Abstract

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung eines Drahtgliederbandes aus abwechselnd rechtsgängig bzw. linksgängig gewickelten Wendeln aus Metalldraht oder Kunststoffdraht. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren geht hierbei von Verfahrensschritten aus, wonach man die Wendeln einer Engstelle zuführt derart, daß die die Wendeln ausbildenden Windungen sich im Bereich der Engstelle öffnen und die nebeneinander befindlichen Wendeln hierbei teilweise ineinander geschoben werden derart, daß sich jeweils eine der Windungen der einen Wendel zwischen benachbarten Windungen der benachbarten Wendel befindet, und wobei man die derart ineinander gesteckten Wendeln durch Einführen eines Kupplungsdrahtes in den durch die sich überlappenden Windungen ausgebildeten Raum miteinander verbindet.The invention relates to a method and a device for producing a wire link belt from alternately right-handed or left-handed coils made of metal wire or plastic wire. Nach diesem Verfahren können breite Drahtgliederbänder also nur schwierig hergestellt werden, zumindest nicht mit einigermaßen hoher Produktionsgeschwindigkeit und ohne wesentliche Fehlstellen. Dadurch bedingt, daß man auf das bereits fertig gebildete Drahtgliederband in Transportrichtung hinter der Engstelle einen Zug ausübt, öffnen sich die mit der zugfedermäßigen Vorspannung aneinander anliegenden Windungen der Wendeln im Bereich der Engstelle gegebenenfalls unterschiedlich, wobei dies insbesondere bei einem Vergleich der jeweils mittleren Wendel mit den beiden benachbarten Wendeln der Fall ist. Die seitlichen Wendeln werden durch die Engstelle etwas präziser geöffnet als die mittlere Wendel, die ihre gerade Ausrichtung nicht verläßt. Insgesamt kann also gesagt werden, daß die frei der Engstelle zugeführten Wendeln ihre Windungen dort nicht so präzise öffnen, daß auch bei höheren Produktionsgeschwindigkeiten mit Sicherheit genau eine Windung der Wendel jeweils zwischen zwei benachbarten Windungen der benachbarten Wendel gelegt wird. Durch die Ausbildung dieser Engstelle werden die Paare oder Gebilde 4, 5 der bereits ineinander gesteckten Wendeln in Richtung der Höhe einseitig auseinander gebogen, so daß sich die oberen Wendeln 4 nach unten öffnen und die unteren Wendeln 5 nach oben. Dadurch werden die Wendeln einwandfrei ineinander gesteckt und zu dem bandförmigen Gebilde, bestehend aus einer Reihe von mehreren, ineinander gesteckten Wendelpaaren geformt. Jeweils in ein Paar der ineinander gesteckten Wendeln wird dann von der offenen Vorderseite her noch ein Steckdraht 12 eingesteckt, der ebenfalls in Fig. 2 angedeutet ist. Bei dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel besteht das nach diesem Verfahren hergestellte Drahtgliederband aus insgesamt sechsunddreißig Wendeln. Diese Anzahl kann natürlich vergrößert oder verkleinert werden, je nach den gewünschten Verhältnissen. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Drahtgliederbandes aus abwechselnd rechtsgängig bzw. linksgängig gewickelten Wendeln aus Metalldraht oder Kunststoffdraht, wobei man die Wendeln einer Engstelle zuführt derart, daß die die Wendeln ausbildenden Windungen sich im Bereich der Engstelle öffnen und die nebeneinander befindlichen Wendeln hierbei teilweise ineinander geschoben werden derart, daß sich jeweils eine der Windungen der einen Wendel zwischen benachbarten Windungen der benachbarten Wendel befindet, und wobei man die derart ineinander gesteckten Wendeln durch Einführen eines Kupplungsdrahtes in den durch die sich überlappenden Windungen ausgebildeten Raum miteinander verbindet, dadurch gekennzeichnet , daß man jeweils mehrere ineinander gesteckte Paare (4,5,4a,5a) der Wendeln der Engstelle zuführt, in deren Bereich man die Wendeln in der Transportrichtung antreibt.1.
