- La présente invention concerne le domaine du trans-' port de liquides, en particulier de liquides dangereux, au moyen de conteneurs sur palettes gerbables, et a pour objet un tel conteneur muni d'un dispositif de protection en treillis plié.
- Les conteneurs sur palette sont généralement sous forme d'une poche rigide protégée par une armature métallique ou une caisse de protection en bois ou encore par une protection en tôle. Ces conteneurs présentent néanmoins divers inconvénients, tels que prix de revient et poids élevés, hauteur de gerbage limitée, poche difficile à changer ou encore niveau de liquide difficile à lire.
- On a alors pensé à fixer sur la palette un cadre en treillis métallique entourant une poche étanche rigide ou souple équipée de bondes de remplissage et de vidange.
- Le cadre en treillis, constitué par des fils verticaux et des fils horizontaux reliant les fils verticaux, est obtenu par pliage d'un panneau dont les extrémités sont assemblées par soudure, au moyen de crochets, pinces ou analogues, présente une ouverture découpée au niveau de la bonde de vidange de la poche et est fixé sur la palette au moyen d'agrafes ou de pattes fixées sur la palette par vissage.
- Cependant, lors d'une chute par exemple, l'éclate- ment de la poche ainsi que la désolidarisation du cadre métallique de la palette ne peuvent être évités du fait d'une déformation excessive.
- La présente invention a pour but de pallier ces inconvénients.
- Elle a, en effet, pour objet un conteneur sur palette essentiellement constitué par une palette, un cadre et une poche étanche, caractérisé en ce que le cadre est pourvu de renforcements permettant d'éviter toute déformation ou éclatement de la poche étanche ainsi que toute désolidarisation entre le cadre et la palette.
- L'invention sera mieux comprise grâce à la description ci-après, qui se rapporte à un mode de réalisation préféré, donné à titre d'exemple non limitatif, et expliqué avec référence aux dessins schématiques annexés, représentés à des échelles différentes, dans lesquels :
- la figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'un conteneur conforme au mode principal de réalisation de l'invention ;
- la figure 2 est une vue en coupe d'un coin supérieur du conteneur conforme à l'invention selon la ligne A-A de la figure 1;
- les figures 3, 4, 5 et 6 sont des représentations schématiques de différentes variantes de réalisation du bord supérieur dudit conteneur conforme à l'invention ;
- la figure 7 est une vue en coupe d'une variante de réalisation de la partie supérieure du conteneur, conforme à l'invention ;
- la figure 8 est une vue en perspective d'une variante de réalisation du conteneur conforme à l'invention ;
- la figure 9 est une vue en coupe du moyen de fixation de la protection supérieure en treillis du conteneur conforme à l'invention ;
- la figure 10 est une vue de dessus du même moyen de fixation, en coupe selon la ligne B-B de la figure 9 ;
- la figure 11 est une vue schématique en coupe d'une variante de réalisation du moyen de fixation ;
- la figure l2 est une vue schématique en coupe d'une seconde variante de réalisation du moyen de fixation ;
- la figure 13 est une vue de dessus et en coupe de la variante de réalisation du conteneur conforme à l'invention ;
- la figure 14 est une vue de face et en coupe de la partie inférieure du conteneur conforme à l'invention ;
- la figure 15 est une vue schématique, en coupe, d'une variante de la partie inférieure du conteneur conforme à l'invention, et la figure 16 est une vue en perspective de la poche étanche munie de mouffles de protection.
- Conformément à l'invention, le cadre 2 est pourvu de renforcements permettant d'éviter toute déformation ou éclatement de la poche étanche 3 ainsi que toute désolidarisation entre le cadre 2 et la palette 1.
- Selon une caractéristique de l'invention, et comme le montrent plus particulièrement les figures 1 et 13 des dessins annexés, les renforcements sont sous forme d'une ou plusieurs traverses métalliques 4 fixées sur un cadre métallique 5 renforçant le périmètre inférieur du cadre 2 en treillis. Les traverses 4 sont positionnées au-dessus des planches transversales de la palette 1, de manière à protéger la poche étanche 3 des pointes de fixation qui se trouvent sur la palette 1 et qui risqueraient de perforer le fond de la poche étanche 3.
- Selon une variante, les renforcements peuvent aussi être sous forme d'une plaque métallique protégeant tout le fond de la poche étanche 3 et fixée sur le cadre métallique 5 renforçant le périmètre inférieur du cadre 2 en treillis. Comme le montre la figure 1, le cadre métallique 5 peut également être entièrement recouvert d'un bord 24, dont la section est telle qu'elle épouse la forme de la poche étanche 3. Ce bord 24 pourra être, par exemple, en polystyrène expansé ou en mousse de polyuréthane ou de polyéthylène.
- Comme le montre la figure 15, le cadre métallique 5 peut encore être pourvu, le long de ses quatre côtés, d'une pièce de protection 25 dont une extrémité est fixée entre le cadre métallique 5 et la palette 1. Cette pièce de protection 25 sera avantageusement doublement repliée, de manière à ce que l'une de ses extrémités soit parallèle au treillis du cadre 2, c'est-à-dire verticale, et l'autre extrémité maintenue entre le cadre métallique 5 et la palette 1, la partie centrale étant inclinée de manière à pouvoir maintenir la poche étanche 3. Ainsi, le bas de la poche 3 est efficacement protégé lors'd'une chute d'un angle de 45° sur le bord de la palette 1. Le cadre 5 est fixé sur la palette 1 à l'aide de boulons, de vis ou de pointes 11, et est relié au cadre métallique 2 en treillis ainsi qu'aux extrémités des traverses métalliques 4 par soudage, collage ou autre (figure 13). La palette 1 elle-même est renforcée et présente à chacun de ses quatre coins des plots de fortes dimensions destinés à absorber l'énergie en cas de chute sur l'un de ces quatre coins. D'autre part, le plateau de la palette 1 est dégagé à proximité de l'endroit où se trouve le robinet de vidage de la poche étanche 3, de manière à ce qu'aucune partie constitutive de la palette 1 ne vienne percuter ledit robinet en cas de chute accidentelle.
- Les renforcements sont, en outre, sous forme de coquilles 18 situées chacune à un coin supérieur du conteneur, la forme intérieure desdites coquilles 18 étant telle qu'elle épouse exactement la forme de la poche étanche 3.
- Selon un mode de réalisation préférentiel, la partie supérieure du conteneur est encore renforcée par une cornière 14 recouvrant le périmètre supérieur du cadre 2 et bloquant les fils supérieurs du treillis du cadre 2. Cette cornière 14 est avantageusement pourvue d'une ou plusieurs traverses de gerbage et de renforcement 19. Ainsi, ces traverses 19 permettent d'empiler les conteneurs les uns sur les autres, tout en offrant un renforcement de la partie supérieure du cadre 2, appréciable par exemple en cas de chute en biais sur le dessus du conteneur.
- Selon une variante de réalisation, la cornière 14 est pourvue de deux traverses de gerbage et de renforcement 19 parallèles joignant deux côtés opposés de la cornière 14 ainsi que de deux traverses de blocage 20 situées sous les traverses 19 (figure 7). Ainsi la poche étanche 3 est en contact avec les deux traverses de blocage et est ainsi fermement et totalement maintenue. La cornière 14 pourra être en U (figure 2) ou en L (figure 4).
- Enfin, la cornière 14 peut être munie à chacun de ses angles, de coins rigides 9, par exemple métalliques. Comme on peut le voir sur les figures 1 et 2, ces coins 9 permettent, outre un renforcement, le maintien des coquilles 18 au contact de la poche étanche 3.
- Lors d'une chute accidentelle du conteneur, notamment d'une hauteur relativement élevée, les boulons, vis ou pointes 11 ne sont donc plus sollicités, l'ensemble reste solidarisé, et le risque de l'éclatement de la poche 3 par déformation excessive est supprimé. Les traverses métalliques 4 soudées au cadre métallique 5 renforcent bien entendu,la rigidité de l'ensemble. Elles seront avantageusement au nombre de quatre et disposées de manière croisée, à savoir deux dans le sens longitudinal et deux dans le sens latéral. Le cadre métallique 5 sera relié par soudure à tous les fils métalliques du treillis métallique du cadre 2 ou à une partie seulement d'entre eux.
- Conformément à une variante de l'invention, et comme le montre la figure 8 des dessins annexés, les renforcements sont, en outre, sous forme d'une protection 6 en treillis métallique recouvrant la partie supérieure du cadre 2 en treillis.
- Selon une caractéristique de cette variante de réalisation, la protection supérieure 6 en treillis métallique est munie d'une découpe centrale 12 laissant accessible la bonde de remplissage 13 de la poche 3.
- D'autre part, la protection supérieure 6 en treillis métallique est fixée au cadre 2 en treillis grâce à une cornière 14 recouvrant le périmètre supérieur du cadre 2 et bloquant les fils supérieurs du treillis du cadre 2 et du treillis de la protection supérieure 6 à l'aide d'étriers 15 et d'écrous 16 (figures 9 et 10).
- La découpe centrale 12 est, de préférence, de même forme que la bonde 13, mais de diamètre légèrement supérieur. Les écrous 16 coopèrent avec un profilé plat 17 de pincement du cadre 2 en treillis qui s'étend horizontalement sur chaque face du cadre en treillis 2 à proximité de la protection 6 en treillis métallique. Elle est munie de percements nécessaires au passage de chaque étrier 15.
- Selon une variante de réalisation, la protection supérieure 6 en treillis métallique est fixée au cadre 2 en treillis grâce à deux cornières 14 et 21 recouvrant respectivement, l'une le périmètre supérieur du cadre 2, et l'autre le périmètre de la protection supérieure 6, les deux cornières étant maintenues solidaires entre elles à l'aide d'étriers 15 et d'écrous 16 (figure 11).
- Selon une autre variante de réalisation, la protection supérieure 6 en treillis métallique est pourvue d'un débordement 22 vers le bas, de manière à recouvrir la partie supérieure du cadre 2 en treillis, ce débordement 22 étant fixé aux fils du cadre 2 en treillis à l'aide d'étriers 15 et d'écrous 16 (figure 12).
- La partie supérieure du conteneur peut, d'autre part, être renforcée par un ou plusieurs fils supplémentaires horizontaux du treillis du cadre 2 ou par un tube creux 23 traversé par les fils du cadre 2 en treillis et s'étendant sur _tout le périmètre du conteneur (figures 3, 5 et 6).
- Conformément à la figure 8, les renforcements peuvent, en outre, être sous forme d'une ceinture métallique 7 entourant la partie supérieure du cadre 2 en treillis, sous forme de montants métalliques 8 situés chacun à un coin du cadre 2 en treillis et sur toute la hauteur de ce dernier, sous forme de coins rigides 9', par exemple métalliques, situés chacun à un angle de la protection supérieure 6 en treillis métallique, et encore sous forme de mouffles de protection 10 situés aux angles supérieurs et/ou inférieurs de la poche étanche 3.
- Dans ce cas, bien entendu, la ceinture métallique 7 est munie des percements nécessaires au passage de chaque étrier 15 et remplace avantageusement le profilé plat 17 du cadre 2 en treillis.
- De cette manière, la déformation de la protection entourant la poche 3 sera très largement amoindrie en cas de chute et la déformation de la poche 3 se trouvera, de ce fait, supprimée.
- Bien entendu, l'invention n'est pas limitée au mode de réalisation décrit et représenté aux dessins annexés. Des modifications restent possibles, notamment du point de vue de la constitution des divers éléments, ou par substitution d'équivalents techniques, sans sortir pour autant du domaine de protection de l'invention.
