Abstract

1. Packaging for the packaging of lots of objects of different volumes of the type comprising an American box (1) or the like and a film (2) of heat-shrinkable plastic secured to the bottom of the box, said film (2) of plastic being pinched between the external flaps (3), adjoining two parallel walls of the box and constituting the bottom proper of the packaging, and the internal flaps (5), adjoining the two other walls and lining this bottom internally, characterized in that at least one tongue (7), cut in each of the internal flaps (5) of the bottom and articulated on the adjoining wall (6) by a pivot line formed by the connecting edge of this wall and the associated flap , is applied against the outer face of the film (2) of heat-shrinkable plastic and is glued against the inner face of the outer flaps (3) of the bottom. 2. Procédé de fabrication d'un emballage selon l'une des revendications 1 et 2, du type dans lequel l'emballage étant ouvert à sa partie supérieure et à sa partie inférieure, le film (2) de matière plastique thermorétractable, déroulé à partir d'une bobine à l'aide d'un moyen d'entraînement est abaissé à l'intérieur de l'emballage à l'aide d'un piston ou similaire, parallèlement à deux parois latérales opposées, jusqu'à dépasser l'arête libre des rabats, les deux rabats attenants aux deux autres parois latérales, de préférence celles ayant la plus petite largeur, étant alors repliés à l'intérieur de l'emballage perpendiculairement aux parois attenantes et éventuellement encollés par points sur leur face externe, le film étant ensuite ramené en contact avec la face externe des rabats précédemment repliés, et les deux autres rabats étant repliés à leur tour et appliqués contre la face externe dudit film, lequel est ensuite découpé laté­ralement, de manière à définir des parties destinées à être rabattues ultérieurement sur les objets conditionnés, préala­blement à la rétraction du film plastique, procédé caracté­risé en ce que, lorsque les rabats internes (5) du fond de l'emballage sont rabattus vers l'intérieur de celui-ci per­pendiculairement aux parois attenantes (6), lesdites lan­guettes (7) sont maintenues dans le plan des parois atte­nantes (6) ou dans un plan faisant un angle obtus avec ces parois, et ce jusqu'à ce que le film (2) de matière plastique ait été amené en contact avec la face externe desdits rabats internes (5), en ce que lesdites languettes (7), éventuelle­ment après encollage de leur face interne, sont ensuite appli­quées contre la face externe dudit film (2) et en ce que, après encollage de la face externe desdites languettes (7) ou de la partie correspondante de la face interne des rabats externes (3), lesdits rabats externes sont appliqués contre lesdites languettes.3.
