Claims (2)

  1. A blank for a record sleeve made of paper with an inner lining made of a double plastics film, in which two paper portions (1,2) corresponding to the front and back of the sleeve are connected together as one piece across a fold line (3) and for adhering their free longitudinal edges one paper portion (1) is equipped with two adhesive edging strips (4,5) which may be wrapped round and which are arranged in opposed manner on said paper portion (1), and in which the double plastics film is mounted on the paper portion (1) which is provided with the adhesive edging strips and by covering the fold line of the paper portions at least along one part of their edges is connected to said portion, characterised in that each paper portion (1,2) has a length which is greater by an edging strip (1a, 2a) than the finished paper sleeve and these edging strips are formed as adhesion borders and that the adhesive edging strips (4,5) which may be wrapped round and which are provided at the longitudinal edges of said one portion (1) end at a spacing (a) from the fold line and the corners of the double plastics film (6) are cut away in the region of the fold line connecting the paper portions.
  2. A blank according to claim 1, characterized in that at its ends remote from the fold line of the paper portions (1,2) the double plastics film (6) has extensions which correspond to its cut away corners in the region of the fold line (3).
