Eine der eingangs genannten Vorrichtung ähnliche Vorrichtung zur Übertragung eines Paspelstreifens in eine Paspelstreifenfaltvorrichtung ist ferner aus der DE-OS 2123160 bekannt. In dieser Stellung ragt der Faltsteg mit dem hochgewölbten Abschnitt des Stoffstreifens 12 in die Klemmöffnung der Übertragungsklammer 14 hinein. Wird nun der Arbeitszylinder 64 betätigt, so wird die Klemmleiste 60 in Richtung auf die Klemmleiste 52 bewegt, wobei der in die Klemmöffnung hineinragende doppelte Stoffabschnitt zusammen mit dem Faltsteg 34 eingeklemmt wird. Bevor die Übertragungsklammer geöffnet wird, werden die beiden Stoffteile mittels der Stoffklammer 20 gegen den Nähmaschinentisch 16 geklemmt, so daß sich der gefaltete Abschnitt des Stoffstreifens 12 nicht mehr auffalten kann. Anschließend kann die Übertragungsklammer 14 geöffnet und durch Betätigung des Arbeitszylinders 80 angehoben werden.
