Claims (14)

  1. A folding and lifting wheelchair made up of a chassis (1) provided with rolling elements and made up of two parallel vertical frames connected to a lower horizontal branch (6) by articulated rods (4), (5), said chassis being foldable by bringing the frames towards the branch (6) and said chair comprising a lifting structure made up of two deformable parallelograms, between which there is mounted a seat, said deformable parallelograms being movable under the action of a motor element from a substantially horizontal position termed the sitting position, to a substantially vertical position, termed the erect position, the branch (6) being the branch of a pair of axial and median compasses, said chair being characterized in that:
       said compasses develop in accordance with the median vertical plane parallel to the vertical planes, in accordance with which the frames of the chassis develop, and comprise a branch (22) articulated to the branch (6), between which there is interposed the motor element, said branch (22) being articulated by its upper end to a cross-piece (16), bending centrally with a bolt (21) which controls the bending or locking in opening of the lifting structure and of the rolling chassis.
  2. A wheelchair according to Claim 1, characterized in that the motor element is an element (28) which is movable in extension or retraction, arranged between the fixed branch (6) and the movable branch (22) of the compasses.
  3. A wheelchair according to Claim 1 and Claim 2, characterized in that the cross-piece (16) is made up of two sections (16), (17), mounted so as to be articulated on a plate (19) provided with a bolt (21) for holding in alignment of the sections (16), (17) and with a lower cap for the articulation of the upper movable branch (22) of the compasses.
  4. A wheelchair according to Claim 1, characterized in that there is added to the lifting structure (2) an articulated and movable system of foot rests (34), (35), which lowers until contact with the ground, on elevation.
  5. A wheelchair according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the system of foot rests is connected to a rocking piece (36) controlled by a rod (38) connected to the corresponding deformable parallelogram.
  6. A wheelchair according to Claim 4 and Claim 5, characterized in that the extent of rocking of the piece (36) is adjustable.
  7. A wheelchair according to Claim 4, characterized in that the platform (34) of one of the foot rests is provided with an adjustable stop (39) for resting on the ground.
  8. A wheelchair according to Claim 4, characterized in that the support (35) of each platform (34) is mounted on the piece (36) so as to be rotatable and removable.
  9. A wheelchair according to Claim 4, characterized in that the platforms (34) are provided with means allowing them to be made integral with each other.
  10. A wheelchair according to Claim 1, characterized in that the point of application of the thrust of the gas spring (24) on the fixed branch (6) of the central compasses is adjustable.
  11. A wheelchair according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the gas spring (24) is connected to the branch (6) of the central compasses by a cam articulated to said branch (6) and locked in a fixed position by cooperation of a pin in one of the orifices (27) of the branch (6), as a function of the weight of the user.
  12. A wheelchair according to Claim 1, characterized in that each frame (3) of the chassis is provided with a retractable lever (29).
  13. A wheelchair according to the preceding claim, characterized in that one of the two levers is mounted on an articulated piece and in that it controls by a connection the opening of the valve of the gas spring.
  14. A wheelchair according to Claim 1, provided with a back arranged between two uprights (13), each provided with an arm-rest (14), characterized in that the arm-rest (14) is mounted by an articulation integral with the upright (13) and connected to the rear of its point of articulation by a fixed chain (15), either in the extension of the upright (7) or in the extension of the upright (9), such that the arm-rest (14) is subject to inclination or is held in a position perpendicular to the back, on elevation.
