, so that the profile troughs forming the cabin wall are positively connected to one another via a tongue and groove connection. For this purpose, one of the longitudinal walls 5 has a continuous groove 9 and the other longitudinal wall 5 has a continuous tongue 10. For this purpose, it is particularly advantageous if a longitudinal wall 5 of a profile trough 3 has a web extension 9a, which forms an extension of the profile base 4 and runs in the longitudinal direction of the profile trough 3, and a web extension 9b running parallel to the web extension 9a and spaced therefrom, which web extensions 9a, 9b limit the groove 9. The other longitudinal wall 5 of the profile trough 3 has two web seats 10a, 10b, which are spaced apart from one another and parallel to one another and to the profile base 4 in the longitudinal direction of the profile trough 3, and which form the tongue extension 10 which fits into the groove 9. This training ensures a particularly large projection 7 and therefore very good insulation. In addition, however, it is also within the scope of the invention to provide groove 9 and tongue 10 in the approximately central region of the longitudinal walls 5.

It is provided that the protrusion 7 of the insulating material 3 is such that there is closed, gap-free insulation on the rear wall of the cabin. In terms of manufacture, this can be achieved by foaming together a plurality of profile troughs 3 in the lying state, so that their interior is freely accessible upwards, so that due to the projection of the lso provided according to the invention liermaterials a continuous insulation layer results on the back of the profile troughs. To separate the foamed profile troughs 3, the continuous foamed insulation in the protruding area is separated along the butt joints between the individual profile troughs 3, ie along the line formed by the free end of the groove-web extension 9b. If, during the assembly of the cabin according to the invention, the foamed profile troughs 3 produced in this way are placed next to one another, there is - as already mentioned - a gap-free closed insulation on the outside of the cabin.

The outside of the profile troughs 3 according to the invention, i.e. the inside of the steam bath cabin is preferably provided with a coating 12, which consists of a plastic material and serves on the one hand for coloring and on the other hand for insulation. This coating 12 can be applied using the powder coating method.

As can further be seen from FIG. 6, it can be expedient if mounting profiles 13 are fastened to the inside of the base, which can be T-shaped in cross section, for example, and a positive connection between the insulating material 6 and the profile trough 3 bring about.

Diese Rinne 16 der nach außen öffnenden Tür 14 leitet so vorteilhafterweise jegliches Kondenswasser, was sich auf der Türfläche bildet, auch bei offener Tür stets in die Kabine und somit in einen dort vorgesehenen Ablauf, so daß der Vorraum vor der erfindungsgemäßen Dampfbad- kabine stets trocken bleibt.4 and 5, the steam bath cabin according to the invention is equipped with a door 14, in particular a glass door, which in its area adjoining its lower end has a condensate channel 16 which runs inclined over its entire width and in the direction of its hinge side 15 the hinge side 15 facing end is connected to a drain hose 17 opening into the cabin interior. This channel 16 of the outwardly opening door 14 thus advantageously conducts any condensate that forms on the door surface, even with the door open, into the cabin and thus into a drain provided there, so that the anteroom in front of the steam bath cabin according to the invention is always dry remains.

Durch diese Ausbildung entsteht auf der Innenseite 25 des Daches 2 ein nutförmiger Hohlraum 26, in den erfindungsgemäß ein U-förmiges Verblendprofil 27 derart eingesetzt ist, daß sich auf der Dachinnenseite 25 eine durchgehende Fläche ergibt.3 and 7 as can be seen from Fig., The cabin roof 2 is designed such that it has a curvature to the outside. This arching of the roof ensures that condensation water does not drip down. According to the invention, the roof 2 consists of individual roof elements 20, each of which consists of a sheet 21 that is curved outwards and a U-profile 22 that is open at the bottom and is fastened at least on one edge, the U-profiles 22 forming a frame on the upper ends of the Mounted wall elements and the roof elements 20 are connected to each other at their other, adjacent edges. For this connection, the mutually adjacent edges of the roof elements 20 are bent outward in an L-shape, the horizontal L-legs 23 overlapping and being screwed together by means of screw connections 24. This design creates a groove-shaped cavity 26 on the inside 25 of the roof 2, in which a U-shaped veneer profile 27 is inserted according to the invention such that a continuous surface is obtained on the inside 25 of the roof.

According to the invention, height-adjustable feet 32 are arranged on the lower ends of the wall elements facing the cabin floor 31. For this purpose, a groove extending in the direction of the wall 1 and extending into the profile troughs 3 is formed at the lower ends of the wall elements, into which square tube profiles 33, which form a base frame, are inserted. The square tube profiles 33 have vertically arranged threaded holes spaced apart from one another in the direction of the wall 1, into which the feet 32 designed as screw feet are screwed in such a way that they can be adjusted in height. As a result, unevenness in the floor 31 can be compensated for in a simple manner. Characterized in that the wall elements are spaced from the floor 31 due to the screw feet 32, it is advantageous if the square tube profile 33 on its underside extends into the interior of the cabin and sealingly rests on the cabin floor 31 sealing lip 34, which is preferably made of rubber or a similar elastic material.

As can be seen from FIGS. 1 to 3, a seat 37 consisting of individual, spaced-apart slatted profiles 36 is fastened to the side walls 1 at seat height above the cabin floor 31. In order to achieve a multi-stage similar to sauna cabins, it is advantageous if the seat 37 has a backrest 38, which also consists of individual slatted profiles 36, to which there is another seat 39 consisting of individual slatted profiles 36 between its upper end and the side wall 1 connects. Slatted profiles 41 (FIG. 2), which form a backrest for the further, upper seat 39, are advantageously attached to the side wall 1 above the further seat 39. The benches 37 and 39 thus have no continuous seating surfaces according to the invention, so that the accumulation of condensation or sweat on the seating surfaces is prevented.

In such a multi-stage steam bath cabin designed in accordance with the invention that below the benches 37, 39 a steam supply line 42 preferably runs with a slight slope in the direction of its free end 43, in which steam outlet openings 44 directed towards the seating surfaces of the benches 37, 39 and preferably on free end 43 a condensate drain opening are formed. The steam supply line 42 runs above the cabin floor 31 parallel to the cabin side walls 1 with the exception of the side wall having the cabin door 14 and is connected to a steam generator arranged outside the cabin. The outlet openings 44 preferably have a diameter of approximately 4 to 8 mm and are arranged in such a way that the steam emerges from them vertically upwards and / or exits diagonally upwards or horizontally inwards into the cabin interior. Due to its slight gradient in the direction of the free end 43 and the condensate drain opening provided here, condensate accumulating in the line can always flow off.

As a result of the advantageous embodiment of the steam bath cabin according to the invention, the steam emerging from the steam supply line 42 can pass through the slatted profiles 36 of the bench seats 37, 39 and thus directly wash around the people sitting on the seating surfaces. In this case, by guiding the steam supply line 42 along the side walls 1, the steam is evenly distributed within the cabin according to the invention. This even distribution also prevents a temperature gradient within the cabin, especially in the lounge area, i.e. H. the seats 37, 39.

The benches 37, 39 designed according to the invention can be fastened to the inside of the side walls 1 via corresponding fastening devices. This results in a support-free design of the benches, which makes cleaning the cabin floor easy. The possibility of cleaning the cabin is further improved if the benches are designed to be displaceable as a sliding couch.

According to the invention, the steam generated by the steam generator is first passed through a steam / air mixing nozzle 46 arranged outside the cabin, by means of which fresh air can be added to the steam in a controllable manner, so that advantageously a steam / air mixture is already present in the cabin from the steam supply line 42 the desired composition and temperature emerges. The steam / air mixing nozzle 46 works according to the principle of operation of a flow or water jet pump and, according to FIG. 11, according to the invention consists of an inlet pipe 47 connected to the steam generator and an outlet pipe 48 connected to the steam supply line 42. The inlet pipe 47 has the outlet pipe 48 on it facing end of a connecting plate 49, which is connected to an annular connecting projection 51 of the outlet pipe 48, preferably screwed. The inlet pipe 47 opens into a funnel-shaped cavity 52 formed in the connection projection 51. The connection plate 49 has air passage bores 53 in the region of the cavity 52. An adjusting ring 55 is adjustably seated on an external thread 54 of the inlet pipe 47, which has an annular shoulder 56 which surrounds the connecting plate 49 on the outside and which forms an adjustable annular gap 58 with the outer surface 57 of the connecting shoulder 51 the cavity 52 creates a negative pressure, whereby air through the annular gap 58 and the bores 53, i. H. flows in the direction of arrow 59 and mixes with the steam. It is also possible to completely close the annular gap 58.

On account of the steam / air mixing nozzle 46 provided according to the invention, it may be sufficient for single-stage steam bath cabins to arrange a steam inlet nozzle 61 (FIG. 9) only in at least one cabin corner, since mixing the steam with cool air does not result in burns from hot steam can.

The present invention also relates to a specific guidance of the exhaust air. For this purpose, exhaust air chimneys 62 are formed in the corners of the cabin, at least in two corners, preferably in all corners of the cabin according to the invention, the inlet opening of which is formed below the seat surface of the seat 37, approximately 25 cm above the cabin floor 31 and the outlet opening of which is in the roof area . These exhaust air chimneys 62 advantageously have a triangular cross section, and the triangular sides are formed by the side wall sections abutting in the corner and a facing profile 63. It is advantageous if the exhaust air chimneys, ie. H. their inlet openings have the same spacing from one another, if possible, over the circumference of the cabin, as a result of which optimal ventilation of the cabin space is achieved. Due to the arrangement of the exhaust air chimneys within the cabin corners, a cabin interior that is not to be used is expediently used, and only one veneer profile per chimney is required. The course of the chimney inside the cabin is also favorable, since this improves the chimney effect. Furthermore, it can be provided according to the invention to make the outlet cross section of the chimneys changeable, so that the exhaust air can be discharged with regard to different bath sizes. Thus, for example, the exhaust air chimneys can be completely closed in the heating phase.

According to an advantageous development of the invention, an infusion device for fragrances or the like is arranged in at least one cabin corner. A first embodiment of such an infusion device 64 is shown in FIG. 9. This version is used particularly in single-stage steam bath cabins. It consists of a container 65 which has an outlet 66 arranged in the area of the steam inlet nozzle 61. As shown, the container 65 can be triangular in cross section. Advantageously, the container 65 has in its central region a funnel-shaped bottom 67 opening into the outlet 66, below which the steam inlet nozzle 61 opens into the container 65. The container 65 is designed to be open at its lower end to form a steam outlet opening 68. The open end of the container 65 forming the steam outlet opening 68 is approximately 30 cm. Above the cabin floor 31. At its upper end, the container 65 has a fill opening 69 through which fragrances, e.g. B. essential oils, such as those used in the sauna, can be filled. These fragrances mix with that from the Steam outlet nozzle 61 emerging steam or steam / air mixture, and flow out of the steam outlet opening into the cabin.

As an alternative to this design, an infusion device 70 (FIG. 10) is provided for multi-stage cabins which have a steam supply line 42 and which consists of a container 71 which has an outlet 73 connected to the steam supply line 42 via a pipe or hose line 72. The container 71 - like the container 65 of the infusion device 64 - is triangular in cross section. It has a funnel-shaped bottom 74 opening into the outlet 73. The fragrances filled through an upper filling opening 75 pass via line 72 into the steam supply line 42, where they flow into the cabin together with the steam.

In both versions of the infusion devices 64 and 70 it can be provided according to the invention that the outlet 66, 73 of the container 65, 71 has a metering valve (not shown), so that the addition of fragrances can advantageously be regulated.

In summary, the steam bath cabin according to the invention offers the following advantages over conventional designs:
  • Multi-stage seating (three or multi-stage cabins also possible)
  • Easy assembly thanks to floor frames, wall elements and roof frames with roof elements, whereby level differences in the room floor can be compensated for
  • the bathers sit closer to the steam inlet without risk of burns, which means that lower steam temperatures are sufficient; Result: energy saving
  • Different color design of the cabin interior possible
  • individual infusion of fragrances or the like
  • The vestibule in front of the cabin is always dry thanks to the condensation drainage channel in the door.

The present invention is not restricted to the exemplary embodiments shown, but the scope of protection is determined by the claims below.
