The lines 24 then pass downwardly to the deck of the boat and tension is applied in any suitable manner. For example by hydraulic means attached to a head member to which the ends of all of the lines of one or other of the sail panels are anchored.

Claims (10)

1. Segeleinrichtung, bestehend aus einem Mast (2), einem oberen, am Mast angeordneten spitz zulaufenden Teil (6), einem unteren, ebenfalls am Mast angeordneten spitz zulaufenden Teil (7), welches sich parallel zu dem oberen Teil (6) erstreckt, wobei die Befestigungspunkte des oberen und unteren Teils am Mast im vorderen Bereich der Teile im Schwerpunkt derselben liegen, weiterhin sind Verbindungsmittel (11, 14) vorgesehen, die mit Laufschienen (13, 17) versehen sind, wobei der Anfangsbereich der oberen und unteren spitz zulaufenden Teile verbunden wird, weiterhin sind Gleitringe vorgesehen, die in den Laufschienen laufen und mit dem Segeltuch verbunden sind und hierdurch ein Segelschot (5) ausbilden, welches sich von den Laufschienen nach hinten als zwei flügelartige Segel (5a, 5b) erstreckt, wobei jedes der Segel seitlich den Mast umgibt und die Endbereiche der flügelartigen Segel an den oberen und unteren spitz zulaufenden Teilen befestigt sind, und weiterhin in paarweise Anordnung flexible sich in Längsrichtung erstreckende Segellatten (22, 23) vorgesehen sind, wobei diese in entsprechenden Segeltaschen in den flügelartigen Segelschot angeordnet sind, wobei sich die Segellatten in paralleler Anordnung zwischen den oberen und unteren spitz zulaufenden Teilen erstrecken, wobei die vorderen Enden der Segellatten am Segelschot verankert sind und die hinteren Enden sich in den Bereich der hinteren Teile der flügelartigen Segelschote erstrecken, wobei im hinteren Bereich die Segellatten eine ineinander greifende Verbindung aufweisen und schließlich Mittel vorgesehen sind, um mit Hilfe eines Preßdruckes eine kurvenartige Biegung auf die Segellatten zu erzeugen, wobei auf die Segellatten in Richtung auf deren Längserstreckung eine Kraft aufgebracht wird, welche die Segellatten zusammendrückt.
2. Segeleinrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindungsmittel aus einem sich in Längsrichtung erstreckenden Verbindungsstück (11) bestehen, wobei das Verbindungsstück entlang seiner Länge zwei Laufschienen aufweist und in den Laufschienen Gleitringe bzw. Gleitrollen angeordnet sind, um die bogenförmige Segelschote im vorderen Bereich zu führen.

Segeleinrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindungsmittel aus zwei sich in Längsrichtung erstreckenden Verbindungsstücken (14) bestehen, wobei jeder eine Laufschiene (17) aufweist und in den Laufschienen Laufrollen angeordnet sind, um dadurch den vorderen Bereich der flügelartigen Segelschote (5a, 5b) zu führen.

Segeleinrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindungsmittel zwischen der Mastspitze und dem Mastfuß aus einem Verbindungsteil (11) mit einer eingearbeiteten Laufrille (13) bestehen, wobei in der Laufrille ein Gleitstück läuft und die Gleitstücke in Längsrichtung an dem Segelschot (5) angeordnet sind, wobei das Segelschot (5) teilweise die Stützanordnung umgibt und sich dann nach rückwärts nach den anderen Enden der oberen und unteren spitz zulaufenden Glieder, welche die zwei flügelartigen Segel (5a, 5b) abstützen, erstreckt, wobei sowohl der Mast (2) und auch die Verbindungsteile (11, 14) zwischen den flügelartigen Segelschoten angeordnet sind.

Segeleinrichtung nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine nasenförmige Umrahmung (18) mit einem U-förmig ausgebildeten Körper vorgesehen ist, wobei der Körper teilweise die Verbindungsmittel (11, 14) und die Laufrillen (13) umgibt, um hierdurch im Bereich der Vorderseite des Segels einen stromlinienförmigen Verlauf zu schaffen.
6. Segeleinrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die nasenförmige Umrandung (18) so ausgebildet ist, daß entlang der Längsachse eine teilweise Rotation ermöglicht wird.

Segeleinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 2, 3 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die nasenförmige Umrandung ausgehend von dem U-förmig geformten Körper nach hinten weisende Schenkel (19) aufweist, um hierdurch zwischen der profilierten nasenförmigen Umrahmung und dem Profil der flügelartigen Segelschote (5a, 5b) eine stromlinienförmige Verbindung zu schaffen.

Segeleinrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mittel, um auf die Segellatten mit einer Krümmung einzuwirken, aus einer Verschürung bestehen, die sich von dem oberen nach dem unteren Glied (6, 7) erstreckt und hierbei mit den hinteren Enden der Segellatten in Verbindung steht.

Segeleinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mittel, um mit Hilfe einer Preßkraft eine Krümmung an den Segellatten (22, 23) zu schaffen, aus einer Vielzahl von Seilen nach Art einer Verschnürung besteht, wobei die Seile in der Anzahl der Zahl der Segellatten entsprechen und die Seile hierbei im Bereich der Bogensehne an den Segellatten zwischen Befestigungspunkten angeordnet sind, wobei die Verschnürung vom Anfang der Segellatten ausgeht und sich über einer Umlenk-bzw. Befestigungseinrichtung (26) an das andere Ende der Segellatten erstreckt und dort ebenfalls befestigt ist
10. Segeleinrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die vordere Kante und die seitlichen Bereiche des Segels (5) der Segeleinrichtung im segelfertigen Zustand bogenförmige Kreisabschnitte darstellen.
