Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for storing spinning cables, in particular synthetic fiber cables in cans, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- the invention is based on a device which is described in DE-PS 20 35 020.
- the support member is a rigid roof-shaped body which has a cutout in the form of a gap along the ridge edge.
- a glow wire is provided as a separating element, which can be lowered into the gap from above.
- Resilient flaps are attached to the bracket of the glow wire with slide shoes, which serve as holding members.
- the sliding shoes which are adapted to the roof pitch, lie on the roof surfaces on both sides of the cutout when the filament is lowered and clamp the cable lying on the support body during the cutting process.
- the invention has for its object to improve a device of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1 so that it works reliably.
- Safe operation results from the following workflow: When changing position, the cable is first slackly placed over the closed support element. Then it is clamped on both sides of the support member. Only then is the gap opened by spreading the support member, the cable being pulled tight. It is cut in this state. It therefore never has the opportunity to get into the gap and cannot avoid the separating element.
- the lateral arrangement of the separating member according to claim 3 enables unimpeded folding of the cable, and its design as a rotating knife disc ensures a smooth cut without the cable ends melting.
- the feature of claim 4 prevents the cable end belonging to the empty jug from being pulled into the jug.
- the device shown in Figures 1 and 2 has two can positions I and II. Each position includes a drivable turntable 1, l 'embedded in the floor. The cans 2, 2 'are on the turntables.
- a feed device 4 is suspended from fixed rails 3, 3 ', consisting essentially of a carriage 5, in which two reel rings 7, 7' provided with a drive 6 are mounted.
- the feed device 4 is displaceable from a position drawn in solid lines in FIG. 1, which corresponds to the can position I, by means of a piston 8 into the position indicated by broken lines, which corresponds to the can position II. In each position, the feed device 4 is changeable by means of a piston 9, so that the gap between the two reel rings 7, 7 '- as symbolized by the arrow 10 - moves back and forth approximately between the axis of the can 2 and its edge.
- a delivery unit 11 is located next to the cable laying device.
- a support member 13 is arranged on a column 12 standing between the can positions I and II, which bridges the gap between the two can positions.
- a cross member 14 is also arranged in the form of a T, on which a separating member 15 is displaceable in the horizontal direction.
- the separating member 15 is a commercially available so-called circular knife machine. Such machines are usually used as hand-held devices when cutting fabrics for clothing.
- the circular knife machine has a frame with a handle 16, with the usual protective devices 17 and with a base plate 18, which on the front, ie. H. the handle 16 facing edge is tapered wedge-shaped.
- a circular or polygonal knife disk 19 is attached to the frame and can be rotated about a horizontal axis by means of an electric or pneumatic drive 20.
- the knife disc 19 dips into a slot in the base plate 18 with a narrow segment.
- the foot plate 18 is screwed onto a slide 21. This is slidably guided along a rail 22 which is screwed onto the top of the cross member 14.
- the slide 21 In the basic position shown in FIG. 4, the slide 21 is located at one end of the crossmember 14, the wedge-shaped edge of the foot plate 18 pointing towards the column 12. From this position, it can be displaced in the direction of the column 12 by means of a piston-cylinder unit 23, which engages with a piston rod eye 24 on a bolt 25 fastened to the slide 21.
- a cam-like projection 26 sits on the underside of the slide 21.
- Two contactless switches 27, 28 are attached to the cross member 14 in the immediate vicinity of the path of movement of the projection 26.
- One switch 27 is located at the end of the crossmember 14, at which the carriage 21 is in the basic position.
- the other switch 28 is arranged at a distance from the switch 27.
- the support member 13 has two flat, rectangular support plates 29, 29 'with curved side edges 30, 30'.
- the support plates 29, 29 ' are in the basic position indicated in Figure 3 with dashed lines mirror-symmetrically to the plane formed by the column 12 and the cross member 14 inclined so that they abut each other at the upper edges and together form a roof that covers part of the rail 22.
- the angle of inclination is between 40 and 50 °.
- a fork-shaped clamping bracket 39 On the upper side of the support plate 29 there is a fork-shaped clamping bracket 39, which can be folded either into a basic position or into an engagement position. In the basic position, the two fork tines are approximately perpendicular to the support plate 29, as can best be seen from FIG. 5. In the engaged position, they lie flat. The folding takes place with the aid of a piston-cylinder unit 40, which lies horizontally approximately halfway up on the underside of the support plate 29 and engages a lever 41.
- the lever 41 which is firmly connected to the clamping bracket 39 and forms the fork handle, so to speak, can be pivoted about a bolt 42 which is mounted in a block 43. This sits on the laterally projecting end of an angle piece 44, which is attached at half height transversely on the underside of the support plate 29.
- the bolt 42 is therefore short Distance above the top of the support plate 29, but laterally from the support plate and parallel to its side edge.
- the raised edges of the support plate 29 are provided with recesses 45.
- the folded clamps are indicated at 39a.
- the support plate 29 ' is correspondingly equipped with clamps 39'.
- the column 12 is about an articulation 46 attached to its foot in the plane formed by the column 12 and the cross member 14, i. H. transversely to the plane of the axes of the two cans 2, 2 'pivotable.
- the pivoting from the vertical normal position into a position only partially indicated in FIG. 6 and inclined by approximately 45 ° takes place by means of a piston-cylinder unit 47, which on the one hand is attached to an articulated eye 48 attached to the column 12 at approximately half height and on the other hand at a distance from the Column 12 attacks on a base plate attached hinge eye 49.
- the device works as follows:
- a cable 50 is fed via the delivery mechanism 11 and the feed device 4 to the can rotating about its axis.
- the drive of the turntable 1 is first switched off.
- the traversing is also stopped, so that the gap between the reels 7, 7 'is above the center of the can 2.
- the cylinder 8 now moves the feed device 4 from position to position II.
- the cable 50 lies over the roof formed by the support surfaces 29, 29 ', which is still in the closed basic position.
- the slide 21, on which the separating member 15 is mounted is now moved from the basic position in the direction of the column 12 by the piston-cylinder unit 23.
- the drive of the separating member 15 is switched on automatically.
- the clamps 39, 39 ' triggered by the switch 28, on the support plates 29, 29' and hold the cable 50 on both sides.
- the piston-cylinder unit 36 folds the support plates 29, 29 'into the working position.
- the cable 50 is pulled tight over the gap which now opens between the upper edges of the two support plates.
- the switch 37 signals that the support member 13 is in the working position.
- the separating member 15 now moves into the gap between the support plates 29, 29 'and separates the cable 50.
- the separation is complete, since the filaments have no way of avoiding the knife disc 19.
- the separating member 15 moves back into its basic position, the reaching of which is signaled by the switch 27.
- the drive of the separating element switches off, the roof closes, and the clamping brackets 39, 39 'fold back into the basic position.
- One end of the cable hangs over the edge of the full can 2, the other falls into the empty can 2 '.
- the oscillation of the feed device 4 starts again, and the drive of the turntable 1 'turns on.
- the column 12 After disconnecting the cable 50, but before folding back the clamp 39, 39 ', the column 12 is tilted sideways. Then the cable ends are released by folding back the clamps 39, 39 '. The cable ends are therefore much longer.
- One end of the cable is not pulled into the empty can 2 ', but hangs - just like the end of the full can 2 - over the edge. Both ends of the cable can be knotted by the operating personnel in order to avoid fanning out.
- the cable end of the still empty jug is - e.g. B. with an adhesive strip - attached to the can edge. Only then is the drive of the turntable 1 'switched on.
- the hanging cable ends have the advantage in further processing that you can connect the end of one can with the beginning of the other can and thus work continuously.

Abstract
In the case of a can laying device for synthetic fiber cables with an automatic can change, the space between the can positions (I, II) is bridged by a roof-shaped support member (13). This consists of two inclined support plates (29, 29 '), which are movable relative to each other and take either a basic position or a working position. In the basic position, they meet closely along the ridge edge. In the working position, they are separated by a gap. Clamping members sit on the two support plates (29, 29 ').
When changing position, the cable is first placed on the support member (13) in the basic position. Then it is clamped on both sides of the support member (13). Only then is the support member (13) brought into the working position by spreading. The cable is pulled tight over the gap that opens. In this state, it is cut by a puncturing knife disc (19) which enters the gap laterally.
Description
The invention relates to a device for storing spinning cables, in particular synthetic fiber cables in cans, according to the preamble of
The invention is based on a device which is described in DE-PS 20 35 020. In the known device, the support member is a rigid roof-shaped body which has a cutout in the form of a gap along the ridge edge. A glow wire is provided as a separating element, which can be lowered into the gap from above. Resilient flaps are attached to the bracket of the glow wire with slide shoes, which serve as holding members. The sliding shoes, which are adapted to the roof pitch, lie on the roof surfaces on both sides of the cutout when the filament is lowered and clamp the cable lying on the support body during the cutting process.
In practice, this device has proven to be insufficiently reliable. When the cable was moved from one position to the other, it was unavoidable that the running cable initially laid limply on the support member occasionally penetrated into the gap. In such cases, the sliding shoes could no longer pull the cable smooth. Sometimes a bulge even formed. A safe separation was not guaranteed.
The invention has for its object to improve a device of the type specified in the preamble of
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of
Safe operation results from the following workflow: When changing position, the cable is first slackly placed over the closed support element. Then it is clamped on both sides of the support member. Only then is the gap opened by spreading the support member, the cable being pulled tight. It is cut in this state. It therefore never has the opportunity to get into the gap and cannot avoid the separating element.
In
The lateral arrangement of the separating member according to
The feature of

Auf den Drehtellern stehen die Kannen 2, 2′.The device shown in Figures 1 and 2 has two can positions I and II. Each position includes a
Above the two jug positions, a
The
The separating
A circular or
The
The angle of inclination is between 40 and 50 °. On the undersides of the
On
On the upper side of the
The
The support plate 29 'is correspondingly equipped with clamps 39'.
In the particular embodiment of the invention shown in FIG. 6, the
Die Vorrichtung arbeitet folgendermaßen:The device works as follows:
In the position shown in FIG. 1, a
When the
After disconnecting the
