Aussparungen aufweisenden, Überzug aus hochviskosem Beschichtungsmittel, mit einer zwischen der Auftragswalze und einer Dosierwalze angeordneten Zwischenwalze, einer Lackvorratseinrichtung sowie mit einer Gegenwalze zur Auftragswalze, dadurch ge­kennzeichnet, daß die Walzen (1, 2, 3) derart angeordnet sind, daß das Beschichtungsmittel von dem zwischen der Do­sierwalze (1) und der Zwischenwalze (2) gebildeten, unter einer Düsenzuführeinrichtung (5) angeordneten, Lack-Vorrats­spalt (4) bis zum Auftragen auf das Substrat im wesentlichen vertikal nach unten transportiert wird.1.
