Abstract

A packaging means is formed in two parts which can be assembled. The first part is constituted by two compartments comprising a first compartment or container, and a second compartment or cap surmounting the first, these two compartments being separated from each other by two diaphgrams. An intermediate part of the first part joins the two compartments. The two diaphragms are fixed to the cap which is closed at its upper portion by a stopper. The second part of this packaging means is constituted by a perforator cap capable of perforating the diaphragms when it is placed in position on the second compartment. The packaging means of this type is particularly convenient for the preservation of two products independently of each other before they are mixed for use.

Description

The present invention relates to a packaging in two parts: the first part consists of two compartments separated from each other by a tearable lid; the second part consists of a perforating capsule. Such packaging makes it possible to preserve, independently of one another, at least two products and to carry out their mixing only at the time of use.

We already know bottles with two compartments which are arranged one above the other, each provided with a tear-off cap at their ends facing each other, and which comprise a cylindrical intermediate element integral with the upper compartment and screwing on the lower compartment. The upper compartment may include cutting blades integral with its wall; the lower compartment may also include a cutting ring located on the upper edge of its side wall. By screwing this intermediate element on the lower compartment, the cutting blades, as well as the possible cutting crown, tear the lids, thus bringing into contact the products contained in each of the compartments.

Such a bottle is described in particular in document EP-A-99 754. Another type of bottle using substantially the same means, in particular for cutting out the lid separating the two compartments, is disclosed in document EP-A-101.594.

It should be noted that in these bottles of the prior art, it is necessary to screw one of the compartments on the other, either directly, or by means of a part integral with this other compartment, or to exercise a force on one of them in the direction of the other, in order to perforate the seal (s) separating the two compartments. However, the users, by not correctly dosing the force or the torque to be exerted, can damage the bottle and in particular the means ensuring the sealing between the two compartments.

The object of the present invention is therefore, in particular, to provide packaging comprising in particular two compartments separated by tear-off lids, of simple manufacture and making it possible to store the products contained in each of these compartments, with a secure seal, reliable and controllable.

This object, as well as others which will appear subsequently, are achieved by packaging in two assembled parts, the first part consisting of two compartments comprising a first compartment, or container, and a second compartment, or cover, surmounting the previous, these two compartments being separated from each other by two lids, as well as by an intermediate piece joining these two compartments, this packaging being characterized in that the two lids are integral with the cover, that this cover is closed at its upper part by a stopper, and that the second part of this packaging consists of a perforating capsule capable of perforating these two lids when it is placed on the second compartment, after having removed the stopper.

Preferably, the cover comprises at its lower part, two concentric skirts: an internal skirt on which is fixed a first cover and an external skirt, having a greater height than the previous one, on which is fixed the second cover.

Advantageously, the first cover is fixed to a ring secured to the inner skirt.

Preferably, the container comprises a neck provided with hooking means.

The intermediate piece, for its part, consists of a skirt bearing on the two compartments, provided with hooking means cooperating with those of the neck of the container and means for securing on the outer skirt of the cover.

Advantageously, the intermediate piece, in vertical half-section, has the shape of a lying T, the bar of which is formed by the skirt and the base of which comprises hooking means.

Preferably, the means for hooking the neck consist of a clip ring and anti-rotation notches, and those of the intermediate piece, which cooperate with the previous ones, comprise a clipping skirt and anti-rotation notches.

Avantageusement, la pièce intermédiaire est solidaire du couvercle par clipsage de sa jupe sur la jupe extérieure de celui-ci.Advantageously, the intermediate piece is secured to the cover by clipping its skirt onto the outer skirt of the latter.

Selon un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention, la jupe intérieure du couvercle est dans le prolongement de la paroi de celui-ci.According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the inner skirt of the cover is in line with the wall of the latter.

Between the outer skirt and the inner skirt of the cover is located an intermediate skirt on which the second cover is also fixed.

Advantageously, between this intermediate skirt and this outer skirt, an orifice is formed in the wall of the cover.

Preferably, the ring and the neck provided with the clip skirt of the intermediate piece define openings substantially of the same axis and substantially of the same diameter.

As for the cover cap, it is screwed onto the latter, so as to be removable.

The second part of this packaging, which consists of a perforating capsule, can be screwed onto this cover in place of the cap.

Preferably, this perforating capsule comprises a cutting blade which can advantageously be semi-circular.

  • - la figure 1 représente une vue extérieure du conditionnement selon la présente invention lorsque la capsule perforatrice est en place ;
  • - la figure 2 est une coupe verticale de ce même conditionnement, mais en phase de stockage ;
The description which follows and which does not have any limiting character, must be read with reference to the appended figures among which:
  • - Figure 1 shows an external view of the packaging according to the present invention when the perforator capsule is in place;
  • - Figure 2 is a vertical section of the same packaging, but in the storage phase;
  • - Figure 3 is a vertical section of the packaging according to Figure 1; and
  • - Figure 4 is a cross section along the line IV-IV of Figure 3.

As can be seen in particular in the figures 1 and 2, a two-part package according to the present invention comprises a first part which is constituted by two compartments: a first compartment or container 1, a second compartment or cover 2, surmounting the previous one, these two compartments being separated one on the other by two lids 3, 4, as well as by an intermediate piece 5 which joins these two compartments 1, 2. The cover 2 is closed at its upper part by a plug 6. The second part of this packaging consists of a perforating cap 7 which is capable of perforating the two lids 3, 4 when it is placed on the cover 2 in place of the plug 6.

The cover 2 has at its lower part two concentric skirts: an internal skirt 8 on which is fixed a first cover 3, and an external skirt 9, higher than the previous one, on which is fixed a second cover 4.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the present invention, the first cover 3 is secured to a ring 10, itself secured to the inner skirt 8. The solidarity between this ring 10 and the inner skirt 8 can be achieved, for example , by clipping.

As for the container 1, it comprises, at its upper end, a neck 11 which is provided with hooking means.

The intermediate part 5 consists of a skirt 12 which bears on the two compartments, that is to say the container 1 and the cover 2, and which is also provided with hooking means cooperating with those of the neck 11 and fastening means on the outer skirt 9 of the cover 2.

This intermediate piece, according to the present exemplary embodiment, has, in vertical half-section, substantially the shape of a lying T, the bar of which is constituted by the skirt 12 and the base 13 of which comprises the means for hooking the intermediate piece on the neck 11.

For example, the means for hooking the neck 11 are constituted by a clipped ring and anti-rotation notches, and those of the intermediate piece 5, which cooperate with the previous ones, comprise a clipping skirt 14 and anti-rotation notches . Due to this very structure, the intermediate piece 5 and the container 1 are integral with one another.

Furthermore, the intermediate piece 5 is secured to the cover 2 by clipping its skirt 12 onto the outer skirt 9 of this cover 2. Therefore, the intermediate piece 5 and the cover 2 are also secured to each other . Consequently, the cover 2, the intermediate piece 5 and the container 1 constitute an assembly equivalent to a one-piece bottle.

For manufacturing reasons, it may be advantageous for the inner skirt 8 of the cover 2 to be an extension of the wall 15 of this same cover.

The cover 2, between the internal skirt 8 and the external skirt 9, also comprises an intermediate skirt 16 also integral with the second cover 4. An orifice 17 is formed in the wall 15 of the cover 2 between the intermediate skirt 16 and the external skirt 9 .

It should be noted that the space delimited by the wall 15, the two intermediate 16 and outer 9 skirts, and the second cover 4 is completely closed by the orifice 17, it is therefore possible to check the tightness of the second operculum; previously, or could have checked the tightness of the first seal after it has been fixed on the ring 10.

In the storage phase, the cover 2 is closed at its upper part by a plug 6 which is preferably screwed. In the use phase, it is therefore necessary, on the one hand, to be able to mix the products contained separately in the container 1 and the cover 2 and, on the other hand, to have a plug allowing the flow of the mixed product to be controlled. . This is why the packaging according to the present invention comprises a second part which is constituted by a perforating capsule 7.

In the use phase, it is therefore necessary to remove the plug 6 and replace it with the perforating capsule 7 which is screwed to the upper part of the cover 2. This perforating capsule is provided with a perforating blade 18 which, when the place the capsule on the cover 2, puncture the two lids 3 and 4 and cut them in a circular manner when screwing the capsule 7 onto the cover 2. This cutting blade 18, as can be seen in FIG. 4 , is advantageously in the form of a semicircle.

To facilitate the cutting of the lids 3 and 4, it is preferable that the ring 10 and the neck 11 provided with the clipping skirt 14 delimit openings substantially of the same axis and substantially of the same diameter.

Ils peuvent donc être thermoscellés sur la bague 10 et sur les jupes intermédiaire 16 et extérieure 9.The perforating capsule 7 is provided with a nozzle 19 closed for example by a plug 20 which can in particular be sectioned. According to the present embodiment, the container 1 is made of polyethylene, while the cover 2 is made of polyvinyl chloride. The ring 10 as well as the intermediate piece 5 are made of polypropylene, as is the plug 6, the perforating capsule 7 and its perforating blade. The two lids 3 and 4 are preferably made of aluminum. They can therefore be heat-sealed on the ring 10 and on the intermediate 16 and outer 9 skirts.

  • b) pendant ce temps, on soude le premier opercule 3 sur la bague 10 et on vérifie la tenue à la pression de la soudure ; puis on elipse cette bague 10 sur la jupe intérieure 8 du couvercle 2 ; on peut alors souder le second opercule 4 sur les jupes intermédiaire 16 et extérieure 9 de ce même couvercle 2 : grâce à l'orifice 17, on vérifie la tenue à la pression de cette soudure ;
  • c) on solidarise par clipsage le couvercle 2 muni de ces deux opercules sur la pièce intermédiaire 5 ;
The production of the first part of the packaging according to the present invention can for example be carried out in the following order:
  • a) on the neck 11 of the container 1, the intermediate part 5 is clipped, and this container is filled with a product such as an oxidant.
  • b) during this time, the first seal 3 is welded to the ring 10 and the resistance to pressure of the weld is checked; then this ring 10 is obliterated on the inner skirt 8 of the cover 2; we can then weld the second cover 4 on the intermediate 16 and outer 9 skirts of the same cover 2: thanks to the orifice 17, we verify the resistance to pressure of this weld;
  • c) the cover 2 provided with these two covers is secured by clipping onto the intermediate piece 5;
  • d) the cover 2 is filled with its product and the plug 6 is screwed.

Between the second cover 4 and the base 13 of the part this intermediate 5, there can be left a very small clearance allowing a possible evacuation of a gas resulting from the decomposition of the oxidant contained in the container 1. In fact, if this oxidant is hydrogen peroxide, the decomposition of this results in the production of oxygen which can create an overpressure inside the container which is detrimental to its conservation. But, due to the game described above, oxygen can escape from the container 1 by borrowing this game and passing between the outer skirt 9 of the cover 2 and the skirt 12 of the intermediate piece 5: a micro-leak is thus achieved.

The container 1 can be made of polyethylene; the plug 6, the perforating cap 7, the ring 10 for the first cover 3 and the intermediate piece 5 are made of polypropylene. As for the cover 2, it is made of polyvinyl chloride, while the covers 3 and 4 are made of aluminum.
