Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an elastically mounted rail for rail vehicles, such as trams, subways, trains and. Like ..
It is known to arrange an elastic intermediate layer for the elastic mounting of a rail for rail vehicles under the rail foot. However, this elastic intermediate layer causes no or only very insignificant sound insulation. It is therefore usually arranged under the sleepers supporting the rails, metal plates or the like. Sound-absorbing bearings. In such a known bearing, the sleepers supporting the rails or the like are supported against bearing frames connected to the foundation by means of inclined intermediate layers arranged on their circumference (DE-OS 28 28 713). These bearings have proven their worth; however, they cannot always be used because the space required for the storage is not always available.
The invention has for its object to mount the rail itself / elastic that it requires little space with extensive insulation of both structure-borne noise and airborne sound, so that the elastically mounted rail can be used both as a tram rail laid at street level and in tunnels can be used.
The solution to the problem is that below the rail head a downwardly tapering area is provided, the lateral boundary surfaces are an elastic intermediate support against a frame, the inner lateral boundary surfaces of which also taper downwards.
The rail mounted elastically according to the invention requires a construction height that is only slightly greater than the height of the rail itself. It is therefore particularly suitable for the renovation of existing routes - with or without ballast. In addition, it has been found that less wear occurs on the rail and on the vehicle wheel and less corrugation of the rail running surface occurs in a rail mounted according to the invention. In addition, the usual clamps for fastening the rail are omitted.
In an embodiment of the invention, a further elastic intermediate layer is provided between the rail foot and the inner lower boundary surface of the frame, so that the suspension runs progressively under a certain load on the rail and, moreover, no contact can take place between the rail and the inner lower boundary surface of the frame.
The rail, with the exception of the rail head, is advantageously completely covered by elastic intermediate layers. As a result, in addition to better sound insulation, the rail is insulated.
According to another feature of the invention, the angle which the lateral boundary surfaces of the tapered region of the rail form with one another is smaller than the angle which the inner lateral boundary surfaces of the frame form with one another.
In a further embodiment of the invention, at least one intermediate space is provided between the elastic intermediate layer arranged under the rail foot and the inner lower boundary surface of the frame, the height and cross section of which are dimensioned such that when the normal load on the rail is exceeded, which is exerted by a normally loaded rail vehicle - the space is completely filled by the elastic liner. The normal load is about 70% to 80% of full load. With this feature of the invention, the suspension is relatively soft in empty to normally loaded vehicles, while it becomes very hard at higher loads. This ensures optimal sound insulation when the rail is loaded by empty to normally loaded vehicles.
In order to prevent the material forming the elastic inserts, such as rubber, from migrating out, the elastic intermediate layers have at least one insert made of metal, fabric or the like.
The elastic intermediate layers are expediently dimensioned such that they are under tension even when the rail is not loaded.
In order to be able to elastically support standardized rails according to the invention, in a further development of the invention the downwardly tapering region of the rail is formed by molded parts, the inner boundary surfaces of which are adapted to the standardized rail.
The rail mounted according to the invention can be designed so that between the tapering downwards In the area of the rail and the rail foot, a web with approximately parallel boundary surfaces is provided or that the molded parts extend over the entire height of the web of the standardized rail.
The assembly of the elastically mounted rail is facilitated in that the frame is formed by two metal halves which are held together by screws.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the contact surfaces of the frame are chamfered in such a way that they form an upwardly open wedge-shaped gap. This can be achieved by appropriate tensioning. the two halves of the frame holding the screws, the desired preload of the elastic inserts can be set very precisely.
