Bei der Fadenspannungs-Reguliereinrichtung für Strickmaschinen, bei welcher der Faden (25) einen Fadenspannungsmesser (24) und eine in Abhängigkeit von der Anzeige des Fadenspannungsmessers automatisch einstellbare Fadenbremse (20) durchläuft, ist in Fadendurchlaufrichtung unmittelbar vor der automatisch einstellbaren Fadenbremse (20) eine Fadenfördervorrichtung, insbesondere ein Fadenspeicherfournisseur (13), angeordnet, mit welcher die dem Faden auf seinem Weg von der Garnspule bis zur Fadenbremse auferlegte Spannung aufgehoben wird. Eine Reguliereinrichtung der eingangs genannten Art ist beispielsweise aus der US-PS 45 23 440 bekannt. Dort wird eine Fadenbremse mittels eines Elektromotors in ihrer Bremswirkung verstellt, wobei der Motor in Abhängigkeit von der Anzeige eines Fadenspannungsmessers entweder in der einen Drehrichtung zur Verstärkung der Bremswirkung oder in der anderen Drehrichtung zur Verminderung der Bremswirkung betrieben wird. Durch diese Bremswirkungsregelung soll erreicht werden, daß für gleiche Gestrick stücke auch immer gleiche Fadenlängen verarbeitet werden, so daß auch gleiche Gestrickabmessungen gewährleistet werden können.
Es hat sich bei diesen Fadenspannungs-Reguliereinrichtungen aber herausgestellt, daß durch die vielen Fadenleitorgane und Fadenüberwachungsvorrichtungen, über welche ein Faden von einer Garnspule bis in den Arbeitsbereich einer Strickmaschine geleitet werden muß, starke Fadenspannungschwankungen auftreten. Diese dauernden Fadenspannungsschwankungen führen auch zu einer dauernden Anzeigetätigkeit des Fadenspannungsmessers, wenn man dessen Empfindlichkeit nicht so stark herabsetzt, daß die angestrebte Wirkung der Einrichtung verlorengeht. Betreibt man den Fadenspannungsmesser in einem wünschenswerten Empfindlichkeitsbereich, muß die Fadenspannung an der Fadenbremse praktisch dauernd ausreguliert werden.A regulating device of the type mentioned is known for example from US-PS 45 23 440. Die gestellte Aufgabe wird bei der genannten Fadenspannungs-Reguliereinrichtung erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß in Fadendurchlaufrichtung unmittelbar vor der automatisch einstellbaren Fadenbremse eine die dem Faden auf seinem Weg von der Garnspule bis zur Fadenbremse auferlegten Spannung aufhebende Fadenfördervorrichtung angeordnet ist und daß zwischen der Fadenbremse und dem in Fadendurchlaufrichtung nachgeordneten Fadenspannungsmesser ein an sich bekannter Fadenaufholspanner angeordnet ist. Dies bedeutet, daß am Fadenspannungsmesser nur noch die Spannungsänderungen erfaßt werden müssen, die der Faden auf seinem Weg von der gesteuerten Fadenbremse bis zur Verarbeitungsstelle der Strickmaschine erfährt.
