Abstract

Der an dem Mantelabschnitt (M) der mit Farbe zu versehenden Farbwerkswalze (1) anliegende Abschnitt der Dichtung (7) ist mit einem Gleitbelag (8) versehen. Die andere Seite der Farbabteilplatte (9) weist Ausnehmungen (10,11) auf, die Abflußkanäle für die evtl. austretende Farbe bildet. Mit dieser Farbabteilungsvorrichtung können die einzelnen Farbmulden hinsichtlich ihrer Länge und Anzahl beliebig festgelegt werden, ohne daß unterteilte Rakelmesser benötigt werden. Description

Eine derartige Vorrichtung ist beispielsweise aus der DE-OS 33 20 638 bekannt. Bei diesen Vorrichtungen liegen die Stirnflächen der Farbabteilbleche durch Federkraft zwecks Abdichtung direkt an dem Mantel der Farbwerkswalze an. Die seitliche Abdichtung des Farbstauraumes erfolgt durch die Anlage der Farbabteilbleche an die Stirnflächen der Rakelmesser bzw. der Abstreifmesser. Derartige Vorrichtungen weisen den Nachteil auf, daß zum einen eine ausreichende Abdichtung des Farbstauraumes unter allen Betriebsbedingungen, besonders bei dünnflüssigen Druckfarben, nur schwer möglich sein dürfte und daß zum anderen keine durchgehenden Rakelmesser verwendet werden können, denn diese müssen entsprechend der Anzahl und der Länge der benötigten Farbstauräume dimensioniert sein. Des weiteren besteht die Gefahr, daß die Manteloberfläche durch das Farbabteilblech beschädigt wird. Bei dieser Ausführung verbleibt ein Farbring an der Farbwalze, der bei höheren Drehzahlen zum Abspritzen neigt oder bei längerer Betriebsdauer antrocknet.Such a device is known for example from DE-OS 33 20 638. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine Farbteilervorrichtung der eingangs definierten Gattung aufzuzeigen, mit der sowohl eine sichere Abdichtung des Farbstauraumes unter allen Betriebsbedingungen und bei einfacher Fertigung der benötigten Teile gewährleistet ist, als auch eine beliebige Aufteilung der Farbstauräume erfolgen kann, die Farbringbildung vermieden wird und daß auch durchgehende Rakelmesser bzw. Abstreifmesser verwendet werden können. Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Anwendung der Merkmale des kennzeichnenden Teils des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Weiterbildungen ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen und aus der Beschreibung in Verbindung mit den Zeichnungen. In diesen zeigen schematisch:
- Fig.1 eine Seitenansicht eines erfindungsgemäßen Farbteilers,
- Fig.2 einen Schnitt entlang der Linie II-II der Darstellung gemäß Fig.1 und
- Fig.3 eine Draufsicht des Farbteilers gemäß Fig.1 und
- Fig.4 einen Einschub mit zwei Farbteilerelementen.

Wie aus den Figuren 1 bis 3 hervorgeht, ist an eine Farbwerkswalze (1), beispielsweise eine Aniloxwalze, ein Rakelmesser (2) angestellt, durch das die aus einem Farbstauraum mit einer Farbe aufgebrachte Farbe abgerakelt wird. Um die Farbwerkswalze (1) in beiden Richtungen betreiben zu können, ist vorzugsweise auf der anderen Seite des Farbstauraumes S ein weiteres Rakelmesser (3) angestellt, durch das bei der anderen Drehrichtung die Farbe abgerakelt wird. Falls lediglich ein Betrieb in der einen Richtung erforderlich ist, kann anstelle des zweiten Rakelmessers (3) auch ein Abstreifmesser verwendet werden. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Farbteilervorrichtung ist dies ohne die Verwendung von Einkerbungen bzw. Erfindungsgemäß wird deshalb die einem Farbstauraum zugewandte Seite einer Farbabteiltrennplatte (9) mit einer Dichtung (7) belegt. In erfindungsgemäßer Weise ist die Dichtung (7) an der Farbabteilplatte (9) in ihrer Form so festgelegt, daß sie übersteht und zwar so, daß sie mit den überstehenden Bereichen jeweils unterhalb der Rakelmesser (2) und (3) elastisch anliegt, d.h., die Dichtung (7) jeweils in Drehrichtung der Farbwalze (1) gesehen, vor der Rakel (2) bzw. (3) zum Anliegen kommt. Dadurch ergibt sich der Voteil, daß trotz einer unvermeidlichen Durchbiegung der Rakeln (2) bzw. (3) eine exakte Abdichtung erhalten bleibt. Falls trotzdem seitlich etwas Farbe austritt, so wird in vorteilhafter Weise durch auf der anderen Seite der Farbabteilplatte (9) vorgesehene Abflußkanäle bildende Ausnehmungen (10, 11) dafür gesorgt, daß die austretende Farbe nicht antrocknet oder abgeschleudert wird, sondern über diese Ausnehmungen (10, 11) entlang der Farbabteilplatte (9) abgeführt und einer nicht gezeigten Farbauffangvorrichtung zugeleitet wird.
