Description

The invention relates to a two-component pack according to the preamble of claim 1.

A two-component pack of this type is known from DE-PS 33 27 615. Packing containers are manufactured particularly economically using the blowing process. As a rule, relatively elastic plastic material is used. Herein lies u. a. the advantage of a better adaptation, for example to temperature-dependent internal pressures. On the other hand, the low material thickness to be aimed for, i.e. H. Wall thickness come to a certain evasion tendency in the neck area, which u. U. the tightness is detrimental. The quality of the material used can also play a role.

The object of the invention is to design a generic two-component pack in a technically simple, stable manner in such a way that it is largely independent of the neck area without departing from the basic principle described in the aforementioned DE-PS.

This object is achieved by the invention specified in claim 1.

The subclaims are advantageous developments of the two-component pack according to the invention.

As a result of such a configuration, a generic two-component pack of particularly high utility value is created: while maintaining the force-saving separation of the cup in the course of the screwing-on movement of the closure cap, even thinner wall thicknesses can be used. Nevertheless, there is a surprisingly high stability in the neck area due to the multilayer there; the ring wall of the neck is surrounded by an adapter ring which stabilizes or supports it in the manner of a tire. It can also be a plastic material. The material can be optimally selected with regard to the thread engagement. on the inside, the cup itself stiffens the ring wall of the neck; on the outside, the inner surface of the adapter ring presses against the ring wall. In this way, the ring wall of the neck between the cup and adapter is practically positively clamped. Even higher loads do not impair the function of the seal or the threaded connection intended for this area. As a result of its rotation-proof assignment, the adapter ring is also not dragged along during the rotation of the closure cap. A bead / groove positive connection between the cup surface and the ring wall is advantageously realized. The cup is thus also axially stable in use and fixed in relation to the neck, the adapter encompassing this unit contributing to the maintenance of this connection. On the outside, the ring wall of the neck carries shoulders, which are clipped over by counter shoulders of the adapter ring. In terms of assignment, the procedure is appropriately such that the adapter ring is first placed on the neck, using a radially central evasive movement of the retatively thin ring wall of this neck. The subsequent insertion of the cup into the shark opening causes an outward clamping force, so that the engagement of the beads and grooves becomes even more intimate. In an advantageous manner, the cup, with an integrally formed outward edge, engages over the upper front edge of the neck and the adapter ring. In addition to the degree of sealing achieved in the layer joints The multi-layered neck also gives an advantage in terms of an embodiment in that the closure cap has an annular web extending from its pot bottom surface for sealing support on the collar of the cup in the screwed end position of the closure cap. The correspondingly wide collar of the cup also contributes as additional protection against detachment of the adapter ring. To increase the sealing contact of the ring web, this can be designed like a lip. Furthermore, it proves to be advantageous that the outer surface of the collar of the closure cap has a sealing ring bead which comes against the corresponding inner surface of the cup. The first component is optimally sealed. The collar forms the inner support and the outer wall of the closure cap forms the outer support of the layers of cup, neck and adapter ring which are practically contained in a U-shaped annular space. The rotation of the adapter ring is formed by claw coupling-like engagement of axially aligned strips on the ring wall and inner surface of the adapter. The strips run in a joint zone formed by wall offset. It proves to be advantageous that the ends of the strips in the coupling direction have roof-shaped centering bevels, the ridge of which in the plug-in end position precede the oblique steps of the joint zone in the same direction. In this way, there is at the same time a safe push-on limitation for the adapter ring with a slight, even outward-pointing expansion component, which further promotes the threaded engagement between the closure cap and the adapter. Finally, in view of a structurally simple status display, i.e. whether the mixing has taken place or the two-component pack is still in its original condition, it is favorable that the end of the adapter ring on the container side protrudes freely by an amount in relation to the corresponding cap edge in the sales basic position , which corresponds to the remaining stroke of the sealing cap in the end screw thread position. The adapter ring therefore has another function. The adapter ring can do this be designed differently. On the other hand, however, it is also sufficient to design the section of the adapter ring which forms the visible ring and which is exposed in the original state for a more conspicuous identification. On the other hand, the application of a signal color is also conceivable, so that the display is emphasized optically even more.

The subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of an illustrative embodiment. It shows

  • 2 also in half section in isolated reproduction the adapter ring,
  • 3 the neck of the packing container, partially broken open,
  • 4 the cap, again in half section,
  • Fig. 5 shows the two-component pack in the basic sales position or shortly before the cup is cut, in half section and
  • Fig. 6 shows a similar half-section, but with the lower cup section braced.

The two-component pack shown accommodates one component 1 in a cup 2 embedded in its neck 1 and the other component 1I in the larger-volume packing container 3.

The cup 2 is separated to mix the two components i, 11. A closure cap 4, which can be assigned to the neck 1 by means of the screw connection, serves as the separating tool.

The cup 2, which is made of plastic, forms an outwardly directed edge 5 in its upper, essentially cylindrical section. This overlaps the corresponding end edge 1 'of the neck 1 and thus defines the hanging depth of the cup 2. The latter is also additionally secured against falling out. For this purpose, a cup 6 is molded onto the cup jacket surface, lying slightly below the edge 5, and engages in a form-fitting manner in a corresponding groove 7 on the inner surface of the neck 1. The cup 2 can be inserted easily because the sealing bead 6 only snaps in at the last moment of the insertion movement and previously does not hinder the escape of the displaced air from the packing container. There is therefore no significant compression in the interior of the packaging container 3. On the other hand, a slight compression would not be able to push the cup out again. In addition, the clip forces are adjusted accordingly.

In order to seal the one component, the constructional procedure is such that the outer surface of the collar 9 of the closure cap 4 has a sealing ring bead 8 which strikes the corresponding inner surface of the cup 2. Several sealing ring beads 8 can be molded on.

The cup 2, which can be separated by means of the closure cap 4, forms a predetermined breaking point S. The latter is formed by an annular step of the cup wall lying in the cup and at a distance y from the cup base 2 '. On this ring step, the abutting edge 9 'of a collar 9 of the closure cap 4 entering the cup 2 from above meets the collar 4. The collar 9 is rooted in the pot bottom surface 10 of the ver end cap 4 and is designed as a cylindrical ring wall. The butt edge 9 'extends perpendicular to the longitudinal center axis zz of the rotationally symmetrical two-component pack.

The bottom of the pot bottom surface 10, which basically forms the ceiling of the pot-shaped closure cap 4, is indented slightly concavely with a central injection point.

In the basic sales position, the abutting edge 9 'of the collar 9 lies at a distance from the annular step of the cup wall which is designed as a predetermined breaking point 5. 5, it is practically also the basic sales position, since the separation of the lower cup section has not yet been effected there.

The basic sales position is defined by an annular rib 11 located spatially above the abutting edge 9, which cooperates with a locking rib 12 seated on the inner surface of the closure cap 4. Both ribs are horizontal. The back of the ring rib 11 on the upper side has a run-on slope 11 'which drops in the direction of assignment of the closure cap and which can be overrun relatively easily by the locking rib 12. The underside of the ring rib 11, however, is quite steep. When the closure cap 4 is screwed on, the operator perceives a clear, but relatively easily overcome resistance. When unscrewing the cap 4, however, there is a much stronger obstacle. By appropriate alignment of the upper flank of the locking rib 12, for example. Aligning this flank parallel to the steeper flank of the ring rib 11, an irreversible assignment of the closure cap 4 can even be achieved.

The annular rib 11 is formed on the outer surface of an adapter ring 13 placed on the neck 1. The adapter ring 13 forms the retatively thin-walled, generally elastic neck 1 outwards supporting hoop, the outer circumferential surface of which carries the thread 14 for the closure cap 4, the inner surface of the cap wall of which the corresponding mating thread 15 is formed. The threaded area is omitted on the lower half of the adapter ring 13, so that the upper half can be used peripherally for the locking overflow function explained above.

To secure the adapter ring 13 on the ring wall W of the neck 1, which stems from the inside of the packing container and is internally stiffened by the cup 2, this ring wall is used to form shoulders 16. On the outside, these shoulders are the lower flank that is oriented steeply to the longitudinal center axis zz of the packing container 3 Neck 1 formed with ribs axially spaced apart. The upper flank is kept at an acute angle to form a run-up slope. The counter-shoulder 17 which engages around this shoulder 16 in pairs of ring ribs is located on the inner surface of the adapter ring 13. There it is the upper steep side flank of the ring ribs which are also formed in pairs. The counter shoulder 17 also forms run-up slopes on the underside of these ring ribs. The interlocking of the practically sawtooth-like structure results from FIG. 6. This assignment is irreversible. It is a form-fitting interlocking.

Die auswärts weisende Ringstirnkante des Randes 5 fluchtet mit der Mantelfläche des Adapterringes 13.The upper end edge 13 'of the adapter ring 13 is flush with the end edge 1' of the neck 1 overlapped by the edge 5. The outward-facing ring end edge of the edge 5 is aligned with the outer surface of the adapter ring 13.

Included in the rotationally symmetrical multilayer of the stabilized neck portion of the packaging container 3 are from the inside to the outside: the collar 9 which braces the cup 2 on the inside, the cup wall, the ring wall W of the neck 1, the latter stabilizing adapter ring 13 and finally the pot wall of the closure cap 4 This forms thus the inside and outside of the supporting end of the neck area to form an annular space open towards the bottom.

From the bottom of this annular space, more precisely from the pot bottom surface 10, a ring web 18 concentrically aligned with the collar 9 extends. It is of relatively low standing height and is placed on the horizontally extending top of the edge 5 of the cup 2, and only in the end screw thread position of the closure cap 4 (Fig. 6), in which position the collar 9 the detachable portion of the Bechers levered off. To increase the sealing there, the free end of the ring land 18 is tapered like a lip; it digs somewhat into the elastic material of the cup rim 5.

Die diesbezügliche Fugenzone erstreckt sich über die halbe Höhe des Adapterringes 13.The adapter ring 13 is further secured against rotational entrainment on the ring wall W of the neck 1. The corresponding anti-rotation device results from a claw coupling-like intermeshing of strips 19, 20. The strips 19 are molded onto the inner surface of the adapter ring 13, specifically in the lower half of this ring; the strips 20 sit on the lateral surface of the neck 1. Both strips are of approximately the same axial length and triangular cross-section. One side of the triangle is rooted in the respective part. As can be clearly seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, the ends of the strips 19 which face each other in the coupling direction have roof-shaped centering slopes 19 'and those of the strips 20 are designated by 20 1 , each of which merges into a ridge 19 "or 20". When the appropriately designed foreheads run against one another, there is therefore rejection when the strips are oriented in the same direction, so that the strips can move into the gaps 21 between the strips. The ridge of both front ends also acts against the incline 22, 23 of the adapter ring 13 and neck 1 in a way that limits the stroke. These inclined steps 22, 23 are achieved by appropriate Wall offset of both parts 13, 1. The joint zone in this regard extends over half the height of the adapter ring 13.

The strips 19, 20 additionally reinforce the wall, with regard to the lower, outwardly displaced section of the adapter ring 13 in the back of the strips 19, that is to say on the outside, there is an additional tire-like stiffening due to the thread 14 formed there, which basically intersects runs to the strips 19.

The course of the inclined steps 22, 23 leads to a certain Aufwcitungseffekt this lower half of the adapter ring; this results in an even firmer engagement of thread 14 and mating thread 15 of the closure cap 4.

Since the ridge line 19 "of the lower front end of the strips 19 only starts at an axial distance from the front edge 13" of the adapter ring 13 there, a portion of the inner surface of the ring is also supported on the neck step 1 "of the ring wall W.

The adapter ring is also used to form a status display, which clearly shows the user whether the two-component pack is still in the original state, that is to say the basic sales position is present, as shown in FIG. 5, or has already been activated. To form such a status indicator, the procedure is such that the end of the adapter ring 13 on the container side projects freely by a dimension x in relation to the corresponding edge of the closure cap in the basic sales position (FIG. 5). This dimension x corresponds to the residual stroke x 'of the closure cap, which still has to be run through by turning the same until the closure cap 4 has entered its final screw thread position (FIG. 6). The height of the sight ring created in this way is a few millimeters to one centimeter, depending on the size of the pack. A particularly striking characteristic Drawing can consist in the choice of a color-contrasting from the cap 4 material. On the other hand, however, partial coloring of the adapter ring 13 is also conceivable, based on the free-standing sight ring section.

As can be seen in FIG. 6, in the end screw thread position according to FIG. 6, this sight ring, insofar as it concerns its outer surface, is covered by the closure cap 4 screwed into the sealing position.

The removal function of the present two-component pack is described in detail in DE-PS 33 27 615 by the applicant.

All the new features mentioned in the description and shown in the drawing are essential to the invention, even if they are not expressly claimed in the claims.
